I contacted Airport Home Appliance, and they referred me to GE Appliances. GE scheduled a service appointment, then later rescheduled it. When I called to ask why, they told me they were waiting for parts to arrive. I was confused as to how they could determine what parts were needed without first inspecting the dishwasher. They explained that this is a common issue with this particular model. Concerned about keeping a brand-new dishwasher with a known issue, I contacted Airport Home Appliance again and requested a return so I could exchange it for a different brand. However, I was told that the 48-hour return window had passed, so I could no longer return it and would need to wait for GE to repair it. They also said that if GE is able to fix it, I would not be allowed to exchange it for another model. I'm extremely frustrated by being passed back and forth between the retailer and manufacturer while I'm left without a working dishwasher after spending $1,500 on a brand-new appliance. I came to Best Buy and purchased a Whirlpool French Door fridge. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. I brought my iPad so that I can research as I shopped. Their was no pressure, and they were able to price match my fridge. I did need to show that the price match was the same cost to ship to my zip code. Pretty reasonable request. Overall, I was able to lower the price by $400. I paid $175 for the 5-year warranty. They hauled my old fridge and installed my new one 5 days later. Free haul and delivery was on time. I am one happy camper. After comparing prices with Sears, Lowes, and Home Depot, this place offered the best deal.

I get that delivery is FREE and that they had 20 deliveries that day, but they didn't even unwrap my dryer! The delivery guy was going to dump it in the middle of my garage, but I insisted that he at least put it next to the washer. I am a tiny Filipino lady...who does that? Does it look like I can move a dryer all by myself? The least they could have done was take it out of the packaging. So rude!!! Were they rushing to get somewhere else? Lunch perhaps? Not quite sure how I am going to manage to remove the bottom part of the packaging without calling for reinforcements. They almost didn't haul away the old set too. I had to remind them to take it. He was very expert on all the appliances. We talked thorugh different brands and settled on one. He was very clear about the cost, delivery, and installation timing. He clearly new the installer personally as well. There was an offer on the fridge that we didn't know about it, but he made sure we knew about it. We couldn't exactly take advantage of it, so he worked with us on an alternative. What a great experience. Super pleasant and super efficient.
