    Wedding Cake
    Casey L.

The whole experience of ordering our wedding cake from here was wonderful! We loved that we were able to come in and sit down to try an assortment of cake flavors. I wanted a non-traditional wedding cake, and the owner took my idea and ran with it! I wanted the cake to not only look pretty, but taste amazing! We ended up going with chocolate peanut butter cake, with Reese's crumbles and potato chips crumbled between each layer. Then a drizzle of chocolate ganache on the outside of each cake layer! Omgosh I can't explain how good this cake was! I even called at the last minute to add in golden snitches for a touch of Harry Potter and was pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend!

What can I say, they knocked it out of the park. I gave them ideas, but they put together an amazing cake that rivaled the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend Johnson's if you want top notch quality and seriously want to impress your guests. Thanks Yumi!

Johnson's Cakes went above and beyond the call of duty. My fiancé and I use them for our wedding and we're extremely satisfied with the cake, grooms cake and the macaroons. The cakes were absolutely beautiful and delicious. That alone is a positive review but I wanted to share that our wedding topper was lost during the breakdown of the ceremony. My wife and I return from our honeymoon to find that our family had not collected our topper. Feeling bad for my wife's disappointment I called Ashley at Johnson's Cakes to ask if there was anyway they could help me with a replacement. They came through for me at no charge. Just proof there are still good people out there, running great business. If you need a wedding cake or a special event cake you've got to use this team.

What can I say Johnson's custom cakes did an AMAZING,AMAZING, AMAZING JOB on my baby shower cake. It not only looked beautiful it tasted amazing. We had fun fetti on the top layer and raspberry and apricot on the bottom. Everyone enjoyed the cake tremendously. This is definitely the place to get your cake. You will not be let down. Thank you Johnson's custom cakes for making such a great tasting beautiful cake.

Jennifer and Johnson's Custom Cakes are the best! We recently worked with her to design our wedding cake. We had the opportunity to taste the different cake flavor options and choose which we wanted. She also drew up a sketch of what our cake would look like during the cake tasting meeting. The cake came out amazing, tasted great and looked beautiful. We would highly recommend Johnson's Custom Cakes to others! Thank you so much Jennifer and team.

Our thanks to Johnson's for a beautiful and delicious wedding shower cake. The vanilla cake with cookie dough filling was a hit and the buttercream was excellent. Can't wait to see and taste the wedding cake.

It was a Rocky start getting in contact and information handling and a lot of miscommunication, when I say BE VERY SPECIFIC and make sure you get answers to all of your questions , Do NOT assume anything because they WILL , mess up your day when it's time to pick it up. In the end the job was done and the cake came out better than expected. I'm not sure if I'll be returning anymore because I had recommended a friend and she went through the same complications. Hopefully they change their way of communicating & doing business.

I live in VA and had my surprise wedding in WPB and I have to say that Johnson's Custom Cakes was great to work with. I contacted several bakeries and I'm glad that I chose this business. They were not the lowest quoted but their customer service was what won me over. Denia was wonderful in getting back to me in a timely manner and worked with me on what I envisioned. I ordered a tiered cake and a custom grooms cake. Flavors were delicious, they arrived earlier than expected. We had a mishap with our grooms cake but Jennifer took care of everything and we're really appreciative.

Working on a budget..What's the price range on a three tier cake?

We got a 4 tier cake. 2 layers chocolate fudge, 2 layers vanilla espresso. 100 people $6.50 a slice. Total cost $750. Worth ever penny. They really did a great job.

With the chicken pot pie hand pie quickly becoming a second favorite! Everything is delicious, fresh, and we enjoy coming and trying out the new menu items each month. The storefront is combined with a coffee shop called Cumbres and it is very cozy. A lot of people often come to get coffee, a baked good, and to get some work done on the couches or the tables, either indoor or outdoors. We love coming here and hope to keep coming back for many years!

While the baked goods are decent, this is easily one of the most poorly managed places I've visited. The staff seemed untrained and disorganized. Service was slow, multiple orders (including mine) were incorrect, and there was no apology or effort to make it right. The space itself felt dirty and chaotic, which only added to the overall experience. The pricing is also hard to justify -- $50 for a dozen pastries in Wellington is excessive, especially when better quality and significantly better service can be found for less. There are simply better options with stronger execution and more professionalism.

The event is held in the cities of Atlanta,, Orlando, Tampa, Miami and this year in West palm Beach at the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds. You have your choice of a VIP entry which gives you 50 dessert sample tickets and lets you into the event an hour early and a general admission, 30 ticket entry, Both include a small plastic box so you can take a some treats home with you. I had previously attended the event in Miami and West Palm Beach was miles better. It still had a lot of people in attendance but it did not feel as crowded. It was also much cleaner. Garbage cans were constantly emptied, debris was cleaned up, and the bathrooms were spotless. The reason to come to Dessert Wars is to try what seems like an endless assortment of desserts and it did not disappoint. Some highlights were all of the cookies and cupcakes from Anna Bakes, Midnight Mo's cookies, La Gringuita stuffed cookies, Lo's Pie Shop pies, Euphoria Desserts, The Biscuit Lady's Bakehouse, The Crumb Up cookies, Alfies Peruvian alfajores, Nikki's Jazzy Sweets, D&R Sweets chocolate covered strawberries, The Green baker's CBD oil pear marshmallows, Phuse Cream macaron ice cream sandwiches, and Wickedly's pumpkin latte cookies. There were 50 vendors serving ice cream, donuts, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, churros, pie, baklava, and so much more. This event is always worth attending. It is important to note that tickets are only sold online, not at the door. They sell out so buy early. Speaking of early, it pays to get here when they open. We arrived an hour before our timed entry so we could be at the front of the line. They give you a box to take some sweets home but bring your own container as well. At the end of the end of the event you can pretty much take as much as you want of what is left. Most importantly don't forget to vote! I found so many new places that I will follow on social media and I look forward to visiting their brick and mortar locations. May the best sweet purveyor win!

They have so many varieties of pastries, desserts, and cakes on display that's it is hard to choose. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. Slightly warm on pressed fresh Cuban bread. And the pork, ham, and cheese inside were very good as well. In fact, it was one of the better Cuban sandwiches we've had in quite awhile. For dessert, my husband got a guava and cheese pastelito. It's in the shape of a turnover. Not too sweet because the cheese tempers the sweetness of the guava. It is one of his favorites. I tried a chocolate Napoleon with merengue. The top layer had the chocolate glaze and there were thick meringue layers between each pastry layer. It was a bit gloppy and not the easiest to eat. Very sweet but good. I brought half home. Yes, they are a quite popular chain. But they have a pretty good and efficient system working at this location. And lots of staff proficient in both English and Spanish. I know we will be back.
