Five years ago when she moved to Florida where she made a care er change and she began her baking business by creating custom cakes in her home kitchen. From there she was able to expand out to opening her own shop serving all kinds of baked treats. The adorable pink and white bakery was built by Careli's husband Kevin who also built the selfie booths at So Selfless Selfie Studios in the mall. The bakery cases are stocked with cookies, cakepops, alfajores, cupcakes, pavlova, bread pudding, tres leches, strawberry shortcake, quick breads and volcano cakes made with Venezuelan chocolate. They also sell custom cakes with some examples on display made out of styrofoam. I believe my friend learned about this bakery from Instagram and wanted to check it out while we were in the mall. Although we both really wanted to like our desserts my friend found her cupcakes dry and my cannoli shell was soggy. Cannoli are best when piped fresh and I should have known when they took one already made out of the refrigerator case. The bakery is super cute and I would consider stopping by again. Next time I would try the volcano cake which is one of their best sellers.

I did not end up finishing any of my food, and I ended up throwing away my coffee. Overall my experience at KC coffee was not a good one. The prices are absurd as well, it seemed cute on the outside. But be warned the service is not great, and the food is even worse, the ants were just the cherry on top, will not be returning.

I've been using Johnsons Custom Cakes and More for over 5 years, personally and professionally. I've worked with many bakers but Johnsons always takes the time to make sure everything I want is perfect. She is busy for a reason and that's because she's the best. I've never had any issues with taste or esthetics. I bring her a vision and she adds her amazing talent every time. She is always on time and always so kind. She even gives my kids treats when they come in. Some of the reviews I've read in my opinion are not accurate. You can't please everyone. And you never know the whole story... Maybe someone didn't communicate well, or maybe didn't want to pay for an extravagant cake that was their initial vision and had to settle for a lesser design. All I can say is I will always use them as long as they are around... Everytime I've worked with them it's been beyond my expectations and the goodies always come fresh tasting amazing!!! read more

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the team at Johnson's Custom Cakes for our wedding! Our venue happens to work with them and our cake was included, but even if that weren't the case, I would do it over again and not change a thing. The tasting and initial consultation to design the cake was so easy - which is a blessing when you are an out-of-town bride. They were super responsive and worked with my husband and I to give us the cake of our dreams, which as it turns out, was a tower of cupcakes! They let us choose around 7 different flavors since they were all SO DELICIOUS and even sent my husband home with an extra of his favorite one after our meeting :-) Everything looked terrific and tasted even better than it looked! I'm so glad that I found Johnson's Custom Cakes to design and bake our baby's gender reveal Cake, our guest loved it as much as we did. The staff is super friendly and the baker is super kind. We love her. we continue to come to her bakery to get some desserts almost every weekend due to the fact that we haven't found an other dessert as good as hers in the area. we don't like deserts to be extremely sweet and this is the right place where to find what we're looking for.
