Because these signs were placed on utility poles and public easements near my home, I reached out to the business to ask about their advertising approach and to ask them to take their signs down. Their response was to not address the illegal posted signs and now they have taken it one step further by now hanging up window washing signs. They did not address the issue I raised in a constructive or professional way. While I understand the desire to promote services, my experience with the company's communication and approach to community impact was not positive. Steve (South Bay Lights) was the only one who responded that was able to help me. He helped us choose a design for our project and worked with the concrete contractor to get conduit installed prior to the concrete pour. By informing my wife and I about product choices we didn't know existed, we were able to make our vision a reality. With prompt and reliable communication from Steve, we were able to get an estimate and start the lighting after the concrete workers had already started. Steve exceeded my expectations by being flexible with the schedule of the other trades working the project and making time for our job on very short notice. The products installed look and work great. The installation work is impeccable and the support and follow up after the work was completed has been tremendous. Our project was small, but I can tell that a larger job would be no problem. I would use South Bay Lights again and would recommend without hesitation.
