Our project consisted of pouring 2 concrete slabs (1 along the side of the house and a second in the backyard), planting a boarder trim, and installing sprinkler systems in our back and front yard. Joel and crew completed all parts of this project with attention to detail and communicated effectively throughout. First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout out to the team lead managing the concrete part of our project. His attention to detail in recommending ideal drain setups in the sections where water had pooled in the past are exactly why we went Joel - we want to do things right the first time. After chatting with Joel, we installed the recommended drains, preventing a potentially expensive fix down the road. The rest of the project was completed with professionalism and Joel was great in communicating and working with our needs. Our one constructive feedback is that we did not receive a mock-up of the project before work was underway. We had a few last minute changes (the width of the trim around the backyard and the size of the mulch area in the front yard), but Joel & team communicated effectively and worked with us to make sure our needs were taken care of. All in all, we are so happy with our completed project. For years, our outside drains were clogged, and I found myself setting up pumps during the storms to get the pools of water away from our home. Every year, I would tell myself that I would get the drains cleared. Before the rains came this past winter, I hired a company to hydro jet the pipes. They tried to clear the drains, but because they were so clogged, their equipment failed. Again, I was setting up the pumps during the rain storm. So, I researched and found Joel and Sons. I met Joel and he examined our front/back yards. He gave an excellent and fair estimate that would fix the drainage problems. Throughought the entire project, Joel sent videos of the work being performed. He and the crew went above and beyond to make sure we wouldn't have any future issues. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. TruGreen was supposed to perform a soil test before the service technician arrived to determine what my lawn needed. This did not happen. When I called customer support to express my frustration about the technician arriving only to apply fertilizer without a soil test, I was assured that the test would be completed. Mike did return my call regarding my complaint, but he falsely claimed that the soil test had been done and that I must have missed the email. This was not true, as I have cameras around my property that could prove otherwise. Mike ended the conversation by saying he would look for the email and resend it to me, or if he couldn't find it, he would come and perform the test again. However, he never showed up. After not hearing from anyone for three weeks, I received a message saying that my next service would be on August 7. This was not the soil test I was supposed to have but rather another technician likely coming to apply more fertilizer. I contacted their cancellation line to terminate the service. The representative I spoke to pleaded with me not to cancel and promised that the issues would be resolved, even offering a discount. I explained that a discount wouldn't matter if no one showed up to do the work. I shouldn't have to beg for the service I'm paying for. Overall, I regret using this company. I manage my own lawn but wanted to use these "experts" to improve it, only to be left deeply disappointed.

He actually ripped out a small rose bush and hid it in the trash. Grass cutting and branches left everywhere, debris blown not raked up. There are now sharp stems from weeds on every lawn, some 5" tall. Dangerous to step on. Photos don't lie. We now have days of work to clean up the disaster left behind. Don't hire Manuel, the first and second visits were clearly a bait and switch.
