IMO though after purchasing almost $100 in steaks, pork and sausage products was disappointed with the quality at the plate. The thick cut pork chop were great, juicy and filled a large diner appetite. However the thick cut porterhouse, costing $27 was tuff when cooked to MMR, this was a big downer we had expected a whole lot more. the Link breakfast sausage was under seasoned it left us thinking it didn't bring anything special to the breakfast meal. They package the beef and pork in packages as you specify to suit your family size needs. Everything is vacuum packed labeled and sealed then frozen when you pick up your order. Compare prices and the quality of their meats are far superior to what you will find at your local grocery store. I highly recommend them.

I have,…read morehowever, had a lot of their quick sticks that they sell at local Rhodes convenience stores and they were delicious. Very similar to my favorite big brand, icon. So after seeing all the billboards on the interstate over the years I decided to stop in. I selected some brats, snack sticks that were refrigerated, unlike the quick sticks at the store and some jerky. Snack sticks were excellent and similar to a local butcher shop near my house, however the jerky was awful. Hard and tooth breaking, it also emitted some fat/lard after opening the bag. It may have just been a bad batch but not sure I would go back just based on that experience. I have yet to try the brats so will update if I think they bring the grade up. Friendly staff though! Will consider giving them another shot and hoping it was a bad jerky batch. Posting some pictures of the jerky and packaging. White stuff is all oozed out fat after I opened the package.

We are so happy this location exists because the options available are so fantastic all the time and the quality of the meat is great. Their staff are knowledgeable and can help direct you or answer any questions you may have. They can recommend cook times and seasonings as well! We often come by on Fridays and explore the different cuts of meats available. We usually bring home a ribeye or two, but we have definitely brought home sirloins and porterhouses as well. None have ever disappointed. They do weekly specials on different cuts of meat and it is a great way to try new things if you like! Most recently they have incorporated some marinated steak tips into their offerings and I am excited to try those soon. Definitely recommend this local butcher! They will also dry age your meat for you at no extra charge. We have been using them for years, and have never had a problem. They are very helpful when ordering. I recently grilled a very tasty T-bone steak from them, and have 2 ribeyes dry aging in the cooler at the shop.
