I've never been to another lash place, but this place is affordable and they respond to feedback during and after the process.

I've been getting extensions for about 6 months now. Decided to try Johnny's Lashes since it's close to my house. In the last week and a half I've had to go twice because my lashes are falling off. I've never needed a fix before 2 weeks and this place I can't even go 5 days. I'm telling you don't go there!!! Devine beauty off of Van Buren and magnolia is way better! You won't need a fix for at least three weeks. So now I'm going to a wedding after getting a fix Tuesday and have to pay for someone to glue on fakes because their glue sucks!!! I would have contacted them first to try to resolve the issue. They have no contact us info online though. read more

My first visit here was amazing. I made an appointment for 1 pm and I was finished by 1:45. The front desk girl was very nice and she knew her stuff. She helped me pick which lashes i was looking for and they look AMAZING!! I was scheduled with Carly, but someone else did my lashes. A young lady by the name Tiger did my lashes. Although the receptionist and most of the ladies are quite professional, Tiger was not. She also might need a bit more practice. It took tiger more than an hour to do my lashes when it took another lady a few weeks before about 25 minutes. Tiger poked me so many times my eyes are still sore 2 days later. There is also something scratching my eyeball, not sure if its an eyelash or glue but it is very annoying. This is a cute little place that I would definitely recommend, but do not let Tiger close to your eyes. read more

My sister and I had a very bad experience at the fontana location. Very bad customer service and the wait time was 2 hours ! On top of that my sister had to go back 3 days later because the inner corner eyelashes were coming off. Had to go 2 days in a row, the first day couldn't even get seen and the next day went and was there another 2 hours just for a fix! Mind you this not even on weekend days. There was 6 girls in the back just talking only one had a client. Ridiculous! I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. I wish I could give 0 stars. A few days ago I called Johnnys lashes to check out pricing and such, I have gone a lot of places and they always charge me up front and ends up more expensive so I made sure that when I doubled checked on pricing it was accurate. The woman at the front desk quoted me for $28.00. I make it a point to record these conversations so that I am not screwed over she in the recording said $28.00 and informed me that if you walk in they always have someone available for walk ins never said anything about being put on a call list. So Saturday approaches I walk in thinking I can get in. Woman up front"blonde hair" was extremely rude. She informed me they have no availability and that I would have to be on a call list. I was a little annoyed but what really got me upset is when I asked how much it was going to be she said its a range $70 was the highest. I told her I spoke to someone who said $28.00 she smirked and said I mis understood. Really I have a recording from Johnnys lashes saying $28.00. To argue when any customer is bad service. You apologize and say I am sorry you thought that. I feel that they judge you based on how you look and I felt as if the moment I entered there I was being judged I felt uncomfortable and in welcome. I should have looked at the reviews before I came here but I do like to give people the benefit. I am so sorry that I came into this place to begin with...the lashes started to fall off after 2 days! The quality of the lashes are horrible. I went back in there after the two days to have them "fixed" and the girl who waited on me was so rude and condescending! And BTW rude girl the lashes are still falling off....I would not recommend this place to anyone! My next visit will be to have them removed and never return. read more

have your eyelashes done elsewhere .my wife had her lashes done there today , as she was having her lashes applied , she started to cough uncontrollably. at no time did the technician offer her a glass of water to relieve her coughing spell . my wife asked for a cup of water only to be told ..." didn't you bring your own " . my wife was appalled at her statement. on another issue same visit she expressed her allergic reaction to the black mascara used by johnny's lashes to the short chubby receptionist, who responded..." maybe you shouldn't get lashes ! " she will not return to johnny's lashes again...such rude and uncompactionnate people !!!! read more

I have been coming here for years. They have no customer service and really don't seem to care about maintaining or keeping loyal customers, I had a set put on 6 days ago and the corner is loose and peeling up, a very simple fix that should be free and quick, after being told no spots and over 2 1/2 hr wait I notice once again there are only 2 girls working because once again the other 2 are running late... this happens too much anymore. her suggestion for a less than a week old set was goto store and buy clear glue unless I wanted to wait 2 1/2 hours for a less than 5 min fix?! This has happened a few times the past 6mths. Brand new set and in less than a week starting to raise. That is not acceptable for the price. I recommend many people to this place and I won't be anymore today was the braking point. Loyal for 2 years gets you nothing.. I get lots of compliments and have handed out MANY cards for this place in fact you have gotten at least 15 referrals from me ,no more and I will be looking for a new salon myself. I always love my lashes but if you have an issue which is already frustrating it's much worse with the awful customer service provided. And good luck trying to contact a owner to complain.. he doesn't care either. Money is money and it doesn't matter who it's coming from since loyalty and customer satisfaction means nothing to this place I'll take both of mine somewhere else. read more

10 starssssss !!!! I absolutely love my lashes, it was quick and obviously painless. I wear usually wear strip lashes, but I got sick of putting them on every day so I decided to try these out. They are perfectly even, tinted, and sturdy. I've had the same set for two weeks i can still get another week out of them as they are all still intact. I wear a lot of face makeup and eyeshadow and even then my lashes are not clumpy or dirty. Very very satisfied client! read more

So let me first start by saying that I was a loyal customer for over a year...and I'm extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. I normally don't care who puts my eyelashes because all the girls are good...but since I'm always on the go, it's difficult for me to find time for myself so I go in as a walk-in. I went on December 30th to get s new set done because my other ones had been falling off already. I hate getting them removed with that liquid because it burns like hell. I get a new set every month. This time was different. The moment I got up I was having difficulty opening my right eye...but I went to the restroom and noticed that my left eyelash was droopy..it looked horrible. I spoke to receptionist and she had me go back so they can fix it. All they did was curl them, in which I had never done before. The eyelashes looked so fake being curled..I never asked for them to curl them. I walked to my car and sat there for a while because I was upset in what they had just done and then my right eye was hurting me. I eventually went home and had to run errands for New Years Eve party however within hours my right eye would not stop crying because it was in a lot of pain...I felt like something was poking me and it was hurting was too much. The only way I could not be in pain is keeping it closed. By the time I realized that this was not normal the shop was closed...I went to Sally's to try to find the liquid to removed them and they didn't have any. I wet to target and I was able to find a kit that had a little green bottle but it was not strong enough...I was in so much pain all night..the pain was so strong that it was giving me the worst headache...I immediately called the shop the next day and I explained and they said to come back...since it was New Years Eve they were very busy...the receptionist told me that they could just remove them since I was in that much pain and then come back another day since they were packed...I called on Saturday to try to schedule my set and then the receptionist told me that she would schedule me on Monday but she now needed to speak to the manager about it...I literally paid $33 to get tortured. I went back on Monday and they wanted me to pay half the price to get them out back on. Why? It wasn't my first time I had gotten them done..it was their technician who did a poor job and they want me to pay again...WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!!! They lost a loyal customer and I talked to highly of them and now I'm never going back..I will make sure I go and tell other people my story in person. read more

I should start off by saying I went to the Fontana location where Johnny himself works. And booked my appointment 5 days in advance. I scheduled my appointments directly with Laura herself. She is Johnny's assistant, she was extremely gracious and helpful. Answered all my questions gave me pricing upfront and texted me appointment confirmations and receipts. Also called the morning of appointment to confirm the time. I booked the eye brow micro blading & dramatic mink falsies eyelash extensions with weave base and sensitive glue. Ive had lashes in the past so i knew what questions to ask laura. And i also know what look i prefer and what to expect from different products. I have to say Im very happy with my results. The micro blading is a mild discomfort level around a bikini wax max. But it is short lived, laura is quick with the lidocaine. Johnny had a artistic meticulous touch with the shape and width before he started. Jasmine was quiet, quick and very gentle on my long voluminous lashes. Mink Lashes are very light and soft but feel very secure with the weave base. And waterproof sealer. read more

As a real lash artist/technician, I am disgusted with the work done at this spot. A friend of mine purchased a full set of lash extensions on Tuesday. It's only Thursday and my friend from out of the area called me to make a removal appointment because the extensions were poking at her eye. When she arrived and I had her patches taped under her eyes I began the removal process which normally takes 10 minutes. This took me 1 1/2 hours to remove the clusters( and by the way, volume lashes are supposed to be hand made fans, not Ardell clusters. For weight reasons this place is doing it all wrong and causing breakage of the natural lash) which by the way, my friend and client asked for individual extensions and even showed the "professional" a photo of what she wanted. I'm appalled at what I had to remove. You couldn't even comb through the lashes there was so much glue on them, not to mention they were GLUED TO HER SKIN!!! This is the biggest no no and can cause infection if not addressed soon enough. In the end I had to use half a bottle of adhesive remover. All and all, if you want to ruin your lashes and pay someone to give you "extensions" that you can do at home with Ardell cluster lashes. What a waste and a bad name for the real lash artists out there. read more

The girls at the chino hills one are good but lashes don't last and I've been getting them done since 2009 so I know how to take care of them and how long they're supposed to last. The girls at the riverside one need a few lessons on customer services skills. They're rude, have no personality and are extremely unprofessional. There was only one girl that I really liked but she left on maternity leave and hadn't been back yet, sucks. Overall I stopped going period because it's not worth paying money to people who are just plain rude. read more

I would like to add another comment to my previous comment. I had to go to the emergency room yesterday due to having conjunctivitis (red eye). This is an infection that I got from having these eyelashes put on. As I mentioned, the girls do not wash their hands between clients. This is very dangerous. For anyone that is having anything done to their eyes, such as makeup, or having eyelashes put on, make sure that the place is clean, and the staff either wash their hands or use gloves before applying anything on your eyes. The best thing to do is ask questions on how they sterilize their tools, and ask to use their restrooms before having anything done, and if their restrooms are dirty, make a beeline out the door! This ended up costing me an extra $150.00 for the emergency room and medication...not to mention the damage to my eyes...red eyes, and swollen eyes down to my cheeks. I hope this clears up by Christmas! read more

Horrible place. The girls there are not properly trained. My lashes were glued to my eyelid and the skin was pinched. The lashes started falling off in less than a week. The lashes were also very stiff because they used way too much glue. My eyes were constantly red and irritated. Went to Glamour Lash to have them removed and a new set put on. Got my first set of lashes here. My initial appt was a Tuesday morning and didn't really get much consultation or too many suggestions from the gal up front, as she seemed a bit overwhelmed at the morning rush. I asked the tech for a look that gave me more volume and length but more on the natural side than dramatic, super glam. When I left it just looked like I had a coat of mascara on my lashes. They looked ok, but later realized they weren't even and one eye looked fuller; also, a couple of them came off that night. I went back next afternoon and explained the issue and that I had expected a little bit more and wanted them evened out. The receptionist didn't say much, but a different tech helped me this time and said there wasn't much she could do to fix a new full set, but managed to do it well. I was happy with the final look. My main issue, like other reviewers, is a lack of customer service. The employees mostly seemed like they'd rather be elsewhere, and very minimally engaged with customers except for the most brief, necessary exchanges with them. They spent far more time interested in talking about their personal lives outside of work and generally trying to avoid interacting with clients. I even heard a couple of unprofessional, snappy, rude, irritated comments between a pair of the girls. Did not seem like a happy place to work. The prices are fine, I just wish it felt more welcoming and pleasant to be there. I'll have to shop around and see what else I find in the area, for next time. read more

I've come to this place a few times and they do a good job on the lashes however they are lacking in the customer service area. The girls on staff spend a lot of time talking and bsing instead of focusing on customers. You will easily have to wait at least thirty minutes if you're a walk in. I'd encourage you to try a different location for better service. This will probably be my last time at this location even though it's conveniently down the street from my house. read more

I'd give ZERO STARS if I could! This was my first (and last) time getting fake lashes. I opted for the individual mink lashes. I had four lashes that had already detached by the time I got home (within the hour). Their policy is that you can come back within four days and have any repaired for free, but who has time to be driving back the same day?! The majority of them had detached within five days (and I followed all their washing directions.) Oh, also...both my sister and I asked for natural, cat-eye looks, and we both walked out looking like RuPaul. Never again! read more

Walked in and they helped me right away. I went in to get my eyebrows done and the girl who helped me did an amazing job. I was really afraid to get my brows done because of how bad the last place I had gone to messed mine up. (I have a blank spot in the middle of my eyebrow because of the last place) the girl worked right around it and made sure not to make them too thin. Will definitely be going back. Good prices too. Came in for a full set and staff was friendly I selected the 3B's she told me they would feel tight for about a day and would loosen after a week it hadn't subsided. The glue was more on my eyelid than anything and ended up pulling my skin causing it to be pink and swollen. I went in a week later and the girl working the front desk was rude with the worst attitude. A staff member "fixed" them merely by taking off excess glue and freed my eyelid. 2 weeks later I went in for a fill and they look awful and feel awful! they are stuff and poke me because they weren't adhered right, are almost falling off and they didnt follow my lashline so it looks unnatural. I asked for them to be curled and they are already falling into eyesight. For $50 I expect more. The staff clearly isnt trained properly read more

This place is so hit-or-miss you can get the same set of eyelashes and that does not mean it's going to look the same or even remotely close every time, it really depends on who does your eyelashes because not everyone there is so great at it. The customer service has a lot of room for improvement. The customer service is very split down the middle some of the girls are very nice, and a handful of the girls almost make you feel like you're doing them a favor by walking in. read more

this is the worst plac ever! not only did they ruin my natural lashes but the individual lashes they put on me looked so fake and like plastic. they moved like one whole piece and the glue they used seemed like crazy glue!! every single woman leaving from this place had watery, red eyes...that should of been a warning for me to leave!!!! it looked liked they glued the lashes to my eyelids!! i am sure what they are doing is not legal or proper protocol for individual eyelash extensions, which was the most expensive lashes they had there. they also did clusters for a lot cheaper but it seemed as if they both looked the same. i am still trying to grow my natural lashes, never had i had this happen to me anywhere else and my natural lashes never fell out before. one more thing, my eyes were constantly irritated every single day...with every single blink!!! beware!!!!!!!! read more

i go get my lashes done at divine beauty in riverside. but she on vacation for a week. and my eyelashes was coming off. thats bcuz my granddaughter pulled it... it had already been 3 weeks since a touch up. so i ended up calling johnnys i asked if they can touch it and she said yes. so i get there and then the recep said umm i have to ask my manager. she comes back and says we cant do another persons work... im like its just glue... so i said fine. ill get the full set i told them look i get my lashes very full and long. and she said ok no worries. i said ok i want the butterfly but i want full just like the ones i have on now. so at the end i look at them and i did see that there sumwhat long. but very thin. the girl asks me do you like them. i said there nice but i said full. she said we can put more mascarra on. my eyes were already burning. i said no i want them fuller. my husband was with me and i said lets go. i get home and im not happy. i cant even tell there on. and my right eye has short ones. so like not even 16 hours later i called this morning as soon as they opened and i told her that these arent the ones i wanted i wanted thicker. she told me i would have to pay $10-$15 more... i was like wtf!!! i just paid you $48 and ur telling me no? she said well i have to ask my manager; another girl comes on and i said who am i speaking too? she said o im not allowed to say my name to you. im like ok. so i tell her the same thing. she said well the manager not here yet. ur gunna have to call when she here. i said can i give u my # and u can call me? she said umm okaay.... that was at 9am. its now 1030am. she said her manager was on her way.... so in reality they give u alot to chose from but then u tell them and they do the way they want. i gave them a try and i knew i should of just walked out when they said they cant just put glue. sad part is me and about 10 of my family and friends get them done. and few need touch ups. i told them hell no just put falsy on until divine beauty comes back next week. so now im assed out $almost 50 bucks and they cant even add fuller? i can understand if it had been a few days but it was just yesterday. funny that wen u walk in there sweet as can be but when u have a very minor concern they bite u...im almost positive i wont get a call back. so im assed out $50. my girl at divine beauty will fix me back up. im so sorry that i went to johnny's lashes. i will never go there again. im sooo pissed that my lashes look like shit. i dont want to give a star at all. read more
