Slow, slow, slow and condescending salespeople. Stick with Nordstrom. They also carry Johnny Was if you must.

Eileen Fisher: comfortable fit, price tag reflects the quality you are buying. Think "Coastal…read moreGrandma" style of natural fabrics, comfort, neutral colors. Before the pandemic I wore all Black tailored clothing with sky high heels to work every day. Then the pandemic. Career switch. Working from home. No need for uncomfortable "hard" clothes or high heels. I still want to be stylish even if comfort is my motivation. Eileen Fisher outfits is that for me and Nordstrom is where I shop for it because unlike the EF store, at Nordstrom I can also buy bras and shoes in the same trip) Nordstrom has outfitted me through the many chapters of my life starting from my teen years. I continue to enjoy the consistent top tier customer service, wonderfully curated options in store, on site tailoring, and their generous return policy. I used to have a Nordstrom personal shopper. Then I was a member of The Trunk. Now I am considering the option to have Nordstrom brought to my home so I can try and buy things without going to the physical location. Stonestown and downtown SF used to be my primary stores. Now it's Corte Madera. This store is so well stocked, I almost never hear "I can order it online". I enjoy the instant gratification of taking my purchases home with me on the same day. The majority of my wardrobe was purchased at Nordstrom. I am a loyalist. PS: don't sleep on Nordstrom Rack at the Vintage Mall. If you aren't local, Nordstrom Rack online is so great for money saving designer options!

There's something about this store that is a bit extra, in a great way. I've been going to this…read morestore for years, not as my go-to, but usually when I'm in the area. I just feel like the product selection here is better. For instance, the Hokas - what they had on display were actually nice colors, not just those weirdly bright ones, but aesthetically pleasing ones. I also feel that in general, they have a wide variety of selection for all their products. They have a really good shoe selection. Service is excellent too. I was helped pretty quickly without waiting to do a return. I'm really not sure why people aren't happy with this Nordstrom! It really is wonderful!!

Oh boy! Where do I begin? How about Candice and her odd behaviors. First time we did the dance of…read more"are you friendly " was when she came up asking if she can take loads of stuff I picked towards the counter. This way I can continue to shop. Hey...I am all about free hands to roam. So I said "SURE!" Her vibes were not exactly cool but I am not here to make friends so whatever. Well....here is the problem. Candice repeated about 4 times when she ringed me up that these items are "FINAL SALES!" Holy Hell Candice! I didn't know we are in that deep of relationship where before you insulting me. You haven't even given me a chance to do anything but feeling unwanted, unworthy of this purchase. I mean that is one smooth I am going to judge you without having so many words exchanged. To say it like either I don't understand English to maybe I am one of those Asian that like to buy sales shit and return it. I buy sales because my husband is recovering from cirrhosis, Candice! His clothes don't fit properly so sales clothes make it easier to have him in. Nice enough to wear while he is recovering but not too bad if he gained his weight back and I need to give it away. Attachment to clothing is not my taste and to be honest. Jcrew used to be better back in 2010. The value is decent and pretty reasonable for what it is. I will like to stated that she handed me my receipt with "Final Sales" to our departure last word. If you are not young, white and with privilege of looking expensive from daddy's credit cards. You are shit out of luck!

The item was sold out, hence why I never received it. I went into the store hoping they could handle the call for me with customer service. And they did just that while I shopped. I gave them the order number, and not only did they track it down, they were able to get me a $20 voucher without me having to ask. Lovely shopping experience.

Happy Earth Day 2026!…read more If you're a data driven person like me, you know or will look up the tons of clothing that are polluting the planet. Solution? Resell or donate the things you no longer find useful, no longer want, and/or no longer bring you joy. The beauty of being a stylish woman? Someone out there wants the things I don't. They really REALLY do. Create space in your wardrobe and jewelry box, get some cash in your bank account, it's all good. Reaching out to The RealReal to start your consignment has never been easier. Once you contact a representative, they can send someone to you home, send a truck to do a front door pickup, or email you a label to ship the items you want to sell. So convenient! Once they receive the items, you will receive notification. They will have their experts review the items authenticity, photograph them, and list them. You will get a link to watch your items as they launch and sell. The cash lands in the account of your choice. Your beautiful things are now someone elses beautiful things with renewed positive energy. It's all so very wonderful and you saved those things from clogging the landfills and littering the planet. It's a win win, my favorite!

I purchased what I believed were authentic Christian Louboutins from The RealReal, but the heel…read moreheight felt off too high. Since I had missed the return window, I listed them on Facebook Marketplace--only for the listing to be immediately flagged as fake. That raised a red flag, so I took the shoes to a well-respected designer consignment store in San Francisco. Their authentication expert pointed out three separate signs that the shoes were not genuine. So, not real real after all. When I took the shoes to The RealReal in Larkspur, I was directed to a text-based chat with a "specialist" who told me that because the return window had passed, there was nothing they could do. I'm now out over $400 for two pairs ( one with a broken heel that they said I should have come in right away about). Extremely disappointed. A company that claims to care about luxury and sustainability should at the very least stand behind the authenticity of what it sells. This experience makes me seriously question their values.
