Even before my time, this business was still open. With my existence, I made this stop a couple of years back and I like it a lot. There is plenty of seating located inside and plenty of room to move around. The staff is very welcoming when entering, and have the option of sitting anywhere you want. Sometimes it may take a bit for a sever to come due to the high volume of customers, especially on the weekends, so planning accordingly is very important. I've gotten a couple of different foods throughout my visit, including the Route 66, Orginal, and Houston Burgers. All of them were very tasty from the bun to the bottom bun, and of course the meat. I find these burgers to be very good in terms of in a dinner setting. Try their burgers. The milkshakes is definitely another go-to here, which is very good. There are many different flavors to choose from, with having seasonal drinks, such as Pumpkin Spice. It's very good and flavorful. I opt for the vanilla quite a lot when I come here. Fab We are visiting Nanuet for Thanksgiving and headed over to the Palisades Mall for some lunch. The mall has lots of food choices, but as soon as I spotted Johnny Rockets I started campaigning for that as our lunch stop. It was our first visit to this location. It was swell and I was on cloud 9, even if I didn't even get a shake. That would have made the visit even more boss. As it was, I had a single Route 66 burger and ordered a cheese and bacon fries for the table. The burger was delicious, the onions quite sweet. We all enjoyed the fries, it is a very large serving, plenty for the three of us. Service was unreal. It wasn't very busy on our off time visit and our server kept a good eye on us, being there promptly for drink refills, bringing the bill, etc. We all got ketchup face drawings in our bowls for ketchup, cute. The hamburger and French fries were delicious, but the six piece chicken tenders turned out to be the processed chicken patty--ew. I was a little cautious coming in here based on several of the harsh reviews on this very site, but decided to try this place anyway for my own take. I respect everyone's experiences, but my experience here was just fine and nothing at all like I read it could be. It wasn't overly crowded (which is always good for me) and we were allowed to choose our seating. The booth was clean and the menus came instantly. I get the theme here, but the menu was basic diner-ish and the theme really meant nothing different to me aside from the decor of the place. Ordered my usual bacon cheeseburger here. Also ordered the cheesy bacon fries. The burger was good and was what I expected - though the lettuce leaf was huge and I just took it out. The cheesy bacon fries were good - and I ordered the same fries from a Shake Shack earlier in the week and these were better and had actual bacon in it and not bacon bits. The prices were what they were and there were no surprises when the bill came. The waitress and I believe the manager were both friendly and there were no unreasonable wait times. We were checked on frequently enough. The service was fast enough and efficient. Located in the Palisades mall. Overall a nice spot in the mall (and a better option than the fast food or some of the actual restaurants on the 4th floor. I would come back and will. read more

I always ignored this place for what to be historically racist nostalgia. Turns out, they make great chicken, burgers and cheese fries.

It has been a while since I've gone to Johnny Rockets to be able to have a meal. At the location of Palisades center mall, it's a nice small restaurant where I can be able to sit down and get myself a decent meal. Establishment was quite clean and waiting staff was very welcoming and friendly. The only thing negative I have to say is that I wasn't really too thrilled about the Philly cheesesteak and fries meal. The french fries were OK and the only thing I could be able to say that I was very happy to try was there a vegan vanilla shake. I am very happy that Johnny Rockets has not incorporated a menu for vegetarians and vegans. This by itself will make it more welcoming to those people who have an alternative choice against meat. My three star rating will stay for right now and maybe I will change it when I visit this location to again. This was a OK experience and I'll see what happens again and I'm going to try the vegetarian option and see how good it is. read more

The employes here are really nice and friendly, with the wait for our food and seating being fairly quick. I got a grilled cheese which I thought was deliscious. My parter getting a burger with caramalized onions which he thought the onions could have been a bit more caramalized, but still ate it up and thought it was a good burger. The staff gives you small plates that they drawy smily faces on with ketchup for your fries, which I think is adorable. read more

This place has decent food but man is the service shitty!! Me and my lady stood at the door for 10 minutes and no one came to seat us. There were plenty of tables open so we sat ourselves. Another 10 minutes went by and my lady had to get up to request that we get service. A waitress came over and said that we weren't supposed to sear ourselves and we explained that no one came to seat us and she continued to say that we were wrong and even caught an attitude. So we finally get service, order our food and it was pretty decent but no one came to see if we needed anything else. My lady had to walk to the bar to request another glass of water. We got our check and of course they received no tip and got upset that we didn't leave them one. I will never be visiting this place again! They have inadequate staff that just seemed miserable. I haven't been to a Johnny Rockets in forever so i was excited to come here. We got seated in silence, no hello or anything from the waitress. Then it took her almost 10 minutes to get back to us when the place was close to empty... We placed our whole order, including drinks which was just waters and a milk shake. The cups were dirty with stuff floating on the insides of the water, gross. Asked for bottles of water because of the dirty cups, and they surprisingly charged us for the waters. i understand it's bottled water but after serving a customer with dirty cups you would think they may be considerate enough to offer the bottle water on the house or something. The food was not much better, burger was okay just had to take the half of an onion off, but the fries tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a long time. The milk shake was okay, kept getting chunks of ice but a milkshake is a milkshake and will always be good to me. Quite disappointed with the visit here and will not be coming back. read more

I received the order at 5:12 p.m. this was more than 30 minutes past the expect the time. I reached out to seamless customer service and all they sent me was a 10% coupon off the next order and failed to rectify the existing order. I called in to Johnny rockets restaurant and spoke to Humberto. I asked him specifically to redo the order after he clearly stated that the order had been sitting there for over 20 minutes pending the delivery driver Lionel. I only went here twice in my whole life time and i dont really see myself fully making this place one of my go-to's. We went here because my girlfriend said if you eat a meal here you are eligible for cheaper movie tickets. So why not, get a meal and get cheaper tickets! So we ate here. I ordered the route 66 burger. It was good but it definitely wasn't anything i would drool over or have cravings for. What i did like is the chili cheese fries. HOLY COW were those good. That is probably the only driving force for me to come back to this place. And surprisingly enough i didn't get the shits from it! I did like the music they were playing in there because of the change of pace/taste. Def not a go to place for me, but its solid. If you do see me there ever, i will be having the chili cheese fries. PS: ONE REALLY BIG NEGATIVE: For some reason, there were a few flies everywhere. LIke fruit flies or something. Thats what i remembered that disgusted me the most. Omg. This weekend my boyfriend popped my Johnny Rockets cherry & boy was I happy. I can't believe I've never been. Anyway.... I ordered a cookies and cream shake,while my boyfriend got a strawberry crumb or crust. (sorry I forgot the name) I HATE anything strawberry flavored except for the real fruit. . It turns out their salad was perfectly reasonable - grilled chicken on par w/TGIF kinds of places and definitely a cut above McDonald's. Staff at this restaurant seems to be miserable or don't like their job. I went with my 2 kids ( as per request ) We sat for about 15 minutes nobody came to take our orders, my kids were starving.
