Get the money and run?…read more I had the Paint Guy paint my foyer this past fall in warm neutral shades. The consultation and price was very professional and fair. I loved that Aaron incorporated a very small detail in his logo that reflected his faith as a Christian. The job took a day and a half and looked very professional until the next day (when it was completedly dry), I had two areas that needed touched up and made crisper (I had an accent wall that needed cleaned up on the cut in, and a small area that somehow gotten missed by the paint brush/roller). I notified Aaron of my concern and was contacted rather quickly and he came out to look at it, he told me it was the lighting to shadows being on the wall and he could try to clean up the cut in, but he had a really unsteady hand and made it worse. After that dried I contacted him again and told him I was still dissatisfied, it wasn't the lighting or shadows, it needed to be cleaned up. He replied to my email saying he would take care of me after the Labor Day weekend. I waited to hear back from Aaron to no avail, and then began emailing him. I received a reply from his wife stating he had been injured (the cause/or condition was unspecified) and I would be contacted shortly after he returned to work. I let several weeks go by before following up again, no reply! I wondered/worried if he became disabled, paralyzed, or if the business had closed or went under because no one replied to my several emails and phone calls, I went as far as contacting my lawyer for counsel and was advised to give him another chance, and I did! Still NO REPLY! So, three months later I'm sitting in McDonald's parking lot in Pickerington near Target, a car pulls out of a parking space revealing The Paint Guy's truck! Low and behold here comes Aaron (shut the front door! Aaron IS alive, and well!!!) walking out of McDonald's in good condition (as I can see) to the truck, gets in and drives off... I was amazed! I couldn't get out of my car and wait for traffic fast enough to catch up to him. I'm so disappointed! If he would've simply followed up with me and corrected the issue, I would've rated him a 5! Now I'm in the process of getting estimates of other professional painters to come and correct his mistake/negligience ~ more money spent.

I gave them a referral and that project was completed and paid for but they refused to honor the offer regarding the $200 certificate after repeated calls, voicemails, and texts.
