I'm giving five stars, but there are a few caveats. Eddy does great work for what I thought would…read morehave been a lot costlier garage door replacement (he quoted probably half of what I was imagining), and there's no question about that. But because of his quality and value, there is great demand for his services, so it did take a couple weeks to finally get an appropriate time to actually replace the garage door. So I wouldn't mind paying 25-50% more (especially since they offer financing) if he did so choose for a faster service. He even threw in a free lock for the garage. It wasn't an emergency to me, so that probably colors my review. But seriously, dude, you can probably raise your prices just a bit more, and I think most people would be happy.

Super nice to start off with. Seemed helpful and said he had the garage door opener to replace my…read moreexisting opener that stopped working. I sent them photos of the garage door opener and whole area so they could see that the garage door was oversize and a normal garage door opener and rails would not work. We even discussed that the unit was for an oversized set up. He gave a reasonable price for just the head unit and we scheduled the work. 1st appointment - had to re-schedule as they couldn't make it. 2nd appointment - finally made it out and looked at the unit and said what he had wouldn't work and said he would need to get pricing from his manufacturer for whole new setup. I mentioned that we talked about it being a larger garage door before he even came out. Why didn't he tell me up front that what he had in his warehouse wouldn't work? It's been days and haven't heard from him. I guess if he can't sell you an old stock warehouse garage door opener, then he wants nothing to do with you. I feel like this was a bait and switch situation as the other companies were more expensive. I've texted him several times and have not heard back. At the very least, ANY communication could have prevented this review. Oh well, on to the next company!

Apologies to Mike and his team for this delayed compliment…read more ****I cannot recommend them enough**** I diagnosed my mother-in-laws garage door opener failure(bad circuit board causing random openings). I could not order it online, but Mike could. He educated me about openers. His team went out and assessed her problem. I was right but there was a major spring problem about to cause havoc. This cautious, skeptical M-I-L was immediately at ease. She praised how nice and friendly the gentleman was. Mike called me at work to discuss everything first. The cost was greater than her budget. He stood by his father work ethic of helping the elderly. He offered post-date check payments if needed. I appreciated his kind, thoughtful offer, but paid the difference. A follow-up call was needed, and they were right out. Just a keypad program glitch. Again she was pleased, and asked for cards herself to pass out to neighbor senior friends. When my own mother came up with a problem a couple months later. I self diagnosed it, ordered the $1.50 part off Amazon, and failed. Call a professional. Call Mike. Now,that new part(plastic) caused more damage. Mike arranged a time with my mothers hectic volunteer schedule. They came right out and evaluated the situation. She had a weak, cheap unit in her condo that struggled with a 2 car door. A new, more quality model was chosen, and installed. Once again, this time my mother raved about the friendly, helpful crew. ***Hint*** Look at your opener frame rail. Is it one piece, or multiple pieces connected together? That's your first red flag on quality. Did you know lesser grade plastic parts, gears, and materials are sold in the same model number in box hardware stores? Behind the scenes.. Since Mike was doing every kind hearted thing he could on both our mothers service calls, we added on by asking to pay for a PM inspection. In both cases we were not charged, because neither needed it. Honesty goes a long way. When it comes to "Who do you trust for your mother", call Mike.
