I mentioned that we talked about it being a larger garage door before he even came out. Why didn't he tell me up front that what he had in his warehouse wouldn't work? It's been days and haven't heard from him. I guess if he can't sell you an old stock warehouse garage door opener, then he wants nothing to do with you. I feel like this was a bait and switch situation as the other companies were more expensive. I've texted him several times and have not heard back. Doing a quick internet search it appeared that a spring had broken. I called several different repair services and was quoted $1200+ for the repair. I finally called CD Doors in Westerville and spoke to Chris. He asked that I text pictures of my door and the spring mechanism, made a quick diagnosis and quoted me a price 1/2 of what other repair services offered. Chris arrived first thing the next morning, thoroughly explained and showed me the problem and repair, then got to work.
