DO NOT COME HERE. Worst place. We took a weed eater to get fixed. Came back and the whole thing was disassembled. Didn't fix anything in fact, they broke it and refused to fix it and still charged us $40. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Look elsewhere. read more

I visited Sorola's yesterday at noon, wearing my covid mask while on a mission for a Stihl leaf blower. To my surprise, they had the full line of Stihl professional leaf blowers on display. Not only that, they had full line of RedMax, Echo and Shindawa leaf blowers as well. I pretty much knew what I wanted and was pleased that they had the Stihl BR800X on display. I decided to look at the other brands while I was there, as I had been researching for the past two weeks and viewings LOTS of YouTube reviews from lawn maint. people. I like their system, as you take a number when they're busy and they tend to customers in an organized way. One of the employees approached me and offered assistance without being pushy. I told him that I was interested in the Stihl 800, but couldn't decide between the C or X models. I asked if they by chance had an 800C. He replied that they did have one in the back, but still boxed. He asked another employee to unbox the 800C and bring it out to the floor so that I could look over it. He explained it would be about 10 minutes, so I continued browsing. Another employee who was very courteous came out and chatted with me as I waited. Sure enough, the 800C was brought out. I looked over it and asked a few questions, as I had already researched it and even downloaded the user manual at home to familiarize myself with its features and maint. info. I decided to buy it while I was there, since everything was going so well. While the employee was processing my sale, he asked if I wanted to buy any oil or motomix. I asked him about oil. He commented that Stihl had a current offer for new purchasers. If you buy a 6-pack of 2.6oz Stihl 2 cycle oil, your warranty is automatically extended for two years. Yes, TWO years. I jumped on that as the oil was $14.99. I now have a 4 year warranty. When the sale was completed, the employee who unboxed and assembled the leaf blower, then filled the tank with fuel and finished prepping it with a couple of minor details. He also carried it out to my car for me. Man, what a great experience at Sorola's. I've gone to them during the past 20 years on occasion for maintenance and repairs of lawn equipment, but had never bought anything there. I've read some of the negative reviews, but can't say I've ever been treated rudely or ignored. While I was there, there were a couple of customers who were only browsing for now and had many questions. I noticed they were treated very courteously and never pressed to buy anything. Employees answered all their questions and explained options as well. I was extremely satisfied with my experience and highly recommend that you visit Sorola's if you're shopping around for lawn equipment or accessories. So I had dropped off a Shindaiwa T27 & if your ole school you'll know that this machine is fantastic and worth hanging onto. I had dropped it off with clear instructions that no matter the cost to repair it . After a month of waiting & though they did a fabulous job in repairing my Commercial Bobcat mower which I had dropped of first they hadn't repaired it because they wanted to know if I wanted it repaired because it was gonna cost the price of a new one . HELLO , FIX IT NO MATTER WHAT we're my instructions when I dropped it off . ok , so yes today I spoke w a lady and yes I repeated myself that I needed that unit ASAP because I dropped it off in reasonable time . They didn't call me to let me know that the cost was high , even though I clearly stated to repair it no matter what . On another note , they had repaired an older Shindaiwa single sided hedge trimmer and it to was the price of a new one & they did a great job . I still trust their mechanic service 100% . Now to see how long the back order on parts & when they can quickly repair it STAT. Am I teed off about the oversight ? Yeppers but they are trustworthy for their service & I'll just carry on . If only they would have some units for rental for times such as this ? Cause , I'm gonna have to go back to Home Depot and rent another weed eater . PROBST !! ‍ read more

Had my riding lawnmower picked up....driver tried starting lawnmower...didn't start...claimed it was battery cause it locked up....next day I get a call that there is nothing wrong with lawnmower....started right up " all we did was step on clutch".....who's paying for my services cause it's ready....obviously there is something wrong if your driver couldn't started....so called insurance & he claims he did a diagnostic test but I can't get copy....seriously? Wish I had read Yelp before letting go of lawnmower. Lesson learned!!! read more

Rip off! The chainsaw quit working--the fuel lines were bad. It ran, as long as the fuel line was in the fuel, but the old line was brittle and breaking off, a bit at a time. Obvious fix--replace the fuel lines. Simple, right? NO! They demand a $32.50 charge, up front, plus tax--total $35.16. OK, I paid it. I asked the tech "how much to replace the fuel lines?"--he says:"$32.50"--cool, I've already paid--done, right? NOPE! When I go to pick it up, they now want more--why? "PLUS PARTS"--not mentioned at the time I dropped it off--I tried to discuss that--no way! If you don't pay, then you don't get your item back--tagged on another 10 bucks-- And the woman yelled at me when I asked to speak to the manager--"you have to pay"--"the manager is not here--you can come back in a couple of days and maybe he will be here then"--???? At the advice of several people, I came here for a Stihl weed eater. Immediately, an employee asks to help me. The weed eater I wanted was not going to work for me - he showed me an alternative which was perfect! It was slightly higher in price (this was not an upsell) but perfect for my needs. I was in and out quickly and the customer service was the best! And I like that they're an old, local business. read more
