My Craftsman lawnmower took a beating over the past 3 years. I used ethanol gasoline and you know what that does to an engine. I never changed the spark plug or the oil. I ran over numerous rocks and sidewalks. I treated my machine so poorly, it nearly died. I'm just the worse. I attempted to hire a mobile lawn more repair service but they dropped the ball. Fortunately, I found Araiza Small Engine repair. They were professional in every sense of the word. They were pleasant to work with. The receptionist was vivacious and charming. Their work is impeccable. And their pricing is better than most. I can't ask for more. I highly recommend you take your machine to them for service and repair. My machine was on life support. I brought in a woodchipper to have a carburetor installed. I was told it would be about 2 to 3 weeks before they would have a chance to look at it It was 2 months before they took a look at it then another month to get the carburetor in and installed. Was hoping to be using it in the cool mornings of April finally got to use it in heat of June, I thank you for that. I did also think the repair guy was rather rude when I went pick up the machine but thats the only part of my review that's my opinion. read more

I went to Araiza's when the lawn business down the street would not help me. I couldn't get the bolt on my lawn mower loose. I called a different place on Austin highway and was treated very badly. They were very rude. I called Araiza's and she told me to bring my lawn mower to their shop and someone would help me. They didn't even want to charge me any money, but I paid them anyway. These are good people who you can take your mower to and not feel like you are doing something wrong. I will never return to the other repair shop on Austin Hwy!! read more

After utterly striking out with three different small engine repair shops in San Antonio, I have finally found my go to spot to fix my mower, weed whacker, blower, etc. To begin, the staff here is super friendly and completely honest. You never get the feeling they are trying to just fix stuff that will later go wrong within a couple months time. They brought me the bad news about my completely finished weed whacker and didn't run up the till with costly repairs. They are also super honest about when they are going to get your machine done and seem to under promise and over deliver. In short, go here for all small engine repairs. read more

Took my chainsaw in for a tune-up, was told 2 weeks. I ended up calling after three weeks, that mechanic was out sick, and they were not aware of what he did to it or how much he had done. They said they would get another tech to work on it. An hour later was told it was ready, went the next day the owner could not even get it started. Left without it. Have not heard from them since. I called today 4-2-2018..12 times and won't answer phone. First and last time I bring something here, I read the reviews and it is totally the opposite. Still waiting for them to answer their phone or hoping they will call me. read more
