Wow! Talk about SERVICE! Was going to drop off a weed eater for a carburetor kit and new gas lines the other disintegrated. He says if you drop it off, it's gonna be two weeks to 10 days, he said do you have 10 minutes and I said of course he fixed it while while I waited thank you very much. Great experience with Greg at Big T's while purchasing a go cart for our grandson. We recommend Big T's Small Engine Repair for sales and service. read more

I left this place about 10 minutes ago and I'm still disgusted. He quite literally took 2 minutes to do the "free" estimate on my small 2500 watt generator. And literally under 2 minutes after taking off the cover he pushed on the carburetor accelerator inside and it started to run correctly. At first he was joking and said it would be $85 and we both laughed. Then in all seriousness he said $20. Now I thought it was worth 5 to $10 perhaps even though in my own business I do much more work for people and don't charge them for for something so trivial. I also respect the fact that knowledge is money. But in this case it was a total rip off and his labor rate would have had to been $600 an hour to justify this abomination. So if you do decide to go here aside from the fact that this guy is located in a residential neighborhood and there's no parking, hold on to your wallet, because this business thinks they're obviously worth way more than they're actually worth. read more

I have a Ryobi 18v String Trimmer and the trigger/motor stopped working consistently when depressed (less than a year old). Big Ts was listed as a Ryobi Service Center. I pulled up to Big Ts, and they acknowledged and assisted me within a minute. They assessed my trimmer (motor not repairable), filed a claim while I waited. I texted them the receipt the same night (forgot to bring it), and the next day they gave me a status update that Ryobi would be sending me a new trimmer. Big Ts was efficient, honest with me, and got-r-done! Thanks fellas! read more

I called on 19 March 2025 to get my mower blades sharpened. I was quoted $5 a blade to get them sharpened. When I arrived, I had him recount the blades; I had 31 instead of 30. He said he would not charge for the extra blade, although I was willing to pay. They wanted the money upfront, which differed from the businesses I typically deal with. I spent the $150 ($120 in cash and $30 on my card). After I paid, he said finishing them would take an hour. I received a call shortly after leaving that the blades were ready. When I returned to this young man's shop, I looked at the blades and was very disappointed. Once I told him these were not sharp, as i was rubbing my finger up and down the blade in front of him, he came up with multiple reasons why. One of the excuses was a safety issue, which made no sense since only a handful of blades had been sharpened before. I requested my money back, and he said no, then offered to sharpen them and return them to me on Saturday, 22 March. To that, I replied "is this the best you can do"; he tried to avoid the question so I asked him again. Once he said it was, I told him I wouldn't be wasting any more of my time or money on him and to expect this Google review. After I posted my initial review (yes, this is the second), he replied and said everything was a lie, attempting to discredit the review. Upon reading his reply, I texted him to tell him that libel is actual. He refused to tell the truth, and I added to my review, which, at the time, I didn't know businesses could delete Google reviews if edited. It mysteriously disappeared once I edited the review to reply to his statements. He claimed to have a video of sharpening 31 blades in less than an hour. My recommendation is for him to post the video he claims to have of him sharpening the blades. This company is unethical, has no integrity, and has shown they do not know how to sharpen mower blades. The rest of the review I left on 24 Mar 2025 is below: After reading his response to my review and doing a quick Google search, I uncovered additional reviews on Yelp that echo my concerns. His reply reveals a disturbing lack of accountability. He appears unethical, unprofessional, and profoundly uninformed about sharpening mower blades. He boasts about having a video that demonstrates his process, so I challenge him to share it. This would showcase his supposed skills and serve as an effective advertisement for his services. Out of the 31 blades he claims to have sharpened, not one is even remotely usable. Before leaving, I documented several of these blades in pictures (which I have previously shared), and I will include more below. Not a single blade has an edge; instead, he carelessly ground the wrong side to give the illusion of having done something. Before, he claimed that he had never seen any of these blades; this is about $1000 in mower blades in the box accumulated over 3 years. I am a rational person, and my company is too. To that, no one I know will utilize their time to get or find 31 (EGO) blades and post pictures of sub-par craftsmanship of a company they have never heard of before. So, to help him out just a little, I live in a very rocky area, and this is 3 years of blades. Out of the 31 blades, eight had been previously sharpened. So, immediately after looking at these blades, I knew they weren't sharpened correctly. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and as you can see, there are no safety issues. As a veteran with experience working alongside many businesses and individuals, I would be very cautious. After I posted my honest and factual review, he resorted to lies, attacked my character, and displayed an utter lack of integrity. This behavior is unacceptable. It's a wake-up call for him to reflect on his actions and improve his business practices. read more

I was a little skeptical when Ryobi sent me to Big T's For a repair on a power washer. I should have been more skeptical of Ryobi instead- Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised with Big T. He answered the phone on the first call, and told me what I needed to complete a warranty claim. He submitted my claim, and communicate communicated with me within one day. My unit was not repairable, and it is being replaced by the manufacturer. Quick, fast, service. Will return for a future business. read more

He fixed my friends mower never used it and it won't start and he said it' needs repair again

very unprofessional. brought in a chainsaw to simply have the carburetor kit i purchased elsewhere put on. was told that the carburetor kit i bought in would not work. even though i had verified that it would work just fine on the model chainsaw i broughtin! he took one look at the carburetor kit, said it's not one that he sells so it wouldn't work. at first he said that he wouldn't even install it; then he chages his story and said he would install it but no warranty. he buys his parts most likely from the same china manufacturer!! but was claiming that if someone brings in parts for mowers, chainsaws, etc., that they are defective and won't work. silly man trying to mark up his chinese parts 100% (or more). stay clear. finally got the chainsaw back. and yes, it works just fine. read more
