A recent mishap with a friend, using a very expensive piece of glass of mine, left me shaking my head and wondering how in the hell I was gonna get this thing fixed... after a few phone calls to other shops in the area and a call to a friend who is a glass blower / the one recommended over and again was Jason at Glass House. I called to see about getting a quote for the repair, and the gentleman who answered said yes they could most likely fix it and to bring it by. I took my glass project in that afternoon and just as quoted earlier dropped my broken piece off with them for said repair. The price quoted was cheap by comparison to replacement. They are busy and it takes a few weeks to get your project back but I am in line and hope to have my repaired fixture back in a few weeks and will update with a final evaluation of the repair. 4 Stars - the only repair game in town 00718

Live demonstrations and works being created are always going on during their normal business day. A great shop with great people running it and definitely worth a visit and stop by to say hello and add a new piece of glass art to your collection. When I contacted them to notify them I was dissatisfied with the the final result and requested a refund I was charged a 25% restocking fee for something that was never in stock to begin...how does that make sense? I started with my findings because I didn't want to forget so I didn't have much at this point. I was browsing for a while, then went to the counter and found something I wanted, was helped with it and and wanted to see something else but was interrupted by two women who wanted help putting together their necklaces. The clerk did not stop them and say she would be with them in a minute, nor did she look at me and say excuse me, she just abandoned me and left me standing there. I interjected at one point and asked to see a certain bead I was looking at on the string instead of individually. She said "we don't have any of those" and proceeded to help the girls that had interrupted me. Um, I was looking right at what she said "don't have any of". When she was done with the girls she looked at me and said, "I am taking my break" and left. So, I was just standing there with my things in hand at the counter with no one to help me. I waited a few minutes put my tray on the counter and left. I don't know if somehow I gave the impression I wasn't serious because I had a couple of meager findings, or if I wasn't an enthusiastic young person needing help with a necklace, but I was looking to buy some good quality beads while I was in town but was treated like I didn't matter.

I…read morelearned that when I went to Pot-Pourri this afternoon about another matter and Max told me Michael's name and location, writing it down for me on a card. I love that octopus, which sits on a small cabinet next to the wire sculpture Tammy commissioned for us for our wedding anniversary in September of the same year. You can see photos of them together next to the telephone. They give me pleasure whenever I look at them. I got out of Pot-Pourri w/o buying anything more, despite the wonderful selection and huge temptation.
