Reached them today and I described the woman who took my order and asked the new owners to ask for her & their response was basically well the appraisals were not on your receipt so you are just out of luck. We don't care what you say you were promised. They didn't even ask the employee- who was so nice. They also have a large wall of food items, from companies in Humboldt County, including bagel toppings from Los bagels, marinara sauce from Tomaso's. , (I don't know if this is the same Tomaso's that ran the tomato pie restaurant or not...) and lots of other things. The owner has a very friendly, cute dog and you can bring yours in as long as your dog gets along with other ones. There's an array of stuff here, my friends bought pants there and they love them. There's a tons of shirts and sweatshirts with cool designs on them that are really good quality. There's a lot of art and jewelry from local artists, and there's really unique things like a rolling pin that says "I like big buns" and some really cool etched glassware. The owner told us that she's a screenprinter and she prints on stuff and that's how she opened the shop. She had friends make designs and she would put them on things. Super nice owner with great quality stuff. If I'm in the area I'll definitely be back.
