This corner storefront gallery showcases Redwood Art Association members' works in a variety of…read moremedia, though represented mostly by painters and photographers there is the occasional sculptor, milliner or three dimensional artist showing. Members are from all over the area inside the Redwood Curtain. Monthly exhibitions are open to paying dues members, and the first submission is free with additional pieces costing $20 each. The venue is staffed by volunteer members, and the gallery is open normal retail business hours. With artists receptions aligning with the Eureka Arts Alive monthly program. There are as well a few small separate open "Studio" spaces within the building for artist members to rent at a minimal fee as well for those artisans wanting a retail exhibition space to display their art works. This RAA gallery is a very nice space to show and view art works from all over the area under one roof. Better than some and probably not as good as it could be.
