They recommended my husband get a filling the next visit, (spoiler alert, our new dentist, didn't see a problem with that tooth.) Final straw, they recommended I get a crown on a tooth that was not hurting, and I could not see what they were talking about on the Xray, which would cost me over $500. Done! Found a new dentist. My new dentist DID NOT recommend a crown, they replaced the filling and I still have my $500. (FYI, new dentist does not recommend a night guard to either of us).

I had a lot of questions about what I was seeing in the X-rays and the answers weren't satisfactory; he was pushy and against my better judgement I let him drill the one (I had never previously had a cavity). This caused a lot of anxiety and hadn't been to the back to the dentist since until today. As for the 5-6 others, it has been 8yrs, I finally just went back. I have only 1 small cavity now that just started to form. Get a copy of your X rays and get a second opinion. There are online services that do that now.
