My elderly mother recently had a consult with Dr. Garden, in preparation for her getting dentures…read more The doctor explained to her what the process would be like and was very patient and answered all of our questions because my mother was a little anxious about the process. He explained that there were certain things she had to do before we could move forward and schedule the extractions. The front desk staff, Shannon specifically, was also phenomenal. From the moment I called to place the appointment and asked her many questions, to when we arrived, and she helped get us checked in and settled, she was great. Very friendly and personable, but also very knowledgeable and professional. This dentist is obviously very popular based on the amount of people that were there. However, even though he was running behind, the staff kept us informed and were still very efficient. But despite that, he did not rush us, and he answered all of our questions. If you need to have any teeth extracted, and you find him on your own or get a referral, I would not hesitate to reach out because it was a very positive experience, and we definitely feel more comfortable about returning when my mother is ready to have her teeth extracted.

I was referred by my dentist and had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. In the meantime, I…read morerepeatedly called every week to try to get an earlier slot, but it was not possible. On the day of my appointment, I was scheduled for 12:00, but I was kept waiting without any explanation or update until 12:45. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. The examination itself felt very rushed. The doctor briefly looked at my upper right tooth using a tongue depressor and spent about 5 minutes discussing possible extractions. Normally, a dental mirror is used for proper examination of teeth, so the lack of a proper instrument was concerning. I also requested an evaluation of tooth #13 (upper left), and I was told it would be included in the report. The entire visit lasted about 10 minutes. They told me that the treatment plan would be sent later that same day. They told me that the treatment plan would be sent later that same day. Afterwards, I had to follow up multiple times over 5 days to receive the treatment plan. When it was finally sent, even the tooth numbers were incorrect. In particular, for tooth #13, the doctor had clearly stated in person that the condition was very poor, not salvageable, and required extraction. However, in the report this was reduced to a mild statement such as: "the patient reports intermittent symptoms of discomfort associated with tooth #13." Overall, the experience was rushed, poorly documented, and disappointing due to a lack of attention to detail and communication.

My wife hates having to go to the dentist, but Dr. Benderson always puts her mind at ease. Also, unlike a lot of other dentists that I've been to, Dr. Benderson doesn't try to upsell you on unnecessary procedures. For example, I recently chipped two teeth, and instead of putting in crowns, he was able to fill both teeth- and I've had no problems since.

What an experience. Super friendly front office staff. Very professional and relaxing Hygienists…read more I, like many people, do NOT love them k forward to antrip to the dentist. In my case today it was for a simple cleaning (still something I didn't look forward to). It just so happened that I found myself free from an early afternoon meeting and went to my appointment 45" early (why not get this over with). I arrived and was quickly welcomed and entered in as a new patient. I was lucky in that a previous cleaning appointment had not arrived so I was quickly shuffled into the flow and almost immediately taken back for my cleaning. I believe the Hygienist last name was Kelly. She got me set up, immediately went to work. I was very pleased with the manner she did her job. Nice attention to the small details but in a way which was gentile and not stressing me out. I was relaxed and, for a change, really enjoyed the experience. Now I'll loook forward to my next cleaning and know exactly where I'll be heading. I'll also hope to be blessed with Ms. Kelly once again as I'm sure she'll provide another spectacular experience.

I say this because I know many others feel as I do and would love to find a dental practice that makes them feel comfortable and supported. If so, I can't recommend Dental FX ENOUGH! Dr Yu and her amazing staff will welcome you to their practice in a manner that is incredibly personable. Clearly they take pride in a customer experience that is caring, thoughtful and considerate. If you go for the first time, let them know your worries as much as your goals. They listen and remember what you say. Not only do they do a great job in dentistry, they are passionate about supporting you in ways that most dentist practices overlook. The staff are friendly, fun and always learning and they love to share ways you can take better care of your dental maintenance. They think about your experience from the moment you arrive. They explain anything you may not understand in a fashion that makes sense. They think about areas that may feel uncomfortable. TVs, headsets, and eye shades are located in each dental room so you can relax and aren't staring up at overhead bright lights while they're working. Another example... when your mouth is open for too long it gets dry. I mentioned this and they immediately offered me a swab of lip balm. I hope this provides just enough context to get a sense for how this team of friendly professionals come together to redefine how dental care ought to be done!
