They swore it was okay. Next day, called and told them it fell off.... Still okay as long as he's not in pain they say. At his FIRST follow up appointment he gets a report of EXCESSIVE BREAKAGE. How the heck is there EXCESSIVE anything on the FIRST follow up. Anything falling off after just two weeks is a sign of poor workmanship. As I explained to staff, I've had braces. I know the do's and don'ts of wearing braces. As I told them, my son is eating rocks. On top of that you knew he had a missing bracket, time should have been built in to reapply it on that visit, especially when i called TWICE to say it was loose then fell off. Instead, we had to make another appointment to return to put ONE bracket back on. I'm really not trusting their work and thinking this is going to be a long two years of my son having to see them. I really wish they could take them off, give me Refund and let me go somewhere else.

My case was more involved so I had to be referred to an oral surgeon. I kept losing my paperwork or getting it damaged. She replaced it not once, but 3 times without ever a complaint. I have been there before and needed a basic extraction. The dentist was friendly and made the entire experience as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Levitas is a great dentist and has a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Molinaro whom I know because it's his office and from personal reference, has given me advice and a reference that gave me the right information to make the best decision for me. Was to have a filling redone, and came with the expectation that we would remove a wisdom tooth. He had seen my X-rays and I was prepped mentally for this procedure (very important to me). The extraction was the purpose of my visit and was agreed up on a brief prior "survey" sort of visit. Then he looked at the x-rays again, said the root was on a diagonal or something, and he would refer me to an oral surgeon. What? Wait a minute! Why am I here if you can't do what you said you were able to do - you had a chance to look and agreed. Confidence undermined!!! Pretty sure I don't want you to do anything! Why does the office website say oral surgeon but I got a referral to somewhere else. And the deep cleaning we also agreed on, got an appointment for a cleaning and maybe then do a partial deep cleaning but it was in three months!!!! Not happy. I was so hopeful. But if this office can't give me a new associate, I'm going to have to go shopping again....

Dr. Deroo became short in his dealing with me and lacked the same compassion and understanding that he delivered during the former part of my treatment. Because of this inconsistent disposition and poor communication skills, I would not recommend anyone (as I had done previously) to this doctor. FYI: I saw the aforementioned Affinity Dentist at another office.

Even if he came to me and said all of your teeth need to be pulled, I would oblige - instantly. He is incredibly gentle, calm and kind even with the more uneasy and squirmy patients like me. And, most important, he is insanely talented. He knows the exact amount of novocaine to use so I won't flinch - even once. He is also super discreet with the needle too. He has done the gamut of dental work on this 30-year-old mouth and you would never be able to tell. He recently fixed a tooth I chipped and made it look even better than before. He is a miracle worker! Side - but very important - note: He also has the best and most contagious laugh you will ever hear. During the consultation a process called Brius (behind the teeth) orthodontic treatment was recommended and I accepted. It was painful but did straighten my teeth in a decent amount of time, less than 12 months. However, I still had to wear the Invisalign every day after the brius was removed. Fast forward one year, my teeth have shifted and I am getting the braces I initially desired - from another provider. I'm a sales person and I got sold on a new procedure that was not sustainable. That was my fault. This rating is for those who are talked into "new" procedures. Just stick to the tried and true.
