Best fish and chips. Customer service was great and they have drinks. Don't forget to try their mud pie.

Fish and chips were tasty, but the portion size difference between our two orders was substantial.

Excellent food, and friendly and helpful staff. The cod tacos and the mussels and fries are my favourites: both delicious and satisfying.

Not a lot of dining tables for large groups but you could do Take out too . We ordered the Deep fried mushrooms and the cod dinner of 3 pieces with fries & 2 pop . The mushrooms were served first & piping hot and delicious! They served them with a tasty garlic mayo and a Ranch dip . The plate was huge and we ate half & had to take the rest home . The cod platter had so much fresh cut fries and not frozen type . The 3 pieces cod was quite large & my husband & I had 1.5 split between us . We ended taking half the fries home with us after . A fresh bun, lemon wedges & a side of tasty coleslaw came with our meal . Easy access to ketchup , malt vinegar to enjoy with your order . We ate inside as we wanted to enjoy it fresh & hot . This place is great ... I would come back again ! I've never been served such a generous portion of French fries . The service was excellent & they were so friendly ! The place was clean and thus could be our favorite Fish & Chips place !

A couple of days ago we had a late lunch at Blowers & Grafton in Mission. Simply put, it was…read moresuperb. Linda had the mini-lobster rolls. There were as 3 rolls, perfectly plated, all real lobster meat, and a small slaw under to give it that delightfully fresh crunch. The mini buns were, size-wise, the same as half hot dog buns, but much nicer. They were slightly but perfectly toasted, and then heaped with the lobster mixture. No fillers here! She absolutely loved it. As a side, she had a small cup of Atlantic seafood chowder, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. I went for the fish and chips, of course. Their house speciality is beer-battered haddock. The fries were as perfect as anyone could expect. Just the right size, and a perfect cook. The fish was absolutely delightful. Perfectly cooked (it's so easy to overcook fish). All placed nicely in a lovely basket. The batter was perfectly crispy, and it stayed that way, even after I put on some very nice malt vinegar. Without a doubt, this was the best fish and chips I have ever had in Calgary. The only (minor) issue was that the lovely basket for the fish and chips was a bit crowded, making it difficult to cut the fish. But, I can ask for a pate instead next time. Presentation: 5/5. was rather disappointing experience. took almost 45 mins to get our meal from the time we ordered…read moreit and when it arrived it was luke warm at best if not cold. The "baked" potato was microwaved vs actually baked And it was so cool that the butter I put on it didn't melt. Ordered a side of garlic prawns and got 3 small unflavored shrimp instead that were maybe an inch long if you stretched it out. my sons fries were undercooked (some weren't even golden, they were still potato white) And said some of them were kinda crunchy/stiff. I had the owners cut of prime rib and it was smaller than the last two times I had been to smugglers where I ordered a smaller cut (first mate) And it was cold, even the au jus was barely warm. Also probably the smallest Yorkshire pudding I've ever had there. Maybe 1/3 the size you use to get. We ordered desert and it took newly 30 mins for it to be brought out - my son's "warm" apple krisp was cold he said. i have been smugglers at least A dozen times in the last 3 years and more so in the last decade and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. In both service and quality. As it stands I would not recommend - where as before I always raved about the smugglers inn. For a $400+ bill for myself and my 3 kids, I def expected way better quality, actual warm food and not have to wait a combined time of over an hour for service. It was also my son's birthday, and he found the experience very disappointing and said he never wants to go back. When we booked we said it was a birthday, we mentioned it was his birthday and the server didnt even say happy birthday to him. Oh and it wasn't even that busy when we got there... there was maybe 10 costumers when we arrived. I might try it again due to past visits being great. But another experience like tonight and I'll probably take my prime rib expeditions else where. I doubt my kids will ever go back as the complained how horrible it was the entire drive home. I usually don't give a lot of reviews but it was such a sub-par experience I had to report it.

Parking was pretty full but we managed to snag a spot. The place was busy but not too loud. While the server did ask us if we were celebrating anything, there wasn't really anything done that made out time there special. We started with the Marrow and Escargot and shared a 12oz Prime Rib with lobster tail and Creme Brulee for dessert. The food was okay, not sure if it was worth the price of admission. Server was fine, but not memorable. We were disappointed in the experience as this used to be our go to (bi-monthly) dinner place before the ownership change.
