I took my two daughter's flower girl dresses to get a quote for alterations. The lady that came from the back looked at the dresses, told me it would be $50 to cut the front 3 layers of tulle. Once she quoted that, she dismissed me assuming it was too expensive for me. She didn't even want to quote me on bustles for the back until I asked. They must have so much business that new business isn't important to them. I will NEVER go there again. Customer service is important. read more

I was happy with her at first she seemed nice, but she charged me 160 to alter my dress and not even half way thru my strap broke off the straps were too thick I didn't say anything to her because it was to late but I was so disappointed to say the least when I was doing my dance a strap broke off it was so embarrassing! Unfortunately, I had a pretty terrible experience at this tailor shop this June. I brought my bridesmaid dress in to be shortened and to have the material that was taken off from my dress to be added to my sister's bridesmaid dress. The agreed length to be taken off of my dress was 4 inches. When I picked up the dress I found that more had been taken off. After speaking to the owner of the shop she denied taking off more than 4 inches. I ordered a new dress and when it came in, sure enough she had taken off 6 inches. I brought the dresses back to her to show that she had indeed taken off more than she quoted and she refused to pay for the entirety of the dress, costing me- a college student I may mention- $280. I asked for her business license number and she refused to give it to me. The work she did was unacceptable and she refused to correct her mistakes. I highly recommend that you find another tailor to use because this shop has questionable ethics. read more

I needed my new suit tailored ASAP for I wanted to look sexy during my vegas trip. After getting rejected in the nearby plazas decided to give Joes a try. Thao was the only tailor in. She got me out in only 30 minutes. THATS RIGHT I SAID ONLY 30 MINUTES.Other places Ive ever been to always needed a couple days to complete. Now I know how long it really takes for them to do their jobs. NEVERMORE will I take my business to other slackers. Prices are very reasonable. Total came out to be around $30 for my pants to be hemmed & jacket to be fitted. THAO did a fantastic job. A master of her craft she knew what looked best for slim fit suits. I'm strictly reviewing the men's tailoring services they offer, but I felt as if Joe's Tailoring did a decent job on my shirts and pants, hence the 3 star rating. I've dealt with both women who work here. The older woman seemed to do a much more thorough job with my pants, but didn't really slim down my dress shirts as much as I wanted. When I brought this to her attention, she still charged me an additional amount to fix her mistake. Not wanting to argue, I complied, mainly because I needed the clothing tailored immediately for my new job. I had to come within the hour, which I did. I didn't enjoy having to wait around for something that should have been done properly the first time, but things happen. However, the younger woman who works there doesn't put a lot of care into her work. It's a shame because she's incredibly friendly, but several other orders weren't completed as requested. I feel like I'm spending a ton of money just to get my clothes back in almost the same condition as I bought them. HUGE PLUS: Men's suits are reasonably priced. And they'll express tailor your suit in under an hour. Just make sure you're very clear about how you want your suit slimmed or else it will look baggy afterward. read more

She explained to me what was needed in order for me to get the results done, then gave me a quote. I agreed to the price, left my shirt behind and picked it up on the scheduled due date. TAO- is the person that runs this place, she is rude disrespectful and degrading!!! I think she has fat phobia I am a plus size girl and from day one it should have set off an alarm passive aggressive comments were always being made like you're too big for this shirt or for these pants I let that slide-this was the last straw I went to pick up my dress in which she did not do a good job the first time nor the second time but still had the nerve to charge me all well telling me that the dress look fine that was totally uneven on one side and not sewn correctly!!! If you're a plus size girl it doesn't mean that you have to feel unworthy or tolerate disrespect and just damn right allow a person to be mean to you!!!Don't go here don't waste your time she don't want your business at least that's the way she's acts as she tells me I'll see you next year while I'm walking out the door!?!?! I was hesitant having to find and trust a new tailor but after the reviews on Yelp I decided to try this place out. As of today I have gotten 3 suites tailored by Thao and she has done a fantastic job at getting the alterations done just so. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a fair price. I lagged on getting my pants hemmed for a wedding (four days from now) and I came here hoping for a quick turn around. I was surprised at the Friday pick up date,but I figured she was busy. Brought in a pair of dress pants to show them it needed hemming and the lady says "let me see" takes them back and returns in a minute after completing the work then tells me "i'm a professional!" And goes on to charge me $5.00. I never asked her to do the work in the first place but I'm not gonna argue but next time it would be nice for you not to assume that a customer immediately wants you to do the work. In any case, the work wasn't that great to merit the bragging or the cost. Let's see how long their work lasts. read more

I was calling all the tailoring places in the area and Joe's Tailoring was the only place that could provide to my emergency need. Friday 7/12/19 around 4 or 5 pm I needed my casual summer dress altered in 3 areas and hemmed at the bottom by the next morning for my brother in laws wedding. I rushed across town and met Thao, who worked on my dress. I put it on and showed her what I would like done. She didn't hesitate a bit she just starting marking the spots as I showed her. She told me she would take care of it and would see me in the morning. I was stepping out of my comfort zone by wearing a dress out for the first time in my adult life lol. I was definitely nervous about the outcome, thinking I might have to buy something else to wear to the wedding if I didn't like how it fits after the alterations. When I came to pick it up, it was ready. I tried it on and was so happy! I felt like a queen that day wearing my dress, I got so many compliments! My hubby was my biggest fan! In the past 4 years we have brought in various items to be taliored. The work has been top notch. When the woman said she couldn't alter a particular dress for my daughter she actually made an exact copy of the dress with the alterations necessary! We ended up returning the orginal dress to the store. We purchased material for a tux to match a dresss brought it to her and she made the tie perfectly matching the dress. The owner has taken in cheer outfits, prom dresses, coats, repaired luggage zippers and as stated even made a dress and tie from scratch for us. I would highly recommend this seamstress. read more
