I recently had a birthday celebration for my husbands 90th Birthday. I knew nothing about Joe Diamond except that he came highly recommended by the event planner at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach. We had called several DJ's and Joe Diamond was the only one that contacted us back right away. They were efficient, helpful and picked the perfect DJ (Dean) for our event! We recently had an event with around 100 guests. The theme of our event focused on food, so when it came time to have our banquet, we thought it would be great to have a themed entertainment. We found the "Server's Surprise" through Joe Diamond's Events. At first I was not sure how this was going to play out, but working with Joe and Alex, they helped me plan the event and understand how it was going to run. When it came time for the Server's surprise entertainment during our banquet, I can explain it to you in one word... AMAZING! It was definitely a unique experience. There were a few of us who planned the event and were the only ones who knew what was going to happen; all of our other guests were shocked and amazed as to what was taking place. After the event, I received nothing but compliments from my guests. I would highly suggest this event to anyone who is having a banquet dinner with a large group of people. If you do have this event though, remember to keep it a secret from your guests. Once I locked in my 55th Birtday Bash Event date, I called Joe on my way home from work...He said that he was on his way to another event and asked if he could return my call the following Monday...15 minutes later, one of his staffers called me back and from then on-It Was On. The day of the event Randy was our DJ and his energy and happiness was so contagious it just added to a great day. He is one talented DJ! I hired Joe Diamond Events for my wedding in March and overall my wedding was everything that I ever could have dreamed for. I worked with Alex on the look and feel that we wanted and she was able to come up with the perfect decor and ideas based on my color scheme (including centerpieces, bouquets, sweetheart & cake table, ceiling decor etc) The venue and ceremony decor was set up and taken down on time so I didn't have any issues with the venue. She was always available and quick to answer my questions and most importantly worked with my budget! She also kept in contact with my vendors before and during the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly and I didn't have anything to worry about and enjoyed my day.
