From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

We also wanted to include our late dog in the design, and she incorporated him so beautifully. Seeing the attention to detail in their previous work is what convinced us to move forward, and all of our guests were blown away by how everything turned out. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.

Same Bat Time!! Same Bat Channel!!…read moreWell, same place but the name has changed from The Artsy Flea to The Odd Market. It's also not $1 to get in, it's a $2 ante. Plenty of booths to discover and plenty of food trucks to offer. There's music in the back corner. Lots of great artistic stuff to browse through. Don't mistake this for a swap meet because you can get everything brand new. Nothing second hand here. It's also dog friendly as long as you have your friend on a leash. Hopefully not jumping all over everyone and that also means your significant other. I got a sample of strawberry jam from this one booth that was selling dried goods. Was really good and wished I could have put that on a bagel or something. I spoke with the guy at the leather goods booth about phone cases. Great stitch work and great selections for leather. This is going to be first Saturday of each month so it's good to check it out if you don't have anything to do on a Saturday. Enjoy the music at the market with a few snacks in hand.

This review is a year and a half overdue and is a long one, so get comfortable…read more My experience with Sarah is that she is greedy and I caution anyone with a conservative budget to look elsewhere. I promise other event planners exist that are willing to provide exceptional service even to those who don't have extravagant budgets. I had been following Fig & Whiskey on Instagram for a while because Billye Donya (who is an amazing photographer) often photographs parties that F&W puts together and I always thought they looked amazing. So, when the time came to plan the 1st birthday party of my rainbow baby after years of infertility and a miscarriage, I reached out to her because I wanted this party to be extra special. After all, there were years I thought I would never get to experience this milestone. I explained to Sarah that using her is a major splurge even for the minimal services she would be able to provide me with my budget and the reason why I was willing to do it. I also believed that since this is her speciality, she would know of vendors I didn't and would be able to provide savings through her relationships with certain vendors. Isn't that one of the main reasons people use event planners? So we decided that for $500 (paid upfront) she would curate a list of decorations and rentals for me and then I could decide what I wanted to use and she would help to purchase them and have them delivered to my house. She came to my house to check out the space which she mentioned is not something she normally does for a client like me. This is usually something she does for the clients purchasing one of her larger packages. I appreciated that she was willing to come meet me in person anyway. She came over, looked around our backyard, we talked about my expectations and wishlists, and then said she'd follow up with options. She sent me a deck of 3 or 4 pages and most of the items on there were things I had already found on Etsy myself and other things were overpriced. She clearly was not keeping my personal budget in mind and why was I paying someone to do Etsy searches for me? I had asked if she could find better pricing for certain things and it would take her about a week to respond with other options still out of budget. Each time I would reach out to her with questions or needing help finding new options, it would take her at least a week to respond back to me. I quickly realized that I was not a priority to her because I wasn't one of her big package clients and with how unresponsive she was, I wouldn't be able to trust that she would be paying attention to shipping and delivery times and get everything ordered in time for the party. So, after about 3 additional emails, I decided to go it alone. I purchased the things I wanted from Etsy and then did the research myself to find more affordable dupes of other items on her list. Once I stopped emailing, so did she. As the event date approached, she never once reached out checking in. Never asked if I made any decisions. Never asked what she could order for me. Never followed up. It's been a year and a half and I still have never heard from her. After the event date passed, she still never checked in. Never apologized for dropping the ball. Never asked how everything went. She had absolutely no problem taking $500 from me and giving me nothing in return.

He and his girlfriend are expecting their first child and the plans for a shower didn't seem to come together as he (my son) would have liked. Sarah had less than a week to pull together a baby shower with the" twinkle twinkle" theme. Sarah left no stone unturned to give the kids the most incredible shower! Sarah listened, appreciated my budget constraints and in spite of some logistical issues (which she calmly resolved) the shower was a HUGE success!
