Prior to preparing a detailed scope of work and cost estimate, Manny came out carefully assessed the situation based on an inspection report I had obtained and his own observations and experience. (A couple other companies couldn't be bothered to come out, rather, just shooting me higher cost estimates without even seeing the place.) He stuck to the terms of the estimate and his crew did very nice work. His four-man crew, led by Augustino, was hard working, conscientious and detail oriented, polite and left the work site in good tidy order every night. I had windows replaced in conjunction with the stucco work and they cooperated well with the window installation subcontractor by sharing their scaffolding, getting the window area prepared, etc. I'm glad I chose Stucco King and would recommend them to my friends.

Later that evening, I received a call saying that my appointment wasn't confirmed via text, so it was never booked. I explained that I never received a text, and Jeff admitted he had sent it to the wrong number. Despite acknowledging his mistake, he said the earliest he could reschedule me was a week later. While it was frustrating, I agreed to reschedule. When his team came to provide a quote, they quoted me $375. I mentioned I had a $50 off coupon from their website, so I expected the total to be $325. Jeff informed me that all discounts were already included in the $375 price. I asked why they advertise a $50 off coupon if they don't honor it, and his explanation was that the coupon was for same-day cleanings only. His crew had already mentioned that 99% of their jobs are same-day cleanings, so I questioned why they advertise a coupon that would apply to almost no one. Instead of addressing my concern, Jeff responded in a condescending manner and continuously blamed me for misunderstanding. My issue is simple: they don't honor what they advertise and treat customers poorly when legitimate concerns are raised. If you can't provide a real discount, remove the coupon from your website, and treat customers with respect. I would not recommend this business.

We hired L3 at the end of 2015 to create a backyard living space and could not have been happier…read morethat we did so. Lauren, Mike and team are easily the best contractors we have worked with and we have worked with quite a few in updating our house. They are reliable, honest and respectful. What also makes them so great is that they genuinely care about providing long term, functional solutions. They aren't going to just take the quick or easy approach. Specifically, we had some drainage issues which L3 fixed even though it was not originally encompassed in our plan. Additionally, they always kept the backyard in a clean state and even fixed little things such as a leaky hose connector even though we never even told them we had a problem with it. One of the most appreciated things too was that we never went over budget. In fact, L3 even threw in some extras as a bonus (seasonal Christmas flowers in front yard, drainage solutions, constant maintenance of the yard during the project). This is the first time we have ever worked with a contractor who did not under bid the project. When we first met with Lauren, we were not sure what to expect. We discussed with her our general thoughts of our backyard space and requested some items to be included in her proposal (pergola, fountain, etc). But when she met with us the second time with her drawings and ideas, we were blown away. We had met with several other landscape developers but after seeing Lauren's drawings, it was a no brainer. Several of the other contractors could only give us vague renderings in our consultations unless we committed to use their services and paid a design fee. Lauren also came in at a lower price than others and was able to include much more in the project (grill area, fountain, fire pit, pergola). After selecting Lauren, her and Mike got the materials in place and started right away with breaking ground. We had a pretty rainy December which did put the project a little behind schedule but we appreciated Mike and Lauren's resolve to always keep us apprised of schedule changes. Additionally, Mike always reinforced the importance of making sure things were done right and not hastily. Obviously weather is something that is out of their control. And L3 did everything possible to make up that lost time by working extra Saturdays. I think Mike even came in the day of or day after his wedding which we said was completely unnecessary. However, it just gives you an idea of their commitment to the project. In the end, the weather issues didn't really even matter because we ended up not far off the schedule. More importantly though, we ended up with the best backyard possible. Almost every friend or family member who has been to our house is shocked with the transformation and all have wanted Lauren's contact info including neighbors. For the first time ever, there is zero hesitation on our part to refer a contractor to a friend or family member because there's nothing negative to say about their services. L3 is a class act company and awesome to work with. I highly recommend this company.

I had used another painting contractor before, but I needed a second estimate for comparison. **Note: when I called the other contractor for an estimate, he asked me how many cracks I had and gave me an estimate over the phone without seeing what needed to be done. Charlie came by the day after I called to take a look at the work that was needed. I had some pretty substantial cracks in the kitchen area walls and some minor cracks in the ceiling in the kitchen. A few other minor cracks in the walls on the first floor also needed work. Charlie emailed me a written estimate the next day which was lower than the previous contractor I had used. When I called him to accept the bid and arrange for a day to do the work, Charlie told me he could come the following day! Joy! I could get this taken care of ASAP, since we are expecting out-of-town guests next month and I didn't want my house to look like it was falling apart. Charlie and his helper did arrive a little later than expected (minor) the next morning, but they took a short lunch and finished right on time. They were great about clean up and were extraordinarily tolerant of my dogs, too! The work that they did was superb. My walls look tremendous now, especially since I painted yesterday -- my kitchen looks fabulous! What was really great about Charlie was that he gave me a lot of advice. Obviously parts of the ceiling would now need to be painted -- but I didn't want to paint the entire ceiling. He saved the strip that he took off, told me where to take it to match the paint (which they did) and exactly how to paint it so that it would look perfect (which it does). He told me precisely how to paint the repaired areas of the kitchen walls first, and then the whole kitchen so that it would look like the walls had never been repaired -- which it does. And, Charlie talks. I like that in repairmen. When they talk, they tell you things -- stuff you can use. He told me what I could use to revitalize the finish on my cherry-stained kitchen cabinets (even sent me a picture of the product). He had useful information to share about basic home repair. Charlie talked; I listened. Done Right Remodeling is a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating. That's how I found them, and I'm glad I did. With the quick response and reasonable bid I received, combined with excellent workmanship and clean up afterwards (a big plus in my book), I see why he's earned that A+ rating. I would definitely recommend this business and call them again for a repair that I could not do myself.
