At the beginning of the project it looked promising. Spoke with the project coordinator MalachI who was awesome made sure we had no issue and if we did HE made sure there was a solution. Meet the owner who came to my home and made my wife cry about a decision she made on some plumbing fixture. Also he popped up unannounced while I wasn't home and she was alone. At this point I was ready to pull the plug on the project and finish it up myself But once again I talked to the project coordinator the and he convinced me to allow them to finish the job. After reading the Scathing review of the only other person to review Anderson on here, I really felt like I had to respond. Anderson has done 4-5 project at my house, especially my gutters. Not sure why the other reviewer hates them so much, but if I called several times to a company right across the street with no reply, I'd assume I was calling the WRONG place, and oh.... Stop in? Anderson did my gutters and Amanda Murray was excellent in communication, and billing. Our setup is 6" ogee gutters and 3"x4" downspouts that were painted twice. We have the hidden hangers, Leaf Screens everywhere, and for that price they also replace over 12' of 1X2 and 12' of 1X6 and caulked the repairs. They actually came in a bit Under bid for the Gutter part, and also replaced 108 linear feet of fascia board, installed and painted for a very very reasonable price. They did a fantastic job. They were not the cheapest bid, but were very professional ,and businesslike. So much so, that they have done several other projects for me. I'm not associated with the company, nor do I get anything for this, I was just surprised to see the other reviewers comments. -Jon read more

We started our mini-kitchen remodel end of August and were told once we committed, they would start in about 2 weeks and it would be a 1-week project. I get COVID has caused disruptions, but we are still dealing with them on December 18th!! Why ... because I received a NOTICE OF LIEN from the cooktop vendor because Anderson had not paid them. I paid them in full throughout the process as committed. Rest assured, less than 4 hours after the final trades left the house, I received a call asking for payment - they didn't even ask me if everything was to our satisfaction - which it was not. The countertop was not cut out for the sink, so they cut it in the driveway - AND CUT THE WRONG side of the slab we selected. I was so relieved to have the island and sink working, we will make-do with the incorrect cut, knowing the alternative is dealing with this circus show again to get what we paid for. Super disappointed with this extremely unnecessarily long, disorganized process. At no time during the first 90 days did they provide any status updates, and were only prompted by me reaching out to them. We could have done a gut job and remodeled our entire kitchen twice in the time it has taken to get this job completed. Some of the trades were good, their office staff is a hot mess. A contractor shouldn't have to be project managed, that is the actual point of hiring a contractor. Go somewhere else. Would never recommend them to anyone ever. Hopefully, I can get this LIEN nonsense sorted out before someone comes and takes my cooktop out of my house that I paid Anderson for !! When I called them about it they just said, oh, don't worry about that, its taken care of. Really ? !!When I asked for documentation to that effect, got nothing to date. read more

I was looking around for a company to replace several windows in my home,as the seal had broken and they always appeared so dirty and cloudy. I called Anderson Remodeling, and they arrived at my home for a consult and estimate within just a few days. Ac few weeks later, whern my custom sized windows were ready, they beautifully installed, the installers protected my floor and furniture and were quick and cleaned up perfectly, and the price was completely reasonable for the huge windows I had installed. I had such a great experience, that I called Anderson Remodeling again when I needed another window replaced, and some additional work on weatherstripping on my doors. Had my RV stored there. Plugged our fridge before a long trip. The owner told his wife to unplug our camper because it was plugged for a few days. Lost everything in fridge right before our trip. What a heartless thing to do. Guess they wanted us gone. Won't recommend them. These are the same people that asked for title papers for rv in order to park there. She said she unplugged it at 10 pm last night in 100 degree weather. Lucky I got there at 10 am the next morning before it smelled like a dead body. Rude and heartless. Should have called us. Oh I forgot. She was painting her office. She didn't have time. Just enough time to unplug. read more

We recently installed a new pool, with beautiful travertine columns. So we wanted to remodel our patio with fresh paint, fans, and new new cedar posts, wrapped in travertine around base to match the pool. After getting several bids, Anderson was the highest, by quite a bit. But they had a nice office two minutes from our house, and so we thought we have better results from an "established" company close to home. Boy were we wrong. Long story short, take a look at the photos... I hope Yelp lets me attach photos, otherwise go see my review on Google that has images. Anderson's mason did a terrible job trying to lay the stone. He couldn't get a straight line, despite the stone being precut and coming in boxes, ready to stick up. We had to fire them and beg our pool company to let their guy come do the stone work on the side. Turned out perfect. Now the details for those interested... First red flag was when we went in for advise on paint and stain colors. The manager was abrupt, as if we were a nuisance for asking, and fools for not knowing what colors we wanted in the first place. Second red flag was their painter/carpenter, who didn't tape anything off, so we have some paint bleeding over instead of sharp edges. He also put only one coat of stain on the columns, so we have to retouch it ourselves. This guy also had a woman assistant, who he constantly berated and verbally abused. In her defense, she gave back as good as she got, but it was awful to listen to over several days they were here. We told Anderson about it, and they already knew about it, and thought it was funny. Third and final red flag was when their stone mason couldn't lay stone in a level row, could not match up the edges, and was leaving huge gaps you could stick your fingers through. I asked him about it the first day, and he just said, "well, I'm not finished yet." So I figured he had a plan to make it better. But after two and a half days, he "finished" one post. See images. It was awful. So we called Anderson. Manager asked to send photos, even though they are literally about two minutes away. I sent photos and they said they couldn't see any issues. So I told the manager he needed to come look in person. He reluctantly agreed, and didn't arrive until after 8pm that night... seriously. Even after looking right at it, he said that was "normal", and working with stone was hard to do. So I asked, "Does this work meet Anderson's standards?" He said, yes it does and it is the best that can be done. He even said that the stonework on our pool was no different, despite the difference in quality being obvious to my family, friends, neighbors, anyone that looked at it. So we fired Anderson, and had someone else complete the patio. We had already paid Anderson for all but a portion of the stone work, so we were out some money prepaid, plus all the wasted stone that had to be demolished so someone else could do it right. If you're considering Anderson, don't assume they will have better workmanship, standards, or customer service. They don't. Find someone else for your project, save money, and get better results. Ps. Some of their good reviews seem to be for a different Anderson that does windows. Not the same company. I'm reviewing Anderson Remodeling at 12346 Spring Cypress. read more

We have used Anderson Remodelling for several major projects over the years and have always been extremely satisfied with the results. Two years ago we did a total master bath remodel that involved completly gutting the bathroom down to the studs. We had the shower stall removed and anderson drilled out some of the slab in order to construct a large handicap accessible walk in shower. Anderson tiled the walls and floor with rectified nearly seamless tile. Anderson replaced the counters, and installed granite counter tops. The bathroom is beautiful. In December we had Anderson totally redo our kitchen, dining room, family room and laundry room. This involved removing the builders tile and installing over 2,000 square ft of rectified tile, stripping and refinishing the wood cabinets, installing 5 slabs of Taj quartzite as countertops and backsplash. The work was completed on time and to our satisfaction. Anderson is not inexpensive, but he does good work and more importantly stands behind his work and fixes the occasional problem when it occurs without any equivocation. I would utilize his services for any remodelling work or home repair. read more

I recommend Anderson, but think it is a good idea to get a quote from some other company as well just to keep them honest on price. read more

We used them 15 years ago for interior painting and had a great experience. Everything is still holding up. They just finished pressure washing and painting the exterior of our house and rebuilding the old balcony. They were extremely professional and polite in all aspects of the job including when we wanted to add a thing or two as they went along. The owner came out several times while the job was underway to monitor the progress. We especially appreciate how carefully their workers went over the whole house and found small areas that needed attention before they finished. There are probably cheaper options but this is an organization that has been in business for a long time and has a great track record as evidenced by the other reviews I have read. read more

We had Anderson Remodeling do the painting and minor repairs on our (new to us) house just before we moved into it. We were no short of thrilled by the professionalism they displayed. They showed up on time, were VERY respectful of the space, and finished the job without a single problem. Mr. Anderson was a delight to work with, as well as his right hand person Melissa. They took many problem areas and brought the older house back to life. And, their reasonable prices made us lifelong clients of their business. Anderson used to do professional carpentry/repairwork, but the key word is "used to." The estimator completely overestimated the hours and workers necessary to complete my job but still expected full payment. She did not bother itemizing the cost of individual repairs in the beginning. After work was completed a laborer instead of a supervisor, tried to do a walk thru with me, and he shrugged off my concerns regarding an obvious "patchwork" ceiling job. You will be lucky if someone named Melissa ever returns your phone calls, bc she is never available for your concerns, but she is available to pick up her payment check. Very bad communication, sloppy work for the price, very long wait time to get on their work schedule--- DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!! read more

Wish they had a zero star option. Hired them to restain cabinets white, looked great for about three years then started to turn very yellow. The inside edge where original stain was is still white as snow. The owner and asst came out and took pictures, sent sherwin Williams paint rep out who also took pics. SW rep stated they used oil based paint and cut it with paint thinner which was not proper use of product and would yellow. Should have used actual white "stain", but this was a contractors short cut. Paid high price for what was done thinking I was using reputable company. I have left messages for owner to return call for weeks he never does. Finally today after several calls his Asst told me due to only having 2 year warranty they will do nothing. Owners asst, his wife and a couple other employees assured me on several occasions he would call back. Almost a month of calling and still no phone call. The owner originally tried to blame it on the paint manufacturer (SW),faux painters who inked the edges( this didn't pan out for him since the backs where he painted the faux painters never touched is now yellowed). I think a job this expensive should last a bit more than 4 years, BUYER BEWARE!!! read more
