This is the second project that I've had them on, and they largely won this one on the strength of their performance on the first job. The first job did involve some fits and starts that had to be sorted through, but the finished product was spectacular. We get compliments on it to this day. The second project was a continuation of the first and again CW and his crews exceeded our expectations. His crews are knowledgeable, accomplished landscapers who will take time to answer any question. CW never fails to respond to a query. The finished product will amaze you. You don't need to, and don't, try and micromanage the project. Tell them what you want and stand back and wait to be amazed, they are that good. read more

CW the owner came out for the estimate as scheduled and very professional. We loved his ideas and the cost was what we were looking for. The office staff was on top of it as we had questions on materials we requested. The installers were the best kept the place clean and pick up. CW is a hands on own he does show up after the contact is sign to check on the job. We are very pleased and will recommend him to family and friends. Worst customer service ever, and VERY expensive. Had bushes installed in front of my house...followed all the directions they gave me, bushes died. Turns out they planted them in clay and didn't dig deep enough, thus they bushes all drowned. Called them, Jennifer was rude, condescending, and lied to me. I was told I had a warranty, but when I called on the issue, the first response was that it was my fault...they didn't even come out to look at the bushes. I eventually called another landscaper, he pulled them out and laughed at the shoddy work they did. He dug the holes much deeper, added some mixed soil and planted the SAME bushes...today they are thriving and look great!! Many years prior I hired them to install a walkway from the garage to the pool...it had an arch to it as it went behind the house. When they were done the arch was so messed up looking that I lifted all the sod and re-did their work (to give it a symmetrical shape). I should have learned from that first mistake to never hire them again. Both jobs were over-priced and looked terrible. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them! read more

Very professional! And very easy going person. Did a great job with our landscaping, irrigation system, and new Bermuda grass. The fence was pretty good. We needed someone to come out afterwards and fix the gates. read more

After many quotations we chose Turf Plus Management. It is hard to visualize what contractors will do until you see a solid plan. Steve, the designer from the company did a great job coming up with a plan for us. We sat down a few times and he designed a new deck for our pool with an elevated area, an outdoor kitchen, balcony railing and artificial turf on it etc. It came out very close to what he had on computer design. They have a hard working crew. Main guy Enrique can fix anything. Steve is a perfectionist. If he did not like anything, he will do it himself. I am going to see how the polymeric sand holds up in the looks. So far they have done what we asked for. We had many issues with contractors before. Contractors many times leave a job, rip you off or don't finish what you paid for. These guys did a great job so far! read more

Unfortunately I had not read the reviews posted with the BBB. I had this company install a complete drainage system, a new sprinkler system and all new St. Augustine turf in my yard. The yard looks great! The drainage system works perfectly (Once they installed it on the correct side of the house). The big issue with this company is whether they will honor their warranties. In my case, they did not. I called them out 2 months after the job bc there were 3 places where the grass was dying. C.W. came out, told me it was a maintenance issue, telling me I was overwatering and had created a fungus. Well, I treated and treated for this fungus, but the grass just would not grow in these areas. Finally, I called 2 experts, TruGreen and Scotts, both companies told me it was not fungus, the grass was not getting enough water. I tried clearing the areas around ALL the sprinkler heads. The water was just not reaching these 3 areas. Spring rolls around 8 months later and the grass is still not growing AND my sprinkler system is only working 50% of the time. Even when I try it on a 'Manual Start' or a 'Test Run'. So, I call, again... I tell C.W.'s Assistant, Jennifer, my issues. No response. I called (and have records) 2 - 3 times a week and sent emails for 5 weeks. Nothing. I asked Jennifer if the company was just going to keep ignoring me for the next 3 weeks and then tell me my warranty was up. She promised me that they were just 'so busy...' I kept calling, leaving messages and sending emails. Absolutely no response. Jennifer wasn't even answering her phone. Finally, one night I left a msg on Jennifer's Voicemail AND on the Big Boss C.W.'s Voicemail. Finally, C.W. HIMself calls me back. Where, for the next 10 minutes, he actually screams at me, bringing me to tears, yelling that my warranty 'expired in February and if HE came out he was charging me $125!' Umm, I have the paperwork and the cancelled check. No, my warranty began approximately the middle of April. Not to mention, I have been calling since the beginning of February! The sprinkler system still doesn't work correctly. According to 2 other companies, it has to do with the fact that Turf Plus failed to level one area surrounding the PVC tubes protecting the wiring. So, any time it rains, the soil just runs off, filling up the PVC pipes with soil, pulling the wires loose. The grass is still dying in 3 areas. I even called, a week before my warranty actually expired, telling the new assistant (Jennifer quit bc of C.W.'s antics), C.W. didn't even have to come out. Just mail me the larger sprinkler heads and I would have a real company install them. Never, ever heard from them again. The other 2 reviews on the Internet are from small jobs. My job was right at $6000. I am giving Turf Plus Management 2 stars - 1 for Jennifer and 1 for the incredible work crew. Read the complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Turf Plus arrived when they said they would arrive and stayed on the job every day despite difficult weather conditions. Design was better than we imagined, water drains away perfectly when it rains and we sit out and enjoy it every day. Each employee was dedicated to doing the job right in every detail. read more

CW did a huge project for us that rehabbed virtually every square foot of our property! He was able to capture our vision and improve on it because of his extensive professional knowledge and experience! He always listens and remembers every detail! Before starting work, he produced a 3D computer design for our review and comments. His crew was hard-working, respectful, and meticulous! The project included replacing almost all the hardscape on our lot with cobblestone pavers including the driveway and an extended front porch. He built a pergola two arbors and several trellises that afford privacy from our neighbor. He installed an irrigation system and beautiful outdoor low voltage lighting. And he renovated two fish ponds. He made extensive use of existing plant and stone materials that we had, at our request, although this was very labor intensive. We could not be any more satisfied! On his own initiative, he arranged to move and temporarily store several cars that were impediments to the work. read more

Great work by crew but horrible management team. You better make sure you have everything clearly understood before moving forward with the project because the project manager does not listen and you will end up paying more than expected to get what you want because you are lead to believe something different during the proposal time. They also do not properly correct any misunderstandings, and you end up paying more without any attempt for them to correct the problem for you. I am not sure if this is a tactic or not to get more money out of you, but it sure felt like it was. The crew does FANTASTIC work...especially if you have Adrian as your crew leader. Would not necessarily NOT recommend them, but would advise you to proceed with caution when dealing with the management side of this business. Also, if you have the Belgard representative do a drawing for you, when they give you something totally different than the drawing don't expect them to support you either. We were told by both Turf Plus as well as Belgard that the drawing is only "theory". Also make sure you see the actual samples of the stone they are going to use because what they tell you it is going to look like is totally different than what they produce. Be cautious and if Adrian isn't working there anymore, I would find someone else to use for your project. read more
