Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. Saul Cabrera was referred to me by a friend to restore my house after Hurricane Harvey. He…read moreprovided me a fair and honest estimate and I hired him 8 months after the storm. He and his crew did sheetrock, bamboo floors, baseboards, painting/texturing, tile, bathtub replacement, appliance retrieval and installation, some fencing and a garage floor. They are prompt, professional and are not scattered out over several projects at once. His employees have been with him for 5-20 years, wear a company uniform, and are dedicated and respectful. Unlike other contractors, Saul is present at the job site performing some of the work. He presented me with no surprises with the billing. He was pleasant to work with, takes pride in a job well done, and has none of the arrogance I've encountered with other contractors. I gave one of my neighbors (an engineer) a tour and he was amazed how quickly and expertly the work was done.
