Contracted monolite to fix a leak I had on a window. The initial fix at the window was not successful but monolite came back immediately and found the leak coming from the wall above the window. The workers were very professional and worked through tricky parking around my house/several rain storms. Leaks are tricky to identify so you won't always find them on the first try. I will trust using monolite going forward for any future wall/stucco leak issues! read more

Monolite was fantastic to work with - truly a house saver. We originally bought our house knowing we needed some repairs on the stucco, and Monolite responded quickly with a competitive bid, and the quickest time table to complete the work. When we first got our report from our inspector when we bought the house, we knew of a couple different areas that needed work. Monolite fixed all the problems quickly, but they also went above and beyond to make sure every other area was inspected and fixed as well. Instead of just finding stucco problems above the garbage of our townhome, they found water damage on the second floor windows, on the third floor windows, and on our framing on the side of our house. Somehow, water just found its way everywhere, and without Monolite checking literally every surface of our house, we'd still have rotting frame and beams that we wouldn't have even known about. They saved us who knows how many countless of thousands of dollars in the long run. They took care of things without needing to or being asked! For example, we had replaced a sprinkler system controller on the wall outside with a new one. The old one had left drill holes in the stucco. Monolite found them and filled them, just to make sure everything on the house was protected. David, our project manager, was awesome. He was always keeping us in the loop, updating us with the progress, the problems they uncovered, and what our options were. He was always really flexible with our schedule. I spoke with owner/Mgr for an agreed appointment time well in advance and blocked off my personal time to meet his workers there. The day of the appointment, I called because there were no workers at the site that morning, no calls that workers were on their way. I called the secretary and was informed that my appointment had been moved to Friday without my knowledge. If he could not make the appointment, at least call the customer to let them know you cannot make it. Lack of professionalism or even basic customer courtesy is red flag already. I would never use them again or recommend them. They were difficult to keep in touch with after work started and they thought it was acceptable to make excuses or say how busy they were. When problems arose from their repairs not stopping leaks the owner became defensive and rude. He yelled at me as if it was my fault that they were unable to figure it out after redoing it several times. I could go on with more details but I think that says enough. read more

This company removed current balcony flooring and added flashing, moved door up and did westcoat system on floor and redid stucco. Was suppose to take 7-8 days and took over a month. They did not work every day. Left my stucco pilars and balcony exposed to elements with no stucco on it for several weeks with no rush to get it done. Even though we had a leak in the balcony floor they did not replace boards as said not damaged. Did minimal inspection for damage. Just peeking below a few boards and said fine underneath. Did not even show me just started putting more boards on top. Built balcony up higher than interior floor with sloping. I thought suppose to be lower than interior floor. They said they do this all the time and normal. While testing cement slope sprayed water and it leaked into balcony ceiling below and they said prob got thru staples in membrane beneath but did not try and remedy situation as I am told you should because the point of membrane is too keep water out of area below. Instead said additional coats of westcoat will make it waterproof. I have not tested to see if truly waterproof since finished. I told them I wanted smooth finish no texture and the men did not even use a trowel instead used boots to stamp imprints and sprayed black stain to create effect. Also stucco was very uneven and jagged at the edge. Looked atrocious and they agreed to redo it. Said Guys misunderstood and literally doing "stamped concrete" with their boot imprints. Redid in smooth texture but didn't touch up obvious areas before put sealer and delayed more time as had to redo. Redid and still had spots not touched up but he said that's the best they could do. Also when they came for initial bid said they would store and paint railings. Railings sat outside exposed to elements for a week and uncovered until finally took to storage to paint. They brought railings back and installed them rusty and no paint. I had to tell them again what they had promised. Finally spray painted then in yard with spray cans you can get at hardware store. read more

Initially, Monolite was responsive and it seemed like they did an ok job on my house, which needed extensive repairs. However, the paint that they used (which was very pricey and expensive) was not applied correctly, so the paint is dripping all over. I have tried to get them to come out and fix it, but they have not been able to set a time for what they call a small and easy fix. I have been trying to contact them and get them to fix it for months (I contacted them about the dripping paint over a year ago), but they haven't come out and it still looks terrible. If you want the job done right with people who honor their work, look elsewhere. read more

I cannot recommend Monolites enough! The buyer on our house requested a last minute stucco inspection, leaving us with only 2 weeks to find a reputable company to make repairs before we closed on our house. Albert was able to get us a quote the same day. Although their initial bid was slightly higher than other companies, they worked with us and reduced the price so as to remain competitive.
