The pieces were smaller and easier to handle than I'm used to as well. It lights easily and burns very clean. This is an EXCELLENT product. Also, the pieces were a couple of inches too short for my racks, which are designed for 18" logs. If you're a firewood connoisseur, this is the place to get your wood.

They spent 7 hours carefully removing the tree, lifting huge pieces of it over our neighbor's house (thank you, good neighbors!), ground the small and medium branches, and stacked the very large trunk sections on the street. On Thursday they picked up all of the large sections and hauled them away. By 5pm the tree was gone and contractors were able to start doing a temporary repair of the large holes in our garage roof. This was a traumatic experience that was totally unexpected. This was a seemingly healthy tree that just tipped over without warning. Anyone can imagine how it feels to have a huge tree laying on your house. Although delivered today, I could easily have a good, roaring fire tonight with no fear the wood is at all still green. Miller Firewood delivers a superior product at a good price. They apologized and made sure to have someone there the same day. The wood was stacked as requested, although I did have to request they pass on the exact location to stack it since I wasn't going to be home. That's important because the email says "no need to be home, we will take care of it." Not sure how since the order form doesn't ask for a location to stack the wood.
