    Where do we even start. When we first spoke with Jess, we knew right away we'd want to work with her for our wedding. Grant and I both didn't know what we wanted specifically in our wedding, and Jess was able to just give all the suggestions and recommendations for vendors and for decorations and ideas. Jess saved us in the end with our wedding, as a month and half prior to our wedding date, our venue cancelled on us. We went on hunting for venues with the help of Jess. We basically almost gave up planning on our wedding but luckily since we had Jess around, that we left everything pretty much up to her and let me tell you, she smacked it out of the park and delivered us something truly amazing. How it literally all came together within the last few of few weeks of our wedding day, I was just in awe of how beautiful the day went. We will never be able to thank Jess enough for how smooth our day went. We will forever be grateful for Jess and her team for how it turned out. If you ever need someone on your side to help plan your wedding, I would 100% recommend Jess!

    TL;DR Jessica is AMAZING, and I would 10+/10 recommend her for all your event planning needs! --- Jessica was the planner (and MVP) for our wedding in April 2021. I first met Jessica back in December 2018 after I got engaged and had initially planned for a May 2020 wedding. With COVID, we went through multiple (and I really do mean MULTIPLE) venue and date changes before being able to finally have our wedding, and Jessica stuck by our side throughout it all, went to infinity and beyond, and delivered MAGIC. I had lots of ideas for what I wanted in a wedding, but I wanted a planner because I didn't know how to put it all together. I found Jessica after lots of research and meeting with other Bay Area planners. What got me was her personality. I feel like planners are professional, organized, and detailed, because it comes with part of the job, but Jessica has heart. She was the point person for all our other vendors, collected all the quotes, managed the set up and takedown of the event, coordinated the event as I imagine all planners do. She also thought of all the tiny details I would've never thought about--let's be real, no matter how "on top of it" I may be in my normal life, I'm not a professional wedding planner no matter how much time I spend on Pinterest and wedding blogs. She even had lash glue on hand when one of my bridesmaid's falsies starting coming off and none of us thought to bring any. In between all of this, she was incredibly supportive and kept the momentum of wedding planning going when it almost completely died down for me after all the postponing. Being in healthcare, the pandemic made my life busier than it already was, but Jessica was flexible in arranging our pre-COVID in-person meetings and was timely in responding to my emails no matter when I sent them. I feel so, so lucky that we had Jessica, because I don't think we would've had this wonderful experience with any other planner. Our final wedding plans actually only came together in a matter of weeks (when we found out we were allowed to proceed), and by then, I was so exhausted from work that I really didn't have the energy to put myself into every detail of the wedding. I remember sending Jessica a text the morning of while I was getting hair/makeup done because I had a last-minute panic about something random, and she replied, "We're all set! Don't worry about anything!" I don't think I ever told her, but I felt myself let out a HUGE sigh of relief knowing Jessica was here for us, as she had been since the very beginning.

Once we realized planning a wedding is not as easy as it seems, we reached out to Rebecca after running into her while planning someone else's wedding at our venue. Although it was luck that we found her, we would hire her again in a heartbeat. Rebecca is extremely organized, extremely creative, and a really, really, really nice person to be around. Both the planning and day of our wedding were such a joy, and we have Rebecca to thank for that. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts, and Rebecca worked equally well with nervous parents on logistics, with me on design details, and coordinating with vendors. (Our photographer and officiant hadn't worked with her before, and both separately commented that she was exceptionally organized and professional). Rebecca even managed to kindly wrangle all 17 members (seriously) of our "boisterous" bridal party. If you're wavering on hiring a planner, just do it. MY advice: definitely get the handheld CO2 cannon gun! Our friends were speechless and have never seen anything like it. It kept the vibes up the whole night (just look at the photos). We were having a hard time finding a relatively younger DJ in the wedding industry that would understand our music tastes and came across the Bilo Events page. When I saw DJ DUBYANG in the lineup, I knew it had to be him! We know that he used to play at Arena SF, and that's exactly the vibe I wanted at my wedding -- club/EDM music. We were totally right because he mixed the music sooo seamlessly and felt out the crowd. No notes!! 10/10. Fire set. Everyone had the best time. We keep getting compliments from people telling us about the excellent music choices. He also had a great pool party playlist he recommended for cocktail hour that was perfectly curated. It was giving Vegas day club. :-) We wanted to change the timing on our processional and grand entrance songs and they were able to loop and cut those no problem, even when we asked the day before the wedding. They use a custom wedding planning & music curation app that easily allowed us to upload the exact version of music we wanted from Spotify/ Youtube/ SoundCloud for all parts of our ceremony and reception and write notes that we wanted them to pay attention to. It was really easy to navigate! Winston checked in on us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process and had a few meetings with us. So easy to work with and so nice! He was able to understand the vibe we were going for quickly. Wedding day, everything went smoothly, sound was great, and he was a great emcee as well. We would recommend him over and over again to everyone! Also, they offer a lot of other services, such as photobooth and studio-esque photography. If I had known they offered this beforehand, I probably would have booked some of these services through them as well to make life easier.

Previously we felt like our planner was too busy for us and that we were just another thing on her list that she could hardly remember anything about us, but with Jenni it felt like every time we met, or even between meetings just through texts or emails, that we were the center of her attention. She had every detail handled even those that we had no idea to think about. She took our loosely scattered wedding plans and put them together flawlessly to create our perfect wedding. We had a destination wedding weekend with multiple events, and my husband and I spent the whole weekend asking each other if we could even imagine what the weekend would be like without Jenni and thanking God we decided to make the switch! Jenni was more than just a dedicated and hands on planner/coordinator, she's also a talented artist/designer and, the best part, a great friend to spend time with. She made multiple trips to Cabo, where our wedding was, to be sure things were perfect despite us not being able to be there. I knew nothing about wedding planning when we started, and I have no eye for design or even planning whatsoever, but if I have any advice for those starting to plan it is that a wedding planner is by far the most important factor. At first, we thought we could plan our wedding on our own, but as busy early-career professionals, we quickly realized we needed someone we could trust completely to carry out our vision without too much oversight. Jenni offered exactly that. From our first meeting, we felt listened to and could tell that she genuinely understood what we wanted out of the wedding and knew exactly how to handle the mountain of tasks necessary to make that vision a reality. Throughout the planning process, Jenni made it possible for us to plug into and out of planning as needed, and at every check-in, we were amazed by how much progress she made. It was not uncommon for us to raise questions or needs at these check-ins only for her to tell us that she had anticipated them and handled them exactly how we would've wanted. Without Jenni, we simply could not have had the wedding we had. Since Jenni is so experienced and beloved by vendors and venues she's worked with, she was able to curate a team that perfectly matched our taste. There's no way we would've found our venue--which was nothing short of magical--without Jenni, because the owners of the venue don't host many weddings but have a personal relationship to Jenni, so the venue is not something generic you would find on Google or wedding venue sites. Also, all of our vendors had worked with Jenni before and, as a result, had either worked with each other or at the venue before. This made the wedding that much better because the vendors were comfortable and familiar with each other and with the venue, so they could better focus on their work and have fun while doing so. If you want a wedding that uniquely reflects your relationship, choose Jenni, who has the connections to make that possible. If it's any indication, every vendor we worked with praised Jenni and told us how lucky we were to have the best wedding planner. Nothing phased Jenni. She is incredibly organized and a spreadsheet master. Having attended our share of weddings as guests, we have definitely come across planners that seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Jenni is the complete opposite of that. Jenni handled everything that came our way with grace, levity, and a smile. The day before our wedding, Jenni remarked that "Nothing scares me anymore," and that is 100% true from everything we observed. At no point throughout the planning process or the wedding did Jenni make us feel stressed. She only ever made us feel calmer because we knew that the wedding was in good hands and that we did not need to worry. What makes Jenni special is that she is also the loveliest person on top of being a master wedding planner. You can tell that she loves her work and genuinely cares for her clients. During the rehearsal and wedding, she made the effort to speak with our family members and friends, and everyone loved her instantly and could tell that the wedding was going to be incredible in her capable hands. Having her as a wedding planner often felt like having an old friend taking care of things for you. We sincerely cannot imagine a better wedding planner than Jenni. The smartest wedding planning decision you can make is to hire Jenni and her team. Trust us, you won't regret it!

We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. I felt that Ann…read morewas not adequately detail oriented for the size and complexity of our event, although ultimately everything turned out great. Pluses: 1. Ann is friendly and professional. She made me feel special during the planning process. 2. We technically had not paid her for wedding planning- only for the day of coordination - but she was happy to meet with me at length before the wedding and also met with the florist and my sister who was involved in the planning. She made a special site visit and made helpful suggestions to my sister. 3. Ann appears to be very experienced. She thought of issues to consider during the wedding planning which I never would have thought of including considering how to position readers in the ceremony seating arrangement, where parents most likely should sit, etc. She similarly gave helpful suggestions for the order of the procession. She recommended making lists of people to pick up centerpieces, leftover cake, and other equipment from the wedding so that the day of went more smoothly. I felt that her suggestions helped us feel more relaxed on the day of the event because many things were "taken care of." 4. When my sister discovered at the last minute that the chairs that arrived were incorrect, Ann spent time with the vendors and helped correct the problem. Behind the scenes, she took care of everything and I didn't even know about it. Minuses: 1. During the pre-wedding preparation periods, I started to notice that she failed to read most of the emails I sent her or CC'ed her on to update her on changes in plans. 2. At the rehearsal I was shocked to find that she had a beautiful timeline and outline of all the details of the wedding which she didn't seem familiar with (I heard her daughter puts the packet together for her). She was inefficient in conducting the rehearsal due to lack of familiarity with the details. 3. The day of the wedding she was often not present or readily available, even when we called her cell phone. 4. She failed to make sure corsages and bouquets were available for the photos even though we followed her timeline so she should have known when to bring them. 5. I heard afterward that she snapped at a family member who came to kindly ask why the candles for the ceremony had been removed. 6. When the time of the bouquet toss came I realized that she had not made the toss bouquet available to me and she was unavailable at that time. I ended up using my real bouquet which luckily i was ok with parting with. Overall, I will say this- my wedding turned out beautifully. I didn't feel that this was really because of Ann, but I think that she may have done some behind the scenes work that helped. There weren't any major disasters, but I wondered if she would have been able to handle it if there had been. A simpler and smaller wedding may make for a different story. In addition, her strengths may be more in helping with the planning process than in the hectic day of coordination.
