He never came back. He said he would drop something off that night, but never did. He never answered his phone again. I paid him 2/3 of his price and he disappeared without even having the old tile fully removed. It cost me more than his initial quote to have someone else come and finish the job. I don't think this business exists anymore, but just in case, I'm going to leave this review to say DO NOT HIRE this contractor. And if you do, do not pay anything in advance.

The work he did in my kitchen, guest and master baths, and on my fireplace all turned out great. When unanticipated obstacles arose (like issues with plumbing inside walls), he simply fixed the problems. We made many smaller changes to the agreed-on work - mostly additions to what we agreed to originally - and had no issue agreeing to a final bill. He's just a very reasonable person. He was on time every day of the project and worked full days. He wore a face mask from start to finish. Carlos was prompt, honest, upfront about pricing, and clear about what needed to be done. I am extremely happy that I hired him, and my deck now looks great and meets my HOA's requirements. When I called Floro about my scratched tub, he hung up on me. A few months after the tile installation, we knew something was wrong when we saw water leaks on the ceiling of the room below the recently tiled bathroom. The plumber we hired said the height of the tile prevented the toilet from being installed correctly: the stack needed to be extended. Essentially, the water was leaking into the subfloor. When I called Floro about the toilet being installed incorrectly and that I had to hire a plumber to fix the problem, he said "what can I say" and hung up again on me. I suggest you think twice before working with this group.

This project was not an exciting "Lets update our 20 year old bathroom and make it stylish and pretty". Instead the project started due to an undetected leak, the stress that comes from random water leaking in random places, and was filled with questions and concerns. Countless others "assured" me that this was a plumbing issue or just due to some neglected maintenance on a 5 year old new-install shower - and then wanted to blast holes everywhere to "find" the leak. At the same time, I did not want to rip apart a shower to then find out it might be plumbing and now a full on repair. I felt overwhelmed in making the wrong choice and doing 2 projects chasing my tail. Lucas walked me through all the typical scenarios that he has seen, leaning on the most probably is a structural fail of the shower system and then did a methodical exploration. A couple hours later and a minimal demo, he confirmed that it was in fact not plumbing related and was def. a failure of the shower system -- and walked me through what it would take. Once his team was onsite, they were focused - creating a whole "clean room" at the entry to the bathroom. 1 day demo, 1 day water-proof, 2 days tile - all while providing the proper time for dry-out and leak testing between steps.
