I do not recommend working with Manny and Jasmine. As a property manager, I hired them for a full apartment renovation in Escondido after the previous tenants left the unit in very poor condition. While this was more than a standard turnover, the project still should have taken no more than two months. Instead, it dragged on for several months. I ultimately fired them after repeatedly being charged for work I had not approved, being told crews were on-site when they weren't, and constantly getting the runaround on the project's status. After hiring a new contractor, he identified the source of a lingering urine odor within minutes - something that had gone unresolved for months because Manny was never on-site. The workmanship was also poor. I had to hire another contractor to redo the staircase. When I went to pick up the flooring, the shop let me know that they always had that flooring in stock. Jasmine spent almost a month telling me it was "ordered and on the way". Within one week of the tenant moving in, the upstairs shower leaked into the downstairs bathroom because the wrong shower valve had been installed, requiring remediation. I felt bad for the tenant, whose move-in had already been delayed by a month due to Jasmine promising the work would be done by a specific date and then having to extend the renovation. They also were not familiar with basic California smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector requirements, which I had to explain to them. A rule that Manny as a contractor and Jasmine as a project manager should know. As of today, they still owe the homeowner money for the remediation. Jasmine has sent photos claiming a check was mailed, but we've never received it. I stopped responding to her because I don't trust her. I hired them to make my job easier. Instead, I spent months correcting mistakes, disputing unapproved charges, managing delays, and ultimately hiring another contractor, who completed their mistakes and remaining work in less than two weeks. I would also like to note that their Yelp profile advertises "damage restoration" services, but that was not my experience. Their estimate included removing mold-affected drywall in a water heater closet. However, before I terminated their services, they told me that this was "not something they do." read more

We had a toilet leak in our upstairs second bathroom. I lost all trust and desire to use the mitigation company that did the mitigation portion of the project to fix our flooring, so I decided to look elsewhere. I had a lot of trouble trying to find someone to come repair our LVP flooring since everyone was busy or didn't want to take on a smaller project. After researching Yelp I contacted Manny and explained the situation and the fact we had extra flooring and baseboard. He was willing to fix our flooring. Because of their busy schedule it took several weeks of going back and forth trying to figure a good day to get it done but we finally got the flooring fixed and it looks great!! The only reason for the four star review is because of the higher final cost than I was originally quoted. But it was worth finally getting our flooring done. The gentleman that worked on our flooring was very professional, polite and efficient getting the work done in a timely manner and cleaning his mess. We hired Manny & Sons Flooring to install our new Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring. Manny and Crew did a great job from start to finish. They were very responsive, called my wife back in less than 10 minutes. They gave us a very reasonable estimate. Once scheduled, the work was completed in only two days. From demo and leveling, to installation and clean up. Our new floor looks great. We had them do the complete demo, removing carpet, tile and linoleum. They then leveled the floor and installed the new flooring and completed the work with the replacement of the baseboards. Jasmine painted the baseboards after I supplied the paint. The day after I noticed a small amount of glue on the floor and Manny came back to clean it up without any extra charge. We are very grateful to Manny, Jasmine, Alfredo and Johnny. Flooring is their forte but when it comes to other services they are not qualified. They said they could paint my kitchen cabinets and replace the sink and countertop. It took them 5 wks. There was no plan, there were 6 days of no shows and no calls. Sometimes Jasmine would answer my ?'s and sometimes not. They were very unorganized, no scheduled work days. They came when they wanted. Manny came to put the hardware on the cabinets but didnt have the tool to cut the screw so it would be several more days until someone came. The had several different people on my job. They lost the hardware to one of my lazy Susan's and were to come back today but of course, they didn't show up. I hate writing this but they are so unprofessional and unorganized. I now must hire someone to build shelves in place of the lazy susan. If you used them for floors they do well but don't let them tell you they do anything else. read more

Horrible business ethics. Have to call a phone number to schedule someone to come out and provide an estimate. The someone is the wife of the installer and scheduled appointment date and time with me. I took time off work to meet with her for the estimate. Then I get a text message stating the appointment time changed without even checking with me first. On the day of the appointment, I wait an extra 20 minutes and then call the office because no one shows up. No one answers the phone but right away I receive a text message stating they are in. meetings and need to change the appointment to 3pm. ABSOLUTELY the worst. It was time for new flooring. We had 1750 feet of 20-year-old carpet and glued down bamboo flooring. I started getting bids from some of the larger box stores. You have to shop around, I was shocked to see how much wheeling and dealing I needed to do. I reached out to Manny and Sons. I received a straightforward bid and he spent time during the process giving me tips on how I could save money on my project (especially with materials). Manny and his team did not disappoint, they completed a demo of glued down wood and carpet (and prep including leveling and repairs). They then installed a beautiful luxury vinyl plank floor. Overall, I was impressed with the timeliness and attention to detail of his entire team. It was also great to support a small family business.
