Nice Guy Appliance Repair responded within the hour of us contacting them and was able to set an appointment for same day for Frank to come check out our fridge. He was able to quickly diagnose that our compressor was at the end of its life, and gave us some honest feedback/options and fair pricing. After talking it over, we decided to have Frank come out and replace our compressor with a new one. It was nice that they send a link to track the technician but I don't think it was working. Good thing Steve called ahead and informed me he was due to arrive in 30 minutes. He arrived along time and quickly diagnosed the problem. It was a bad compressor which required about a two order window. Steve was very professional and advised to contact the manufacturer to see if it was under warranty. After contacting the manufacturer it was still under warranty but they require a service technician in their network to come out and diagnosed which would cost $145 and then they would order the parts. So glad JEA's service call was $50. Otherwise, I would have used JEA to continue the repair but it would cost me over $900.
