Nice place, but the sewer smells bad by the door. These were about the 4th property to spring up in the Old Market a few years ago. First the Old Market lofts, the Rows at SoMa, some in NoDo and what I call the Hiro lofts. I know they chose a more permanent name because one day it is a Hiro 88 and soon may be Smashburger or something. ( that is completely hypothetical). I have had my eye on other dwellings in the Old market lately so I thought I would look here.
As any new build downtown I saw them go up. Basically just plywood, TyVek and siding to stand between the elements and the interior drywall.
Aside from looking flimsy in contrast to the Skinner Mac building across the street they do have nice layouts. good design inside and great location outside. there is always something going on there, but I don't know why they haven't been able to fill the western most retail location.
I can only assume that it is the rental prices. Way too high for what it offers when there are other choices in the vicinity.
