I have 2 bad hips and shouldn't have to take 11 flights of stairs several times a day just to be in my apartment. Someone stole the only camera that was on the 11th floor and it hasn't been replaced. The day the first floor flooded leaving several people displaced Sherri the office person actually went home when so many residents were without a place to sleep after the flooding. She actually looked residents in the face said there was nothing she could do and went home. 14 people that live here had no one to help when it was a building issue. She looked these people in the eye and went home. Who does that. She is by far the worst thing to happen to cityview in the 3 yrs I've been here. She hates her job, clearly she knows nothing about being a manager and she has the worst attitude I've ever seen. And I live here that should say something. Please end her suffering and those that live here and fire her. She is horrible at her job, she clearly hates it here and we all hate her being here. I can have a petition signed within a day. Everyone feels the same way as I do but if you don't think so, give me 24 hrs. This petition will be signed by almost everyone within 24 hrs. She is not the person for this job. Just ask every resident here. Minus Lou. She's a huge suck up

DO NOT RENT FROM ANY PROPERTY THAT LANDMARK PROPERTIES MANAGES!! They have an 'F' epIQ grade…read moreranking on apartmentratings.com for a reason. They engage in unscrupulous business practices by making up thousands of $$ in erroneous charges not specified in any lease and prey on college students and their families. Their 'customer service' 'manager', Adam Scarbrough, seems to derive pleasure in doing so.

In my experience, there are certain qualities that should be looked for in a good property manager…read more/ landlord. Accessibility is one. Another is quality, prompt maintenance work with good follow-up. I found none of these from Landmark group. For starters, if there is an emergency of any kind, tough luck. These people do not hold office hours and they do not answer phones. The website may look fancy if you are considering dealings, but it is absolutely useless for tenants. And the "emergency maintenance" number listed? Just goes to a voicemail box that will not be checked for at least a day. Let me just list the issues that I ran into after a 12 month lease: -Upstairs shower leaking through the ceiling. I was able to get someone to cut a hole in the ceiling and check the pipes, fixing the leak, but they left the hole open for nearly two months. Finally, the hole was patched and filled, with promises to apply a fresh coat of paint that never happened. -Burst pipes between the kitchen and the garage. I was without running water for two days (turned it off myself) before plumbers were sent. There was still a hole in the ceiling when I moved out. The plumbers highly recommended a space heater in the garage to prevent re-freezing because the pipes were not insulated well at all. They claim they would have gotten me one, but they had not been reimbursed for space heaters purchased for other tenants. I left my property manager a voicemail relaying the suggestion and got a text message back saying he'd ask about it. Never heard another thing. I bought a space heater. -Spring rains come, the roof leaks through the walls into the first floor. I notify Landmark and am told a roofer will come out. Nothing. The leaking has now intensified into a second floor hallway and 2 rooms. I get a call from a roofer, but he never shows up. The leak was never fixed and soaked a couple of moving boxes. -The dishwasher is incredibly old and floods at least once per month. Finally, all of these items were noted as discrepancies when it became time to get our deposit back. The impression that I got is that Landmark Group does not care at all about neither its residential properties nor the tenants living there. Also, all this was from their apparent "premier" residential property. Bottom line, DO NOT CONDUCT DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY.

I bought a Hildy Home a little over a year ago. It seems their approach is to build a new home…read morewith little variation from many others in the same neighborhood. I think this keeps the price down, but it does get a little bit cookie cutter feeling. Which isn't always bad, but when you pay $400k for the home, you really don't like to have 5 others just like it in the same neighborhood. Otherwise the home was a petty good cost for the size and finishings. We have been happy with it so far. My only other complaint about the company is the service. During final closing and during the warranty period. The contacts are really gruff with no customer service. You don't get the feeling that they want to talk to you, ever. When we had warranty issues, we were to contact the vendors/third parties directly. This puts a lot of burden on the home owner to figure out who to call and arrange appointments. Most of the vendors were great with good customer service. We did have troubles with one who never came at all though.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The worst building quality and customer service. The home…read more'looks nice' but it's anything but! Where to start with the laundry list of issues in this 5 year old home?!? Landscaping/grading issues/poor drainage, basement drain tile not laid correctly, deck not to code, chimney flue not to code, roof not to code (had to replace ENTIRE roof!) driveway settling way too much for a 5 year old house, poor caulking of outdoor siding....and I'm sure there's more! This house has been a money pit. We are well over $40,000 in repairs! Thought this would be our home for many years to come, but we have now spent time and money with improvements, to where it should have been in the first place. Hildy homes representatives are condescending, rude, unhelpful, and only care about making fast money. They truly don't care about their buyers. No integrity. They hire shoddy contractors as well. I hope people truly take these reviews seriously, as I'd hate to see other people go through the financial, emotional, and physical toll this house has caused us. DO NOT BUILD WITH HILDY HOMES.

I really enjoyed living in The Triangle apartment this past year. The courtyard was a wonderful…read moreplace to gather, grill, and sit by the fire at night. Maintenance was always prompt with our requests and our problems were fixed quickly. It's kind of a loud area, lots of sirens many of the days. Having Farine + Four below us was always a wonderful treat when we wanted some coffee or a snack. The gym is very simple and small. Usually if there's more than 3 people in there at once, it feels crowded. Our apartment is very modern, very new and has wonderful amenities. The balcony we had was no wider than 1 foot, so we only had space to put plants. But other balconies were larger and could fit chairs. Bathroom storage is wonderful. Lots of drawers. Kitchen storage is really good. Plenty of space to hold all pots, pans, plates, cups and bowls. Overall, very nice and accommodating!

Was repeatedly threatened by mgmt with eviction (with notice) from the time I moved in to the time…read morethey sold based on false claims that I was using industrial equipment in my apartment. I repeatedly told them I was using a blow dryer and blender and begged them to come out and see how thin the walls were and see if anything could be done to fix the problem and they refused saying apartment management was a work from home job. Turns out they forgot to drywall over the top 4 feet of brickwork in the apt to the left. I was told it didn't matter if I was making normal noise and it was during the day. So I became terrified to sew which I do for a living, to have people over to socialize or do anything in my apartment lest my neighbors complain. Meanwhile when I complained my new upstairs neighbor was loud and my apartment causing leaks into my apartment every 7-10 days for months (eventually flooding my workspace) they took her side saying it was a construction issue and their hands were tied bc they can't control repair timelines. This was even after the plumber said she had to be putting 20 gallons of water on the floor and she admitted to spilling a large amount of water. The neighbor who was falsely accusing me of using industrial equipment moved. They sold the building. I've stayed in my apartment and have had no problems with neighbors or management since.
