I decided to get on yelp & find a locksmith. Superstar came in about 20 minutes the locksmith Yoni was super professional he explained how our lock system worked and the steps needed to secure the door. Yoni was persistent at figuring out a viable solution once we realized that the door lock could not be repaired/replaced without the door being changed which was not an option on a Saturday afternoon to get custom metal & glass push doors. Yoni used his skillful (Mcguyver) moves to take off the bar on the door & turn the broken lock so that the door would lock & the building would be secured. Yoni also gave us some recommendations for other doors that would work for a commercial building like ours. The customer service was outstanding & the will be the official locksmith for our church needs in the future. Superstar Locksmiths are the All Stars of locksmiths in the DMV area.

Unfortunately I didn't realize the lock was broken until after I signed for the payment and the serviceman left. I felt like he took advantage of us. When I called the next day to let them know it was broken, the person I talked to seemed frustrated at me, the customer whose door will not lock because of their work. He asked me to send pictures of the lock, which I did, and I did not receive any response. When asking for an update a week later, I still did not receive a response. Yesterday, I contacted probably ten locksmiths through Yelp. Shiran from DMV Locksmith responded so quickly, and had the most affordable offer. He even offered to come the same day. The whole time he was working on my door, I got the sense that he is a friendly, honest person. Great customer service. He tried replacing the cylinder lock, but he discovered the issue was in the mechanism instead. He was able to tell me what was wrong with it, and advised me where to go from there. He did not charge me anything! I wish I had contacted him originally when I was locked out-- his lockout price is much lower. Next time I need a locksmith for anything, I will call DMV Locksmith.
