1 STAR -- EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL…read more This place is extremely unprofessional. No one answers the phone, and the information they have listed online is inaccurate. I had just purchased a vehicle that is brand new to me. The seller drove the vehicle to my rental community, dropped it off, and removed their tags. The vehicle had not even been sitting there for two hours after the tags were removed before GIR Towing and Recovery came into my community and towed it. What concerns me even more is the way the vehicle was removed. Instead of placing the vehicle on a flatbed, they dragged it out of the community. I sincerely hope there is no damage to my vehicle because of the way it was towed. I work from home and began calling them at approximately 12:30 p.m. I continued calling and sending text messages throughout the entire afternoon until I got off work at 7:00 p.m. Not one person answered my calls or responded to my messages. The phone number they provide is a cell phone number with no voicemail box set up, so you cannot even leave a message. Their information online says they are open 24 hours, but when I physically went to the location at approximately 7:20 p.m., they were CLOSED. I was then told that they actually close at 5:00 p.m. So which is it? If you are not open 24 hours, your business information should not say you are. If customers cannot reach anyone by phone or text, those should not be advertised as reliable ways to contact the business. At minimum, there should be a working phone number, voicemail, accurate business hours, and some way for a person whose vehicle has been towed to actually reach someone. Now I have to go back this morning, and because their posted hours apparently aren't accurate, I don't even know what time they actually open. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. My biggest concern now is getting my newly purchased vehicle back and making sure there is no damage from the way it was removed and towed.

The price on each occasion was reasonable and they always picked up my car within the time prescribed and always left the receipt on my front seat (as advised). They took my car back minutes after I arrived, which has never been my experience anywhere else, and diagnosed & took care of the problem my normal service center couldn't within an hour. While there, I asked for a quote for tires, as I knew my front two were on their last legs, I had been planning to replace them next when the mechanical issue arose. I then blew a tire just a few hours after leaving, and my spare was already on - I called them while waiting on my tow home, they recommended me someone to tow it back (who showed up exactly when they said they would) got the tires there by the next morning and had it done before end of day. Prices were very reasonable for the work. I drive a car with 200k+ miles on it that's over 15 years old - car issues are incredibly stressful for someone on a single income with a paid-for car who can't feasibly do a car payment at this time, particularly in a place that's harder to get around on public transportation than more urban areas. I appreciate Walls more than I can say for being so helpful and making a super stressful situation so much easier, and am sold on them for my maintenance here on out.

Used to be a place in Dover I used to take my vehicles in for repair. The two previous owners used to not charge for a diagnosis and if they couldn't fix it they didn't charge. Not the case with the new owner. Hadn't been to Walls in a few years. Mainly because of the distance from my house. The previous times there they did good work at a fair price. Got a check engine light on my RAV4. They hooked it up to their computer and it came back as an air valve issue. They replaced the valve and ran the vehicle and the light returned. Thinking it's a computer issue which they couldn't fix. Long story short they didn't charge anything because they couldn't fix it. That's what wins you longtime customers and writing this review to highly recommended them!
