A few weeks ago, Ryan provided his expertise to our 94 year old neighbour in the same building to do a similar conversion. Ryan was professional and completed the job in a very diligent manner. The job was very well-done and Ryan provided precautionary ideas to make the shower secure and safe. Our elderly neighbour and her family were very pleased and thankful to Ryan. At the same time, we decided to move our 92 year old mother-in-law to live with us so that we could take care of her and walk together with her through her last journey in life. One of the obstacles was to add an additional bathroom with a shower. We consulted Ryan, Hitman Plumbing and the work was begun promptly. Mike was polite, professional, patient (with all my questions and my nose in his work space) and very knowledgeable. Mike showed me the problems with his camera, explained and then clearly told me what he would be using and how he could fix the issues. The video footage was eye opening and fantastic to see. He used hydro jetting to cut through many feet of roots (at least 5' of clog in one difficult spot), and then flushed everything out. Mike went above and beyond, persevered to getting through the 25+ years of roots clog. It took an hour of hard work to get through just 5 feet, yet he did it... when I am sure others would have just insisted I dig up the area and spend a fortune solving the problem. After flushing the whole system, he again used the camera to confirm everything was clean. Mike advised me on future handling and gave me options to consider on how to repair the builders bad design and access that made the job so difficult. Having Mike here for the outside drains, I asked him to check the inside...and he again showed me the buildup from my kitchen sink to the main drain - in less than 5 minutes, he had the kitchen sink draining faster than I had ever seen before. Called a bunch of plumbers but they were either off for the holidays or booked solid into the New Year. Pioneer was referred by another company as a very reputable company to work with. I called them up and Matthew showed up within the hour, assessed the damage and got to work. He was able to fix the issue in about 45 minutes and my sink was back to working order. My strata did not care that 3 units were without water, but Jacob handled the situation with complete professionalism and guaranteed the job would get done, all the while assuring me and speaking to my neighbours to explain the process step by step.
