This place seems like the go-to spot for marina boats to stock up on supplies, and it doubles as a perfect place to pick up some unique souvenirs. You'll find local artists selling everything from handmade jewelry, cutting boards that make you want to chop something just for fun, rope baskets perfect for stashing things, and crochet clothing. If you're in the market for a memorable keepsake, this is your spot! The service was quick and friendly, which was much appreciated after we dragged ourselves in from our beach adventure. As for the food, we went with the clam chowder, chicken salad sandwich, and a strawberry banana smoothie, and they did not disappoint. After all that walking, it felt like we'd discovered a hidden oasis. The chowder was creamy, the sandwich was hearty, and the smoothie was the perfect reward for pretending to be outdoorsy. Now, let's talk about the flowers. The groundskeeper grows these massive, stunning blooms that are on every table, adding a lovely touch--until the bees decide to crash the party. Gorgeous? Yes. But watch out, because those bees are on a mission to turn your peaceful lunch into their own personal floral rave. All in all, a charming spot for food, souvenirs, and a few inevitable bee encounters!

Every pizza Greene's serves up has such a diverse blend of ingredients that gives each one a fun and unique style, but the Breakfast Za stands out among the rest. Sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar, and with green onion on top to finish. All these classic breakfast ingredients are brought together to create a pizza masterpiece. The scratch made dough is soft, but baked to perfection giving the crust that perfect crunch. This pizza is one of my favorite cures for a Saturday morning hangover and I would highly recommend going to give it a try.

Here's a review that is firm, factual, and likely to be taken seriously by other customers:…read more I was really disappointed with our experience at Greens Corner. From the beginning, the service felt unfriendly. We were seated outside, and when our food was brought out I politely asked for napkins. Instead of bringing them, our waitress told me I could go inside and get them myself because she was "so busy." That immediately made us feel like we were an inconvenience. What happened next was even more surprising. A young child, probably around 4 years old, was quietly drawing with sidewalk chalk. He wasn't bothering anyone and it honestly seemed like a sweet, harmless moment. A woman who appeared to be the manager or owner came outside and told him he needed to clean up his "chalk mess" because they don't allow chalk on their sidewalk. The child's mother came over to understand what was happening, and after the conversation she ended up getting water from her own car to wash the chalk away. The little boy looked completely confused. Watching this unfold right next to our table left a really bad impression. It felt unnecessarily harsh and lacked compassion for a small child who wasn't hurting anyone. Unfortunately, the food also didn't make up for the experience--it was underwhelming, especially for the price. Between the unfriendly service, the disappointing food, and the way the family with the toddler was treated, we won't be returning. I understand businesses have policies, but kindness and customer service matter, and this experience felt like it was missing both.

I love their Twisted Sister and sandwiches though so I periodically go back for those. I visited this location on Sunday 3/18/2024 at around 5:30 PM. There were 2 cars in front of me so I was third in line and these cars were full of people all getting drinks. The first car took about 20 minutes to serve. The second car took about 10 minutes to serve. I waited about 30 minutes just to be told no because they close at 6. This is fair because I pulled up to the window at 6 PM. What we wanted probably would have taken her 5 minutes to make. The part that really bothered me is that she wasted my time instead of coming out of the booth to tell me she wasn't going to serve me she allowed me to wait 30 minutes while she sat in her booth, then allowed me to drive up, only to tell me no. Plain and simple the girl was lazy. I doubt every employee would have done what she did in that situation but this was a horrible experience.

Type of cuisine: Espresso beverages, croissant-based pastries and breakfast/lunch sandwiches. Sweet pastries also available, though we were in a savory mood on this visit. Ambiance: Well, the literal hole-in-the-wall that is Shirlee Bird has very little to speak of, though the tiny space, including the display of food offerings is cluttered and packed full of everything. Merchandise, artwork, food and supplies cover every inch of the small walk-up counter space. The vibe is chill and very Bellingham from the 90s. It's sweet and nostalgic. We were happy to see that tables and chairs are available inside the building's lobby courtyard, complete with fountain feature. We took our spots and explored the historic building, climbing several floors of stairs and noticing the businesses housed within until our food/beverages were ready. What I ordered: The Croissant ($13) and The Griller ($13), as well as a sundried tomato, pesto gallette were our food orders. A dark chocolate mocha, an Americano, and two steamed milks with caramel sauce for dessert beverages. What I loved: The mocha, while way to hot to sip for quite some time, had a lovely, deep, dark flavor, not too sweet and well-balanced. The sandwiches were yummy, including herby scrambled eggs and flavorful, smoky ham. If only the croissant wasn't burnt to a blackened crisp, I think the sandwiches would have been amazingly wonderful, creamy, dreamy. Why I loved it: The service was friendly - though it seems the young barista was in a hurry, preparing for the upcoming morning rush, and eager to get us in and out. The food had so much potential for being yummy, and the space is quaint and cozy and reminiscent of my high school and college days spent in Fairhaven cafes and eateries. Cost: High
