Absolutely amazing!! Super knowledgeable, professional and customer service orientated. I have been using JJB for over a year now and never had a bad experience. Jason is reliable and professional and knows what he is doing. He handles some very complex issues for me and I never have any problems with him. He does an outstanding job each and every time. You are not going to find anyone better than JJB. Also, his billing is very fair and they are a pleasure to deal with. read more

Jason worked on my husband's computer (2009 MacBook Pro). It was bogged down with photos, videos and old files. He answers the phone and scheduled an appointment. He came to our place masked-and-gloved up like a Covid 19 proof warrior. He charges by the hour but was only needed for about 20 minutes, but we happily paid the full rate ($100). We used Venmo to send it along! All the files transferred to the external drive and the O.G. MacBook is running like a champ! Jason bought us more time cuz I was ready to just get a new computer. Well done, sir. read more

All amazing things to say!!! Super responsive to set up a time to come and service our needs. Between email for help and coming to fix our issues - took less than 24 hours. Reasonable on cost. Super fast. The entire fix and set up of our new system took two hours. Totally professional and Jason was easy to speak with. I felt comfortable with him in our home. Five stars all day long! read more

Jason and JJB are life savers! Was told my mac was a goner, needed a new hard drive and keyboard. Figured I was in for $1000s of dollars. Mentioned it to Jason and I am now typing this, while working on said computer, having only spent a fraction of that amount!!!! Seriously, if you need ANYTHING computer related, call Jason and at the very least he'll tell you straight. More than likely he will probably become your forever go to call for any and all computer issues. THANK YOU JASON! read more

Was I ever glad I found Jason! I had a computer crash situation where my system was non-responsive and wouldn't even boot at all. I was starting to get quite nervous as I had a pile up of work and I couldn't afford the lost time needed to take my system in to a shop. Plus it was a Sunday. Luckily I found Jason on Yelp and called him up and he took the time to first troubleshoot my issue over the phone, followed by a trip to my place to work on it a mere 3 hours later. Talk about customer service. And then not only did he swiftly clean out my system and return it to good working order, but he advised me on how to fix 2 other pesky issues I was having with my system. All in well under an hour. Awesomeness, flat out! Knowing an honest, skilled, reliable computer repair tech who MAKES HOUSE CALLS, is pure gold. Kinda like having an awesome auto mechanic who you can trust to do the job right and not charge you an arm and a leg. If you need help with your PC or MAC, look no further, Jason's your guy. read more

I purchased a laptop with Windows 8 and I could not STAND IT! I needed major help and am not very computer savvy. Jason Jack Beeber Computer Consulting helped me more than I can say. He uninstalled the nightmare of Windows 8, and souped my computer up like a shiny new Cadillac (if a Cadillac could be a computer). I would highly recommend him for anyone who has ANY computer issues. He is friendly, honest, and affordable! read more

Jason is an excellent guy to have in your corner for anything WiFi related. We inherited a pretty hacked together WiFi set-up in the house we moved into a year ago and had been through plenty of routers, modems, and pointless calls with Spectrum when I found JJB on Yelp. He heard out the problems we'd been having and recommended a mesh network. He showed me what to order and installed it in no time. Now I get faster WiFi than I've ever had in this house, plus better coverage throughout. Highly recommend this guy, especially if you're in Highland Park--he's local! read more

Absolutely the Best! Jason and his team have handled my business' IT needs for over 4 years. He's always friendly, responsive, thorough, and professional. He not only fixes problems, but researches solutions to avoid future issues. He was essential in moving my staff to working remotely during the COVID crisis. His rates are fair and his billing is accurate. I recommend him to everyone. read more

Jason is a friendly, professional and budget-minded IT consultant. I told him what I needed, when I needed it by and that I was lucky I could turn my computer on. He not only fixed my computer, he upgraded programs, he cleaned it, taught me how to use it more efficiently and delivered it to me at my home at no additional charge. I have paid hundreds more for way less and I will never trust anyone but Jason with all of my computer needs. read more

My Mac laptop was running slowly. The "rainbow wheel" - which i believe is the technical term - kept spinning nonstop. Jason came over right away and fixed it for me. He's thorough, prompt, and a nice guy to chat with to boot. read more

Yelp coming through for me big time with this- found Jason through yelp, could not possibly be happier with the service. In this review, you will get one sentence, followed by a word summarizing that sentence. Because why not. A list of greatness: He fielded I would say 3 different phone calls from me with questions before I formally booked him to come out and upgrade my 2010 iMac to the latest greatest OS. CARING. He was friendly and patient every time we spoke, despite my insistence on repeating questions like a telephone robot. PATIENT He helped me to figure out every measure I could take to save me money and time- He did this before I had even confirmed he would be the one coming out. NO PRESSURE He made a nightime housecall because that was what my schedule would allow. FLEXIBLE He got his work done faster than expected and so he charged me less. HONEST Jokes are on point, super great energy- We had some tea and joked while he worked like a an 1800's scientist from the future- I don't even know what that means, but it was super relaxed. FUN Follow-up is welcome, and he even gave me a recommendation for a place to get some cosmetic computer work done (new screen). THOROUGH WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE. J. Is. a. G. read more

Jason just left the house after helping me get the wi-fi in my house extended for better use. One part of the house was a veritable dead zone. He was able to troubleshoot obstacles and got the Airport XPress and Airport Xtreme hooked up and running very efficiently. Jason was on time, professional yet friendly, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend him. read more

Jason is super responsive, addressed all of my concerns thoroughly (without making me feel silly), and turned my project around within my immediate time frame. Files of different formats all transferred to new hard drive, computer up to date with more storage available and old drive wiped clean. Glad I know who to call the next time we have major network issues that we can't figure out! read more

Excellent experience, he was very clear and calm with two total techo-phobic people. In short order he was able to efficiently set up our iphones and apple tv (a gift, once opened and then stayed in the box for a year), reconstituted our in-house wifi (was sluggish and used to crash, now it's speedy), got all our systems interconnected and working together, showed us cool tips and tricks for using apple tv and iphone, found the most economical answer (both cost and how-to-use) to all our problems. Super customer service. You want to use this guy! read more

I am soooo thrilled to have found Jason! He has been extremely helpful, patient, kind and prompt! He helped to set up my cable, Apple TV, DVD, Bose, Printer, computers, iPhone and anything with an on and off switch! We had slow wifi in our Eagle Rock house until Jason recommended a fix that solved all our problems instantly. This is after I had put in hours and hours of research online to try and fix it myself. Wish we would have called him a year ago... Super nice guy and really professional. read more

I've know Jason for years by walking his two dogs Pickles and Polly through the neighborhood. Finally I had the opportunity to use his service as the past few computer tech people have been dismal. It is extremely stressful for me to have anyone on my computer as it is one of my primary tools for my livelihood. My list of upgrades and changes were many and he dealt with them all patiently, positively, very quickly and responsibly. He was very reasonably priced and it was money well spent. The investment will ease my workload in the long run. When he was not sitting at my desk he fixed them remotely. I cannot say enough positive things about him as to know he is there when I have an emergency or whatever the issue lifts a great burden off my life. USE HIM! He is the best! read more

Jason wiped my mac, and upgraded me to Mountain Lion. He was fast, efficient, honest and wonderful. I consider myself computer savvy, but had a few questions about programs and short cuts etc. He took the time to show me all these extras! Completely worth the cost. If you've ever been irritated by waiting for computer service only to pay and not get the attention you needed or the answers, you need Jason! He's the best! read more

Jason helped our law office set up our new cloud server system and he was great! Our location seems to have our fair share of power outages and anytime we encounter a problem with the reboot he has always helped us by either accessing our computers remotely or coming into the office. He's always willing to work on any of the little technical issues we can't fix ourselves (a printer acting funny or problems with our VOIP phones). He also helped us set up our laptops to be able to work remotely using a free system when we had been using a paid service with way less quality in the past. We never feel like he is trying to "upsell" us or make himself indispensable like other IT guys we've had in the past and would DEFINITELY recommend Jason's services to other small businesses. read more

Jason has been my personal computer tutor for the past few years. As a senior citizen, my grasp of technology is not fast, but he exhibits remarkable patience as well as knowledge, making him the best teacher I have experienced. Add to that Jason's punctuality and availability for my questions as they come up between our sessions, and you have a young man who goes above and beyond to do an excellent job. I could not recommend him more highly. read more

I am a baby boomer who is less than tech savvy, even though I have some wonderful devices (iMac, iPhone 5, Kindle Fire, Nook, etc). Jason has been a huge help in so many areas that I can't really cover it all here. Needless to say, I am so much more able to use and enjoy my various tech gadgets after consulting with him. His knowledge in so many areas was simply incredible. I would have long lists of things I wanted to address and he would quickly handle each issue so that I would run out of things to handle before our time was up. You can only hope to get fair value for your money. Jason Jack's value is way beyond that and is what I call "exchange in abundance." As a bonus, his suggestions for best-of-the-web music websites has resulted in many hours of great listening. I am a repeat customer, and I am having my third consultation with him today. You simply can't go wrong by using his services. read more

Jason has been helping me with my IT needs for a couple of years, and every visit is a pure pleasure. He is amazing. I would sometimes have lists of 10 or even more issues or questions, and he would zip through them solving problems left and right, whether it was with my iMac or my iPhone or media players and even my e-readers (Nook and Kindle) and my bluetooth in my car. He even came to my office and handled some issues with my desktop at work. Recently I was experiencing problems streaming via my BluRay player and getting buffering on Netflix and Amazon Instant when my internet speed was not the problem. He suggested getting a Roku. He came over and installed my Roku 3, and it just totally handled the problem, but even more, I think the picture quality is better than with my BluRay player, and it has lightning fast operation. I am thrilled. While he was at it, he also handled a problem with my Nook that was not functioning in search mode. He is truly the answer man for all my tech needs, and his rates are very reasonable to boot. I call him my tech guru. read more
