Whenever I want really good coffee, I always come to Jitters and get a white chocolate mocha. If I want something a little sweeter, I ask the barista to put some coconut syrup in it and it makes the drink taste so good. My husband gets a white mocha with soy milk and that's really good, too! Have been a fan of Jitters ever since it opened and always enjoyed the Nutty Irishman. After a 15 year hiatus Outside, we made a few visits in May and still like the place. The expansion has worked out well. The artwork is a plus. Friendly employees and generally a quiet-ish atmosphere. read more

I guess this place is for locals only. My first time here and I order a large black coffee and a blueberry bagel. I get the black coffee right away but have to wait ten minutes for my blueberry bagel because the front counter is to busy talking to all the locals about there kids and dogs. read more

After hearing about it for years, I finally paid my first visit to Jitters in Eagle River. I tagged along on a meeting with a wedding caterer and it turned out to be a pretty good spot to get together to do some strategic weddin' plannin' over coffee. Whenever I go to a new coffee place, I always order a classic cappucino (or however you spell it -- I can never remember how many p's and c's are called for). For me, the classic cap is the best way to tell if the baristas know their stuff. Well, the coffee was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to order another one. I was there on a Friday afternoon and the place was bustling with happy regulars. Highly recommended if you're in Eagle River and need a jolt of caffeine or a place to sit a spell. read more

It's coffee shops like these that I miss since I moved to California. I really miss the good coffee and the environment. This is a place where everyone knows your name--from the early birds reading the paper and having breakfast, to the high school students 'studying' with their friends, to the post-mass goers on Sunday mornings. Every time I come home for a visit, I meet up with friends here. The coffee is great and there is plenty of seating (although one may not find a seat during the crowded weekends). I used to come in during the evenings for a specialty latte and to study for college exams (Go Seawolves!). The service is prompt and efficient, and the employees are friendly. And their drive-thru truck is a good alternative to having to get out of your car on those cold winter days--be prepared to wait in line though. read more

Sadly, I wasn't impressed. The "breakfasts" are pre-made and they heat them in the microwave. My Hot Mocha was lukewarm and nothing to write home about. Ordered a ham and cheese croissant since they said they could make one as they were out of them in the cooler. They put the whole thing together and shove it in the microwave so the bread was hard as a brick after a few minutes. read more

So I really don't want to sound like a negative Nancy as I rant but I'm going to finally make this honest review after it's been a long time coming. I used to really love this place, in fact me and the girls used to meet up here two or three times a week but the last year or two it's been a hit or miss so we stay home and make our own drinks or go somewhere else now due to the down fall. We still manage to stop by one of two times a month though, as it's a good place to meet up. But the drink have got very generic, bland, and even some times just flat out awful. They used to triumph over the competition, that's not the case anymore. The same drinks I used to love, now taste not so great.. my friend said hers tasted like chemicals the last couple of times. I've had a few drinks recently that really should have been warmer then they were, like I was drinking a basic pre-made regular old Chai straight from the fridge or straight creamer right out of the fridge. Nobody likes that. I do love going and getting the kids treats here though, that's the only thing that stands out to me anymore. They have lots of great gluten free options for them to choose from. Although they are not house made and I can find these same treats at other coffee shops those same vendors sell too. Although we got a rice crispy bar the other day that was extra stale and soggy, it had to be thrown away, even the kids wouldn't eat it and they eat everything. One of my friends ordered a sandwich which she complained about, my other friend ordered an Italian cream soda thinking maybe it would be better then her recent coffee orders. She described it as the worst Italian cream soda she had ever had. She complained it was watered down, and we all took a sit, and it was... maybe someone used a flat side? and it looked and tasted as if as if no one put any cream in it. They also have been notorious for messing up the orders more and more to the point it's every time we come in, something gets messed up, even the guy in front of us this last time, they got his order wrong...and then right after they messed up his, they messed up my friends order as well. And I really used to love the atmosphere of this place but in recent visits it has looked DIRTY! It could really use a facelift, especially in the bathrooms. I really have hope for this place and would change my two star to a five start in a heart beat if this place snapped back to the Jitters it used to be. read more

This place truly is as good at it gets, Jitters has a warm and inviting atmosphere with couches and a fireplace (if you can find a spot in front of this prime real estate!) The food is good, I havent tried that much, but I will say that their jumbo cinnamon rolls are delicious. They make all kinds of wonderful specialty coffees, whatever you want. And their syrup list is not lacking, something Starbucks can say is. Their Baristas are very friendly and seem to actually enjoy their job! Over all this place is wonderful and a part of a Sunday morning routine I share with my father. I love Jitters! read more

Prices, convenience, hours, and courtesy - this place has it all...plus live entertainment on occasion. They are the best!

I used to skip school and do my homework at Jitters. They have tables, couches, and a fireplace. The great hot chocolate and baked goods are one thing, the chill atmosphere is another. Never going back. From start to finish it took 25 minutes for two coffee drinks and two sandwiches to go. The customer service was non existent the entire visit; no one made eye contact, no said thank you or any type of greeting. They ask for your name to put on your cup, but the girl handing out drinks simply said what it was it a fairly quiet voice and piled them on the counter. Mine was barely warm and the espresso tasted burnt. After about 15 minutes, someone finally told the guy in the back he had an order up, he then took at least another 10 or more to make our two sandwiches. The turkey sandwich looked like something from a school cafeteria, it only had two thin slices of turkey on it; definitely not a $10 sandwich. The Mediterranean Veggie was okay, but the bread seemed stale. Very displeased with the entire visit, not going back. read more

Great place to meet friends, good coffee. They have free wireless internet so it's a popular place for people to hang out with their laptops. The service is good mostly and they have pretty good sandwiches at lunch, but breakfast buns, rolls etc. are baked off premise and are not always fresh looking. It can get pretty noisy in the evenings because high school kids hang out there often. There's lots of seating, but it can get crowded and busy. It's definitely a local fave! read more

Jitters is the hang out spot for almost anyone. It is the place to meet anyone you need to. The coffee is not the best I have ever had but it is good. The food is typical cafe food and it is good as well. As a kid I always loved their italian sodas! read more

Love this local coffee shop. Weekends can be a bit crowded, but that just tells you how good they are.

I am a former barista and know and love coffee. This is great coffee. The bariastas are knowledgeable and make great drinks. Ask for a surprise and it'll always taste wonderful. I love the almond joy. The different milks they carry are great as well, can go even with family members who are sensitive to milk. read more

Went here while staying in Eagle River, place has average prices, drinks were made correctly. They do offer some food items which is great! My favorite part was the atmosphere, there is this great group of older gentlemen that were just carrying on having a great time. It was lovely. read more

I don't get the hype. There is nothing special about the coffee. The few times I've been my coffee seemed watered down, like I was drinking dirty water. The atmosphere is okay but it's not soothing or relaxing, in fact it's the opposite, I can't wait to leave. I ordered food a couple times and was very disappointed. read more
