This is a very popular cafe with the locals in AK in the Eagle River area. We came here for breakfast with the family and they have a excellent selection of coffee/milk drinks and food items. Had the late which was one of the best during our trip. Also had the egg/cheese/sausage muffin and it was freshly baked in the oven. They had plenty of seats and a few larger tables even for our large group of 9. Overall a great local cafe to come for your morning coffee! If you want togo there's the mobile cafe directly across outside! read more

Jitters - 16oz Latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Eagle River, Alaska

I know it probably jacks up the prices but I do really like when a coffee shop does branding on their cups. Jitters has the most perfect cups that held the best drinks. They had some vegan choices but the pastry selection overall was extensive, as was the ginormous cinnamon roll--the size of my head. Bathroom art was super cute, too. read more

Never been here until now. Moved to Eagle River and this seemed like the place to be! A bit of a wait this busy Monday morning but I was in no rush. Coffee came out pretty fast and the baristas were nice. Delicious ham and cheese croissant. (Have to heat up yourself) I also love how huge this place is! I had no idea! Well decorated and good atmosphere. read more

Jitters - Iced vanilla latte w/ caramel drizzle - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Eagle River, Alaska

Nice interior. Bottlenecked order area, cold pastry selection and only one microwave to self heat food. Standard younger workers that cattle you on through with little care. Coffee was ok but closed bathroom? Seriously, in a coffee shop? read more

I stopped by Jitters in Eagle River to grab a coffee to go and honestly, I was really impressed. I decided to try a lavender latte, partly because it sounded fancy, and partly because I love trying something different. It was fantastic. Smooth, warm, and just the right amount of lavender. Not too strong, not too subtle. The barista was super friendly and called my name quickly. I almost didn't catch it because I was fiddling with my phone, but my coffee was ready before I even realized it. The shop itself has this cozy, welcoming vibe. There's plenty of space to sit, though I ended up just taking mine to go, so I can't fully comment on how comfy the chairs are, but it looked like a nice place to hang out or meet a friend. They also have some food items like sandwiches and sweet treats. The place was clean and organized, but still felt lived-in in a good way. I noticed they sell little things too like mugs, prints from local artists, and even some branded shirts. I almost grabbed one of those mugs, but I resisted... I already have too many mugs. Overall, Jitters is a charming little spot with excellent coffee, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be back, and next time I might just stay and try one of those sandwiches.

This was our cozy Christmas cafe where we spent most our early mornings with our toddler over the holidays. They have delicious espresso and teas. We loved all the fresh muffins and quiches. And the free to read bookshelf was a lovely touch. We so enjoyed our time here, eating/drinking our breakfasts and reading books with our son by the Christmas tree and decorated fireplace. Highly recommend for ambiance and espresso. read more

The atmosphere is beyond comfy and cozy, it's downright homey. Plenty of tables and chairs as well as large arm chairs by the fireplace. This is the perfect place to meet with a business associate or friends and family. Largely young people running things. They're all quick and efficient as well as professional and personable. I usually do an ice brew and grab a pre-packaged breakfast burrito that I can heat up in their microwave. That's good for me. They have the wi-fi and clean restrooms. Parking is insane. Nearly impossible. You could get lucky or walk across the parking lot. 06/23 read more

Jitters - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Eagle River, Alaska

Despite not living in Eagle River, Jitters is definitely one I'm willing to make the drive out for every so often. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, with none of the clinical feel of a modern Starbucks location. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and I haven't had a bad experience here, both at the cafe and the drive through location. The food is decent, pretty standard fare for any coffee shop here, and the drinks are quick and well made; I haven't had an issue with my order once, which is always greatly appreciated as someone who can be pretty picky due to ARFID. The atmosphere here is fantastic honestly, exactly what you would imagine an "ideal" cozy cafe to feel like. Warm, inviting, and somewhere you can sit and chat without feeling like a nuisance. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area, or anyone passing through! read more

I love cozy coffee shops and this place is definitely up my alley. The service is great and the coffee/drink selections are perfect. They have a variety of flavors and options on the menu to choose from. Coffee was perfect, considering I had multiple orders that were quite specific. Staff was prompt and professional. read more

Service: Friendly. Ambiance: Packed. Like a nerd convention in here everyday. Food: Do you like coffee? Then this place ain't for you. Do you want rocket fuel? Your in luck. This place make coffee that will have you forgetting to sleep! Cost: very fair. Advice: If you like Starbucks this ain't that. This coffee is for people who only care about what they do in daytime hours. read more

An Eagle River classic! Excellent coffee and tea, with a wide variety of choices. Friendly service and a hometown atmosphere.

Good coffee, muffins, and service! Always a great place to visit with friends or just grab a quick coffee to go.

This place is FIRE. Jitters is a great place for coffee and comfort foods. I got myself a large cup of regular Brazil flavored strong coffee, with a slice of cake, and it was a warm experience here. My girl got what she wanted. The iced Teas are good here too. They also have iced coffee for the young ones too. Happy friendly good people working here. Place looks more like a restaurant with art of it rather than a coffee shop. Nice staff and cool people, we will be back. read more

Perhaps coming here primarily for breakfast was a bad idea. We saw the number of good reviews and plentiful breakfast options so we stopped here on our way out of town. Unfortunately, the breakfast options are cold and wrapped in plastic wrap then you have to microwave it yourself if you want to eat it at that time. Mine was packaged 2 days prior. The food we ordered ended up being okay but if you're looking for breakfast, I'd go elsewhere. Our coffees were good and fresh. Prices for everything seemed a bit steep for what you get. That being said, it was packed at 10:30 on a Wednesday morning so they're doing something people like. read more

This place gets an A+ for a variety of reasons. 1. A fire place. Enough said. 2. Prompt, friendly service every time I've been in here. 3. Tasty little protein snacks. 4. Did I mention the fireplace? 5. Comfy chairs 6. Plenty of options for seating. 7. Delicious coffee. 8. Free water jugs with glasses. 9. Tasteful merchandise. Those hats are DOPE!! 10. Fire in a place. Sometimes known as a fireplace. 11. There are ten reasons above. Who needs an eleventh. But seriously, this is your quintessential coffee shop with the perfect atmosphere for the hippy hipster, coffee snob. "This coffee has undertones of caramel and toffee with a slight splaying of dark Chocolate, but only when toasted after being extremented from the behind of the elusive civet cat on the outer banks of some hard-to-reach African country." Disclaimer: rating based on ability to support studying/working on computer! (coffee is good too though) Fast internet! Spacious shop, even for half capacity due to COVID... It is hustling and bustling in here all day! I'm not coffee expert, but coffee tasted good, can't complain. Food menu from there website is "dated".. Probably because they're not cooking in house during COVID so only prepacked sandwiches/bagels/breakfast items are available (I tried ordering a hot food item and the guy looked at me like I was crazy ) read more

Jitters - The drive thru & you can get your mocha inside as well. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Eagle River, Alaska

It's pretty alright for a coffee joint. There are two entrances, though I tend to use the one closest to the cash register. Lots of wood tables and local art give it a comfy atmosphere. Decent baked goods. My pops really enjoyed the banana bread. I am not the biggest fan of the parking lot. Why? There is a Jitters coffee stand in it (why?) and the line to get coffee from it blocks parking spaces. Selfish much? read more

My wife and I flew all the way out from California so we can have Jitters again! It is much better than that big corporation called Starbucks, and when I lived in Alaska, it was where I always came for coffee. Jitters has ok coffee and can meet my needs in a pinch. The cafe is always over crowded, the coffee tends to be burnt, and milk is often also. The baristas typically don't always know how to make a proper cappuccino, mostly because they are 16-21 years old (this is not their fault), but again, in a pinch it will do. Jitters is an Eagle River staple, and its patrons take over the entire parking lot of the little strip mall. The little drive through blocks others from even being able to pull out. But it also shows the faith and strong community drive of Eagle River. If you are from the Chugiak/Eagle River area you cannot enter this shop without seeing someone you know and strike up a conversation (especially if you have been in the area from quite a while). The shop itself has grown from 1-2 units, has event space, and now has a fire place over the years, and will always be a place for the community. Everyone has their taste for coffee, this is not on my favorite for my taste buds - but it still does not stop me from being a patron to one of my old community's gathering spaces. read more

They make great rose and lavender lattes. Customer service is fast and friendly, too!

15 minutes before closing was told that she already cleaned the blenders so we couldn't order smoothies. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. Ran down MT POW/MIA with kids since they asked for smoothies at Jitters as their reward for making it to the peak. There have been a couple of other times I have received poor customer service. A sign of when they start cleaning up and end services before closing time would be most helpful. read more

A coffee spot favorite! Has been since it opened decades ago. Has grown exponentially over the years but they have never lost their charm or quality. Popular with locals and visitors alike, they can get busy but it's worth a short wait. I am plant based now, but if I ever decided to cheat I might head there for a cookie. Luckily they usually have a tasty treat I can indulge in making it easy to keep cravings in check. They employ so many students in the area which is another reason I love supporting them. read more
