Also had the egg/cheese/sausage muffin and it was freshly baked in the oven. They had plenty of seats and a few larger tables even for our large group of 9. Overall a great local cafe to come for your morning coffee! If you want togo there's the mobile cafe directly across outside!

There's a nice boardwalk that encircles the pond which is filled with lily pads. As we walked around the lake we saw baby ducks swimming which just added to the serenity of the nature outside. Inside the venue there's a kitchen/bar and an upstairs area which was used by the bridal party to get ready - and hide from the groom! Views from the balcony are just beautiful! Flowers, trees and mountains. It's really breathtaking! You are responsible for cleaning up and table decor. The owners were very kind! My favorite thing was he fact that with the customers consent, they will donate the center pieces to the nursing home nearby.

The woods cannot remove the noise of the city, but it does remove the scar of roads and urban slam. The space itself is clean, and spacious. It is well lit and architecturally, it allows for multiple meetings to go on without overhearing or even really seeing one another. The windows are also super cool. I'm not 100% clear on the rules but, the way I understand it is: if you have a non-profit, and you want to use this facility during the week. Then, you can. For free. I go here once a month for the Mountaineering Club of Alaska meetings. If you use it on the Weekends, you gotta pay. Driving into here/finding it is VERY confusing. Make SURE you look at the map I uploaded to the Yelp photos. If you need to be here ON TIME: I HIGHLY suggest you scout it out or come much earlier than your event. You have been warned!

I had a conference here this past weekend and even though it was right off A street, everyone got lost trying to find it. Google maps is apparently a big fat liar and sends you on a wild goose chase... But I digress. The Megan Room is a cute location for parties of about a hundred. It even has a nice patio. It is perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, conferences and would even be suitable for small weddings since it has the patio and a small industrial kitchen. There is ample parking as well. This is a nice addition to the largely underserved banquet facility space in town.

I was born in Anchorage, but I don't remember much of it. Let me just say that Alaska is the most gorgeous place in the world. The venue was perfect for a wedding. The bartender was a gem, and let me leave my car there when I drank too much bubbly, the view was incredible, the grounds outside were perfect, there was booze galore (I shouldn't mention that twice, but I was on vacation!) I'm pretty sure I would be a member if I lived there. I'm pretty sure I'll be back when I come to visit! I hope my bartender lady is still there. She was amazing. Huge fan guys! Huge.
