my fiancé and friends used to come here every thursday nights as a routine lol but we stopped going due to personal reasons, but my fiancé and I still enjoy jinya from time to time ourselves!! their spicy creamy vegan is TO DIE FOR, my fiancé isn't even vegan but he got it only because he didn't know what else to get so he just got the same as me lol, and he LOVED IT. he tried the spicy chicken once and he still thought the spicy creamy vegan was better lol! he also LOVES the jinya buns and always rants about how good they are and they melt in Your mouth??? amazing ramen place I always recommend to family friends and co workers!! read more

Place is awesome. Restrooms are clean, food is bomb, staff are very accommodating. My only complaint is that when taking out the ramen, you get way less portions than when eating at the place. read more

We tried carry out twice and decided to try delivery through door dash and it was quite pricey. Will order take out next time or try eating in. The Ramen though is so delicious!!! The Tonkotsu Black is my favorite. Tried it with the regular noodles and the kale noodles and both were so good! Best Ramen in the Woodlands/Spring area. read more

Decided to stop by Friday night around 8 to see if we could get seated but it was a 45 minute wait. Tons of great options in the area for fast casual food (Zoe's, totchy's, tarka) but we wanted a place you could linger a little more! Fortunately two spots at the bar opened up and we were able to snag those. Everything on the menu sounded great, definitely trying the gyoza & fried chicken app next time! Started with the bao buns & poke tacos- very good, and then we each ordered a ramen. I got the shrimp special & my husband ordered one of the pork ones! Both really great!! Also, if you ask they will bring you chili oil for your ramen! Our fav ramen place back on the east coast used to leave bottles of this on the table & we've become addicted to this in our ramen. Ordered pork chasu here for a quick lunch. My food took longer than usual to come out and was very disappointing. The pork chasu in my food was very visibly raw and disgusting. I did not even finish my food. This is definitely one of the worst Jinya locations I have been to in Houston by far. Will not be returning again. read more

My all time favorite ramen place!!! I love the Tonkotsu Black, that black garlic oil gives it so much flavor. Totally recommend! It's not too heavy but not too light either. And if your bowl doesn't come with a seasoned egg, GET IT! Also recommend the Takoyaki for appetizer. The service is always good too, no complaint there. My friend got the Spicy Umami Miso ramen and the gyoza appetizer. He killed it clean so I'm guessing it was very good too. read more

Last night, Zachary waited on uS. What a pleasant, positive young man! Very attentive! He had another person helping him. She had the most beautiful smile...seemed very happy to be there...which was so great to experience. When we dine out, we are all about the entire experience from food to service to ambiance, etc. This restaurant never disappoints!!! We always leave rejuvenated, nurtured, relaxed! Oh, and Congrats to Zachary, who is working his way through Baylor Medical School! We tested him with our ramen order, spicy level specifications, and numerous additional ingredients which he recited quite easily and delivered precisely and rapidly for our enjoyment. I've been to the JINYA in midtown, but it has been awhile since I have had their ramen and I would say I'm not that impressed by it. Having tried other ramen from other places I would say JINYA is at the bottom of my list. Their choices I feel like are minimal compared to other places, but they do have a lot of choices for add ons. I got their Spicy Umami Miso Ramen ($12.95) with mushrooms added on ($2.00 extra). The pork was good as well as the noodles but the broth was okay. I felt like the broth was lacking some depth of flavor and the mushrooms were grilled, here I was thinking they were raw which I think would've been better. I also shared their spicy creamy shrimp tempura ($8.50). The tempera was different, I was expecting the light and airy batter that tempura is known for, but it was more like popcorn shrimp which still wasn't bad because it had a really good flavor and a spicy kick. Would I recommend this place, no. I would suggest you give it a try though because some people's taste buds are different and if anything you should try their shrimp appetizer! read more

Great food. Wonderful environment and hands down the best Ramen I've had. It's worth the visit. Lots of food to choose from.

Everything was so good I forgot to take pictures. We had appetizers (Brussels Sprouts Tempura,Pork Gyoza, Jinya Bun) and ramen (Jinya Chicken Ramen and seasonal garlic Tun Tun). This place was alright at best. I got the wonton chiken ramen. It was really bland. I tried an egg with it, but the egg was disgusting.... I LOVE egg in my ramen, so that was really dissappointing.
