I've seen a lot of bad reviews in here and most are from about a year ago or more. I've been eating Jin Jin on an almost weekly basis since last summer and I've never been disappointed. I pretty much have regular dishes that I order from any Chinese restaurant, but still for the price and the portions you get I honestly love Jin Jin. Maybe they finally got a better chef or bettered their recipes because of the poor reviews. I normally order chicken or pork lo mein. Steamed or fried dumplings, orange chicken with white rice, won ton soup. Their crab rangoons are good and their egg rolls are okay. I remember their fried rice being a little bland, but I'm particular about fried rice. I usually like my own or Hawaiian-style fried rice. Since these are the main dishes I order, I can't speak for anything else on the menu. I will admit the lo mein definitely has a foul odor at first, but it tastes so good I don't even notice after I start eating. It's probably just whatever brand of fish sauce or sesame oil they use. read more

I walked in and was Greeted by a guy Told him I was there to pick up an order ** I was ready to pay and had my card in my hand *** He just says okay And nothing else. So I'm just standing there! I normally don't write reviews, and I'm a person who usually just takes an L and moves on. But this situation today was ridiculous enough to warrant a review in my opinion. I love Jin Jin's. I've had it a few times since moving to Ft. Riley and it's pretty standard as far as Chinese food goes. Great portions for the price, average food. Nothing spectacular but it satisfies after work cravings well enough. I've always ordered off of an app called QMenu. Never had any issues up until today, food was always on time and my orders were always right. The app also saves your info, so my address was the same and it's never changed. Today I got off work and decided I wanted to just get what I typically order since I didn't feel like going anywhere. I placed my order, the total of which was about $25 with delivery fees and tip included. I didn't schedule ahead like I normally do because I wanted my food as soon as possible. I placed the order around 1640. The estimated arrival time was 1734. I figured I'd give them a few minutes of wiggle room though since that's obviously an estimate. I almost always get a call when the delivery driver is at my barracks building, but I waited about 30 minutes after the estimate and still heard nothing. At this point, I was still optimistic. Another 30 minutes roll by, it's now 1830 and I'm starting to worry now. I've already checked the CQ desk twice to see if they just dropped it off and ran but no luck. I then decide to call them, which I hate doing but it was a last resort. I told the man on the phone my situation, and asked if he knew if the driver's had left yet. He said yes, but provided no further info. All he said to me was "call me back if you get your food and you don't like it and we'll work something out", then proceeded to hang up. I can't tell you if the food is good or not if I never even receive it. I thought maybe I put in my address wrong, but I have record of all my previous orders and the address is the same. I have no clue how they managed to screw up. It's now currently been about 3 hours and 20 minutes since I've ordered and it's very apparent I won't be getting my food tonight. So I'm now out of $25 and something to eat. At this point it's not even worth pursuing the issue. I don't even really care anymore. Needless to say, if I ever want food from them again I'll probably just pick it up myself. read more

When I pointed this out a few different ways (using the menu and literally pointing to be as clear as possible), all the man would say is, "Look at receipt" (receipt had been ripped off bag before he gave it to me) & "That is a lot of food there." One of the WORSE place to eat chinese at. I have tried their fried chicken wings, kung pao chicken, lo mein, general tso chicken, and "Shrimp spring roll" all were very plain. No flavor, especially the lo mein. the shrimp roll has literally 1 SMALL shrimp in the middle of the roll covered with vegetables. If you are like me who came from a big city this place will taste like crap to you. Do yourself a favor and save your money and go elsewhere. read more

My husband and I decided to try this place out since we're new in town. Online order and delivery was very convenient for us since we weren't used to the chinese delivery thing in California. The delivery took about 25mins. I got the sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice and he got orange chicken with the plain fried rice. I liked how the sauce for the sweet and sour came separate so I get the option to put as many or little as i want. Shrimp fried rice was good. So long story short. Honey chicken was decent. Egg drop not the best but not revolting. Service was non existent. They gave us plastic throwaway spoons. No plates to eat our egg rolls or silverware or sauce of any kind until my girlfriend said, "don't we get sweet n sour or something with this?"
