a hot dog with cheese on it
Tristan S.

Being an out of towner, I've been for a few places similar to this. Jim's was awesome. Spanish dog was on point. The chili has a sweet tangy flavor that sets it apart from your everyday hotdog sauce. Try the Spanish dog. Cheese chili and diced unions. A complete home run.

I had the Spanish Hotdog and cheese fries with real cheddar (not cheese whiz) and root beer.

Absolutely excellent sushi from the selection to presentation and flavor. We went for lunch and had…read morejust sushi then had to return for dinner just to try some other items. Service was perfect, greeted right away, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The sushi presentation was beautiful with a lot of attention to the details. Minimal rice, just enough to surround the filling and hold together, not too much to overpower the texture. All three rolls were different with unique flavors and textures. The ones with multiple fish selections on them were done perfectly balanced with enough of each to taste them all. We also got the crab rangoon which were the sweetest little pillows filled with a creamy crab flavored goodness. For our return dinner visit we again got sushi and crab rangoon but also got two entrees so we'd have leftovers the next day for traveling. The fried rice isn't quite what we expected but the shrimp and beef were cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. I highly recommend Ozu852, especially for sushi, and will definitely return when in the area.

We decided to come here for lunch on Saturday after a long morning of errands - my husband was…read moreoptimistic based on reviews glowing it was a "hidden gem". We love sushi - travel all the way to columbus just to have some from the unofficial "japantown" at kenny center Upon arrival at 2 pm, not super busy but the store appeared bright and well decorated. We were directed to pick our preferred seating. Menus were brough quickly, drink orders we taken and brought out quickly. Sprites, came with a cup of ice. This was were it went downhill. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and we eat out understanding there is a chance of cross contamination based on what we order. He had a mild reaction - we determined his reaction was from the glass with ice, which indicates it was not washed well. Not a good sign... We ordered house lo mein, king salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and one chicken and vegetable hibachi. Sushi? The rice was long grain and unseasoned... it fell apart as my husband picked it up. The fish was.. ok.. not wowed. Even the king salmon was...just salmon and not anything amazing. My tuna roll never made it. My husband said this was the first time he had bitter ginger... he spat that back out - ginger is suppose to be a palate cleanser... Lo mein? Was ok. It was not greasy, which is what I usually encounter. Noodles were soft, but ok. Flavor.. lacking.. and there was a notcieable amount of sauce at the bottom.. so it was too runny. The hiabachi? The fried rice, saddest fries rice ever. It was hard middle and .. flavor was offputting.. this is coming from a girl that was raised to eat rice everyday in many forms. I love durian, and this rice manage to offput me.... the flavor was just weird. The hibachi chicken and veggies were the best part..sauce flavor was great and the veggies were cooked very well and chicken was juicy. So overall... would not recommend due to cleanliness (based on contact contamination from a cup) and... food was just meh

My husband & I and 2 sons had lunch here to celebrate a birthday. We were seated immediately & our…read moredrink order was taken while we headed to the buffet. There were a lot of offerings on the buffet - something to please everyone. Hubby doesn't care much for Asian food & even he found plenty of things to eat, i.e. mac n cheese, salmon, bbq chicken, green beans, buffalo wings, garlic bread, sweet donuts & more. The quality was pretty good & the service was great. We would definitely eat here again.

I am sad to have to downgrade the rating, but I have to be honest. The bloom has been off the rose…read morefor quite some time now with respect to the buffet. It did start out great, but they pretty quickly pulled some of the best items. They replaced egg tarts with....slices of garlic bread?? There are too many non-Chinese items, and the rest never vary. Exact same stuff every day. One offering is pork with mushrooms which is about 90 percent mushrooms in the gravy. It is rarely replenished as it looks full, but there is no meat left. And there's never an actual wonton in the wonton soup, just sad shredded pieces of the dough. You can eat your fill of course on eggrolls, crabless Rangoons, Chinese donuts etc., all of which are great but not exactly a balanced diet. Now the staff here continue to be the nicest, sweetest folks you could hope for. On menu items, they do a fine job on Mongolian Beef and the Egg Foo Young is pretty consistent. Don't expect to be wowed, though they're still the best Chinese restaurant in Preble County. Oh, right....
