Drive-thru order The drive-thru was kind of packed, but it went by pretty quickly. I wanted a regular size Turkey and ham sub, light lettuce, mayonnaise, mustard and black olives. Not sure if they had any olives, but I didn't receive any. They didn't cut my sub in 3 either, so I did it myself at home. But anyway, the bread was really soft, and delicious. It was just enough meat on the sub, as well. I wanted plain lays chips, but they make their own chips. So I had Jim John's regular chips. I will definitely be back soon, but since they have several different sub sizes, I'll get the smallest one next time. I'm not a really big eater. :-) read more

After almost an hour of waiting and then trying to figure out where my sandwich went, they said they delivered it to another business. All they offered was to go back to the place they left it and pick it up- after 50 minutes.!! I don't want a sandwich that has been sitting somewhere else, or someone else ate it. I asked how that happened when my name is on the order, did he leave it outside?? They had no answer and offered no resolution but to cancel the payment. Will not order from here again. read more

This is a great Jimmy John's location. There is a drive through, ample seating inside, and the restroom I used was clean. The staff was friendly enough and the food was how I expected. No complaints! read more

We usually have 2 sandwiches and a pickle delivered and I would say 7/8 times at least one is completely wrong. PLUS the delivery times are getting astronomical I'm 7 min away... it's been 45 minutes and still no food.... Freaky fast my ass read more

We ordered two sandwiches one had fresh nice soft bread the other one the bread was so hard it cracked and it was almost burned. We ordered from here a lot so that was kind of disappointing. Hopefully that won't happen again. read more

Okay now don't get me wrong, they have good sandwiches but when your order delivery they always forget something. I mean my past 5 orders have missing items. This place is extremely clean inside and even though theu forget cookies or Mayo packets or even straws I will still order from them because the sandwiches rock. I typically get quick and accurate service and delivery of the sandwiches I order. I did tonight, but this is the first time they offered their toasted sandwiches. I ordered the roast beef and cheese toasted and it was the best sandwich they've ever put out! The sandwich was just delicious and still pretty warm from the toasting process. From the time I placed the order until I receive my sandwich was maybe 12 minutes, which is out freaking standing! Excellent job, Ottawa. read more

Have been here a couple of times and am always satisfied with the sandwiches. My father picked up some sandwiches over the weekend and mmm mm that tuna salad sub is so good! My parents both ordered the same sandwich, the Italian sub. The bread is always fresh and the shop always smells so good of fresh warm baked bread. The staff are really fast and the prices are fairly cheap in my opinion. The quality of the ingredients and the menu selection - especially vegetarian items - are much better than another sub sandwich shop in town. I also love the Unwich here, great to have a non-bread healthier option. Only thing bad with this place is the parking situation is rather tight with that drive-thru so close to parking. We usually end up parking across the street. Other than that, this is a good deal for a fast healthy meal. read more

First off, this is your standard Jimmy Johns. Busy as heck by the way, and the parking lot is REALLY SMALL, so consider if it's full going a block north to the ice cream shop which is out of business, parking there and walking back like I did. The Vito with hot peppers I ordered was just fine - the right amount of meat and toppings. Service was prompt - note they have 2 prep lines (one to the left and one to the right). I really love Jimmy Johns. The bread is delicious, and the veggie sub is my absolute favorite. It has such wonderful flavors and textures from the different veggies and cheeses. The other subs I've tried are tasty as well. The Frenchie didn't have any taste to me. I won't get that one again. The store is clean, and the workers are helpful and always look busy. Earlier today my sister and I ordered Jimmy John's through the drive through. She was looking forward to eating a chocolate chip cookie after she finished her sandwich and chips. When we got home, we opened the bag and there was no cookie! We called Jimmy John's and they asked for our address. They drove over a replacement cookie. The food is great (as with most Jimmy John's) but the drive-thru is one of most difficult I have ever experienced. It is confusing where you should pull in, then when you do pull in you better hope you have a small car or are really good at driving because it is very tight. There is also another lane on the side where quite often delivery drivers drive through. I have had several close calls with them and others while in the drive-thru. If you do plan on braving this tight-squeeze, be careful! read more

I have been going to Jimmy Johns ever since High School, and I do not think it is a stretch to say they offer the best cold sub's period. There prices have risen a bit over the years, however this doesn't concern me as I tend buy their day old breads and quality Deli meat from Handy foods also down town. We went to JJ ordered all of Subs without mayo. They all came with mayo. We asked the manager about it and he didn't believe us. Got the receipt number that clearly states no mayo. We all ate them after scraping the mayo and all the toppings off but one. Asked the manager for a credit for a $4.00 credit. He said we needed to bring the sub back. We live in Streator and may not be back for a week but he said we still needed to bring the sub back. You lost some good customers today. Hope it was worth it. Corporate was not happy when we called them . We even sent them pictures of the subs. Thanks for the no customer service. read more

Well. 5 stars because I live jjs. I want to only give them 1 star. I live in naplate. Same zip code as Ottawa and closer than some homes that they deliver to on the south and nothside of town. And still they refuse to deliver to me. That's OK I go to obees now. They will come to naplate with no questions asked. I understand jjs doesn't need my business to stay open and I don't need their sandwiches to live. However in hangover Saturday's a nice beach club on wheat or a jjs blt delivery helps save the day. So I called the folks at this location whipped up my dinner and had it to me before I was ready. Now that's fast cause I'm always ready.
