The inside of that place is so dirty. They need to get some actual cleaning spray and clean the place. It seems like they are using just water when they do wipe off a table. It is so dark in there, probably to hide the dirtiness from everyone. They also only take cash which is inconvenient. There really is no excuse for not taking cards in this day and age. So my advice is clean up and quit burning your pizzas!

Worth the Drive - One of the Best Pizzas I've Ever Had**…read more If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza, make the trip to **Iniga Pizzeria Napoletana** in DeKalb. It is, without question, some of the best pizza I've ever eaten! Every pizza arrives beautifully blistered with that signature airy, chewy crust that only a true wood-fired oven can produce. The ingredients are exceptional--from imported San Marzano tomatoes and creamy mozzarella to fresh herbs and premium toppings. Each pizza is handcrafted, simple, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Our favorites? Mais Pizza - sweet corn, creamy cheese, and just the right amount of char...unexpected and unforgettable. Hot White Pizza - rich, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. Pesto & Burrata - fresh, vibrant, and decadent with perfectly creamy burrata. San Marzano Tomato & Sausage - classic done to perfection. Sometimes the simplest combinations are the very best. The menu extends well beyond pizza with charcuterie, salads, gelato, desserts, cocktails, beer, and wine, plus gluten-free crust options for those who need them. If I had one suggestion, it would be to refresh the indoor atmosphere a bit. The food deserves an interior that matches its quality and creativity. The outdoor patio, however, is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal on a beautiful day. Brent as your server will take up another notch! And here's a bonus..Monday is half-price pizza. You'll probably find me there. Iniga doesn't just serve pizza--it delivers an authentic taste of Naples right here in Illinois. We decided to drop in since it had just opened, and we wanted to see what they had to offer. If you look at the name "pizzeria napoletana" you may get the idea that this isn't Pizza Hut. It isn't. This is (according to my wife who has been to Naples in Italy) pizza the Napoletanese way. Thin crusts, interesting toppings, and different than mainstream American pizza. When we arrived we were promptly greeted at the door as we walked in, and given a choice of bar or dining room seating. We selected the dining room. Both areas were warm and comfortable, with the usual things in the bar (big screen TV) and dining room (art on the walls, nice tables and chairs, nice booths). We started with the Bagna Cauda, which was delicious. It seemed to be a little light on the garlic compared to my friend's version of the dish, but it was still good. It was served with bread, fennel, pepper and zucchini for dipping. It could have fed 4. For pizzas, my wife ordered their Margherita Verace, and I ordered their Puttanesca pizza. The Puttanesca had green olives, brown olives and white anchovies. The crust was very thin - so thin that I ended up cutting this with my knife and using my fork. I couldn't even fold it - the crust is very soft. I tried my wife's Margherita Verace, and it was similar in crust. It had lots of good stuff on it, and tasted good. Drinks were reasonably sized. I had a glass of wine which was fresh, and my wife after trying to order (and pronounce) Raganrok found that they were out of the sweet mead, so she went with a Negroni instead, which she said was quite good. The bathrooms were clean, but chilly in temperature. I hit the hot air hand dryer as I walked out in an effort to warm up the space. Clean, all fixtures worked, and well kept. The question boils down to this: Are you willing to experience pizza the way it was originally made - or not. If you are willing, you should try this place out. If you aren't willing - well, that's on YOU to change. You're missing a lot.

Looks like a mini pizza. Just a little garlic butter sauce and melted cheese. Marinara sauce for dipping. Staff were friendly. It is just a carryout place, a pickup window is all. He sure did hustle and was a fantastic waiter. Great personality, fast, came over to check on us repeatedly and got all of our orders right the first time! Wow! The location is on top of the hill on Rt 6 leaving Ottawa... located next to one of the gentlemen's establishments but I won't judge the pizzeria. Lots of spacious parking in their own parking lot. Upon entering the pizzeria, my friend and I were wowed by the large banquet room. It was decorated very nicely and it looked like a wedding had been held here. We walked down the hall to the large room where our tables were reserved. A HUGE space with a lot of TVs and a dance floor. A very nice open space. My friend and I split a large cheese, onions, mushroom and black olive pizza. We also got some onion rings to share. I thought the food was really good. The crust was thin and crispy, piping hot cheese, just enough sauce. The toppings were fresh. The onion rings are just OK. Our party seemed very happy overall with the service. We kept commenting how professional and fast that Charlie was. I have never tried Alfano's Pizza which is insane considering they have been in Ottawa for decades, and Ottawa is my hometown. I was always partial to two other locally owned establishments. I would definitely come back because I was so impressed with the service and food.
