The giardiniera peppers are fantastic and I believe homemade. Apparently the owner of this place came out of Chicago and that's where the taste of the food came from. I've tried several Italian beef and this place does them well: toasted / buttered roll, good beef with delicious flavor ... au jus for $6.50! Side note: they have single, double and triple burgers for very inexpensive. I've been here several times, yet just now reviewing! Last note, the bartender Victoria working there is funny and fun!

Right down the road from me , I was taken here for lunch on my Birthday. This was back in…read moreDecember the place hadn't been open long enough. Burgers were decent and fries and sides were pretty good ( We are off to a good start) food came out timely and we were checked on but not bothered , prices were fair/ decent quality was good and was able to check out smoothly and leave . Bad news guys , here comes the truth ever since that day it was hard to figure out what days this place was open and what was on the menu when? Hours changed closed / back open , only communication was thru Facebook - ohhh no ! I'm Not on Facebook for real !!! Drive by no cars where's hours? Note on door - ohhh no! Never good ! Honestly I gave up between trying to communicate or see what there serving every weekend became a chore - how hard is it man ?? We tried 5 times - you advertised prime rib can we get this weekend? What day ? What time? Omg is it this hard ?not this weekend ??but follow us on Facebook for great deals? What??? I'm not on Facebook I just want to give you my money for Prime rib? Pop up events ? Wth is that ? I had to ask a millennial!! They didn't know I'm a Generation X neither generation could figure this place out - Now the big black trailer we all thought was gonna be barbecue in the parking lot is Soft serve ice cream? Cmon man - hahaha - sorry I had to laugh because of the stickers on that thing : Twitter / Facebook ohh man I avoid that type of social media but I'm a Yelper yaaa buddy and I'm a meat eater and Haze Smokehouse has some damn good smoked ribs and steaks !! And I can figure out what they are serving before the weekend and make plans to go there and have no stress or drama on Facebook or Twitter or Twatter or Tik - Tok -never been back , drive past it daily lost my business and most of my friends even younger people I work with said they would avoid any food place that they mostly communicate thru Facebook- was shocked to here millennials say that there the ones veering in your lane cause they can't put that damn phone down! 5 Buck keeping it real since 1968 Truthful reviews always-

Definitely don't judge an establishment based on what it looks like from the outside…read more This looked like someone's house but you walk in and it's a cozy restaurant with an amazing patio. We were seated in their second dining room which was away from the bar and main dining room. We were kinda bummed we got sat there but it ended up being ok. There was a large party seated behind us so it was quite noisy. We ordered martinis which were good. For an appetizer we got the fried pickles and those were delicious. Full of dill pickle flavor and the breading was very light. I ordered the salmon and sautéed spinach which was one of the specials. My dinner companion hit the rib eye and blackened shrimp. Both entrees came with a salad and the steak with a potato. Our appetizer and salads came out right away. The salad was very disappointing. Only lettuce pretty much, no tomatoes or anything else. I think it might have had cucumber. Very lack luster. My salmon and spinach was great!! I enjoyed it and the salmon portion was generous. I had enough to take home. The ribeye was cooked medium rare as requested and it was very good. Shrimp was great and had a nice spice to it. The French fries were cold though. Service was ok. I would definitely try them out again but be warned that they are a bit overpriced. Parking is terrible and you need a reservation. The patio was nice and I loved the fire places. There was live music that night. Overall good place for maybe a special occasion.

My dad had the steak taco dinner. He said the tacos were not what he expected. He said they were tasty but too small for his liking.
